Good food great service. We had the ackee wontons with a saltfish dip, chicken and waffles with shrimp, and the back danielle burger. My only wish is that their maple syrup for the waffles wasn't so thin. Same for the Johnny walker sauce on the burger. They make a great amaretto sour though. Music was good. It wasn't crowded with people. Nice vibe for a bite with a friend

One of my favorite spots to go to because I can guarantee they will serve me up great tasting food. The service sometimes isn’t the best, you are left waiting for extended periods but other than that it’s lovely. It’s a nice place to brunch especially or to have lunch with the girls. And if you’re eating on a budget, you still have options at this restaurant because they’re not so expensive. You should definitely visit!

Been wanting to go here since it opened and now I finally got there. To be honest, I was expecting more, Chelan's pics almost made it seem more bombastic. But with that being said it was still good enough, much smaller than anticipated though. We got the chicken, Shrimp and waffles and Angus Burger, both tasted pretty good with the only zonk being the button burger bun was soggy. The waiter got part of the order wrong, but nevertheless he was commendable. But what would make me tentative in going back are the prices, I'd say they are way too high given what's on offer and the basic atmosphere. I would go back for the cream of pumpkin soup though.

Was ou with some fiends from college and decided to visit. The ambiance was nice and welcoming our server Shanté was very professional and courteous. The food took the usual 15-25 minutes to prepare but upon arrival was worth the wait and the portions very generous for the price. All i all we had a very good dining experience and looking forward to going back there.

This spot is one that will definitely shock you! It's a liquor warehouse that also houses a Cafe with a diverse menu; even vegans and vegetarians can find something scrumptious to indulge in. From the main course, entrée, to dessert a huge hit. Delicious food and service with a smile.

When the first bite causes you to stop breathing, close your eyes, sigh and shake your head...............it's probably a done deal!!! #winning I visited for Burger Week. I wanted to maximise on the experience so I ordered the Slider Platter: Beef, Lamb and Fish. Everything tasted fresh; bread fresh, condiments fresh, meat hot-off-the-grill FRESH! Our Server could have been a bit more attentive. She didn't make suggestions re upgrading our seasoned fries, didn't follow up for our drink order. There was a little wait for the meal, but MANNNN!!!!! was it worth it! I'll definitely be heading back here for casual and celebratory dining.

It was a Saturday Night , yes the place is a hot spot but it was over crowded, my friends had a birthday dinner there and people were literally squeezing us to get to their table, dancing and bouncing our table, the wait for the food was really long I must say, the staff is courteous, presented herself really well and tried to go above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, the food was a 4/10 to be honest

Ok. Probably one of the worst experiences ever for me. I'm not quick to give bad reviews, but I felt bamboozled when my boyfriend and I visited this restaurant. The place was super tiny. Even the bathroom was so small when I went to wash my hand. I guess it's to give you a "homey" vibe, but I wasn't feeling it at all. The food looked good online so I was excited to try it, but let me tell you... I have never been so disappointed before. The food looked blah and mine was extremely oily. Felt uneasy for days after having it. It was some sort of Pasta with olive oil. (Forgot to take a picture). Needless to say I've never been there again after that.

I drove across Kingston just for the Chowder and had to order another serving to go. Absolutely delightful comfort food, really just wish it was a larger portion size. Servers and staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Decided to try the Beer Battered Fish and Chips and while it was satisfying, the batter was too much for the small strips of fish, discarded half the batter.

The restaurant area is smaller than I expected… much much smaller. However, that didn’t take away much from the experience. The decor is simple but tasteful and they made good use of the space in terms of how the dining layout is done. Omg...what an experience! Great food, even better drinks. On top of that, our server was excellent. My fav was the bbq pork chops...y’all didn’t have to turn up my tastebuds like that. It was so juicy and tender...flavour was on point. Ouuu and that sauce was it! Thank you for making my friend’s birthday even better.

Went on a Saturday for a late lunch.. It's more of a place to grab a good bite rather than a "date night" vibe. My waiter was pleasant and didn't hesitate to redo our fries order which was overly salted. The grounds are small but clean and kept. Parking may be tight if you go on a busy night. Food tasted good. Menu and drink options were varied and price $$-$$$. Id go back.

Great environment & food, and Burger week is always something to look forward to, but I'm always here for their pastas. While there you can grab a drink from the bar, or pick one up from the attached liquor mart

We're still waiting to be asked what we would like to drink 🤣 Upon entering we asked for seating for 6-7 and was immediately told that size would be seated outdoor. Since 2 of us were interested in watching the world cup match we asked if we could be seated inside instead to which I hastily suggested joining two tables 🙄 Before the entire group ordered I put in my order for the oxtail lasagna as it clearly stated 45 min. After about 45 we asked for an update on the kids meals as they were hungry to which our server replied he was not the 1 to prepare the food, he made drinks" 😭 We were shook! But best believe the oxtail lasagna was served cold at the same time everyone else's order was served ?! I had to ask for it to be reheated. It was not my 1st time going but I'll be sure to order takeout next time because the service inhouse sucks!

10 out of 10. The food was absolutely amazing; the service was excellent. They have a wide variety of really great dishes to choose from. The dining space is on the smaller side but makes for a great spot for your intimate occasions.

The experience wasn't bad, the place is very small & intimate. I didn't like the fact that the restroom was so close to the kitchen and so tiny. I had to open the door just to wash my hands, with a small space like that, the restroom should be outside, just my opinion.

This place always delivers. The food is well prepared and presented, the service is always pleasant, well 95% of the time anyway, parking is ample, wait time is manageable. The location is always clean, it's small and cozy and decent for conversation as long as you or your neighbor aren't loud. The extensive wine options are a definite selling point for wine lovers and generally the liquor/beverage options are good. The price point is what you would expect for this type of venue. I have visited several times ( and fully intend to continue) for business lunch & dinner and socially with friends and family. Kids are welcome, but its not well suited for little ones. Overall, its totally worth the experience🥂 oh and you can check out the store for your favorite 🍷 and other beverages

Parking tight. Luckily it wasn't too busy when we went. Garlic mashed potatoes and garlic bread were really good. Potatoes had a hit of coconut milk in there. Wings were just okay, wasn't wowed by it.

Jamaica Liquor Warehouse is interesting in that it is a liquor store with a cafe right next door. From their regular menu, I highly recommend their Alfredo with Jerk Chicken. Also, the best Moscow Mule I've had in Kingston, hands down. Nowhere else comes close. Pictured here is the Mojito French Toast from their Brunch menu. They have a pretty jam packed brunch menu, which is nice as it appeals to almost every palate. With both international and local flavours on the menu, I am always indecisive whenever I visit!

I can find the right liquor at the right price love that place just as much as the whiskey I buy there

Food is the best

So last week I went to dine with friends was about 10 of us the place wasn't pack but obviously busy. Our server nickette was well attentive to us did an exceptional job. However when it was time for the food to come out another waitress was helping our server she rub us all the wrong way because of the attitude she gave us all. She did it again and we asked our server not to have her back out. Other than that the food was great ambiance and service was excellent. Looking forward to be back.

Definitely one of my favourite places to go. All my experiences here as been a great one so far. As there service is good and the food is even better. Small dining area inside. However they also have some outside seating available. Nice vibe for friend and family to hang out and catch up or just enjoy a quiet meal.

EXCELLENT quality food! I have dined at this restaurant multiple times, and i'm always happy with my meal. From brunch, all the way to dinner. JLW never seems to disappoint. The wines were perfectly chilled and paired well with my dishes. Don't forget to check out the liquor store right next to the restaurant! A great location for holiday gifts and your everyday supplies :)

The food was horrible 3 of the 13 persons I went with has Diarrhea we all had Mud Slide.

They dont have the best customer service, they are not necessarily rude,but clearly not much care and effort in the way they carry out their duties and explain to customers.. The food and venue are ok too.

The food was good, staff (Isha) was a fantastic server and the Ambience was welcoming. I ordered strawberry mojito but the taste was off. It's refreshing to go out to eat and chitchat and not having to compete with the loud music.

The restaurant in terms of space it's not big but I enjoyed my time spent there and it's really quiet so if you are in the mood for peace and quiet while having a meal, this is the place. The waitress and waiter were very pleasant. My meal was sooooo delicious, I would definitely visit again. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

The lobster chowder is great! However everything else seems to lack... I ordered the fully loaded fries but it wasn't all that. The cheese used wasn't the cheese I'm used to on loaded fries. A bit grainy for me. The fries were cold and unsalted. Would only go back for the chowder

Because its off the beaten track, its the perfect place for a quick meal whether you are by yourself or with friends. Also right next door is a store with a wide range of wines, spirits and party supplies.

The ambiance was great it was quiet and the service was amazing our waitress Nicket was so nice. I would definitely recommend this place as kids are welcome.

Good was good but we waited 40 mins for the appetizer alone (restaurant week). Some of the food was cold unfortunately but the flavour was good (except the green plantain bruchetta which had way too much vinegar). Would definitely return for the lobster corn chowder.
