A small museum, and a relatively short but informative tour. Our tour guide was super pleasant and knowledgeable. With so much emphasis often being placed on Bob Marley, it was good to hear the story of Peter Tosh, who was somewhat overshadowed by Bob. I definitely think every reggae lover should experience this museum.

There was no tour guide to assist you with the tour. We were left on our own, with someone watching our ever move and when we were finished reading the displays and heading towards the door the man watching us asked if we had any questions. My spouse asked a question for it not to look bad. Which the man couldn't give a direct answer.

An amazing place with amazing memorabilia. A must-see for any reggae legend museum tourist. They have the original M16 guitar and Peter Tosh's unicycle on display. They have a wonderful documentary playing in the background and amazin memorabilia everywhere the eye can see. I wonder if I walk down memory lane. Do not miss this national treasure and attraction while you're in Kingston, Jamaica. BigUp! Yourself & BigUp! Jamaica!

The people who wrote the 5 star reviews must have been reviewing something else. This was a total waste of $2000. I cannot believe they charge tourists $20 for this junk! Three rooms and you have to basically tour yourself since everything is self explanatory. There is hardly anything to look at. My “tour guide” was the security guard, who was more an annoyance than anything else, insisting that I listen to peter tosh songs on the machine they had, despite telling him I was not interested over and over. He finally got the picture when I walked away, leaving him to enjoy the music while I scanned the other 2 walls. Taking the bright idea from Bob Marley museum, tourists cannot take pics inside — not that there is anything picture worthy inside — but there is nothing outside that one would want to capture forever. I don’t know what I paid $2000 for. What I do know if that this place is going to call itself a museum, it should have at least been free.

Unfortunately not yet open after COVID. But on a previous visit it was very informative about Peter Tosh, (his memorabilia, news paper cutting and videos) who was also member of the Wailers with Bob Marley.

Informative tour and an enlightening visit for Tosh fans but the museum was very small, and could do well with more additions e.g. a lifesize statue of Tosh out front for a photo op.

Tour was interesting, I learnt more about Peter Tosh and his work. I was however did about not being able to take photos. Overall I'm happy that I experienced it and fans of Reggae music as well as those curious about the genre should go. His work was important and still relevant to this day and having a dedicated space to honor his legacy is important to the roots and culture of Jamaica.

Great tour and history of how rum is made. The lunch provided was also decent. Would recommend for group trips.

Small but mighty! We had the pleasure of being guided through the museum by Fuliman (I hope I'm spelling it right) and had an absolutely great visit. He was incredibly well informed and was able to dive into any questions we had about Peter's life and work, the history of Rastafari, and how it all ties into the Jamaican way of life. We had such a good time we actually stayed and chatted for nearly an hour after our tour ended. Be sure to ask lots of questions to your guide as there is so much political context and history needed to understand the importance and impact of Peter's work. Big ups to everyone telling his story, more people need to hear it.
