    It's good to see that the park is open again. This park needed to be opened a long time ago. Now persons in Halfway Tree have somewhere they can go to relax and pass the time. There is also a great and central area to meet up with friends..

    Nelson Mandela Park is situated right in the middle of Halfway Tree. It is small park (approx. 3600 square meter). It contains a few trees where one can find a shade in the afternoon sun. One can sit and enjoy their patty, coco-bread and Pepsi that they obtained across the street at the Tastee Patty shop. Also, it is a short walk from the bus terminal.

    Park is a nice scenic plant life in the middle of busy half way tree. Just don't get robbed. Some very suspicious people are there.

    This place is quite clean & spacious. The only flaw I have of the place is that there is no lighting inside there (on the posts to turn on when it gets dark.) As soon as the sun sets, the security officer starts to instruct everyone to vacate the premises.

    Poorly maintained and no form of management. No social distancing encouraged, urine scent all over the park, not clean and just not suitable for any form of socializing or recreational activity

    Nice quiet place in the daytimes despite the traffic sounds.... Great for taking pictures but be careful of idlers watching you in the nights

    I speed walked through here as scared as a cat and only did so because I was running late. Too many of my friends and coworkers have been robbed in this little park. Just be careful as there are no security personnel around and even if they are, they won't come to your rescue (most are unarmed.)

    Nothing special happens here, I know it's a park but still at least try keeping the grass green and the trees CONSISTENTLY GROOMED... only a few people reside at this spot these days including gang members who seems to thrive in this public part of the capital where members of the national security force practically resides...

    Nothing much to see or do. Pretty much a hang out / meeting spot for locals like taxi men and vendors. However it is a welcomed distraction from the concrete jungle and commercial buildings.

    Very clean and welcoming...bathroom is locaon the outside you have to pay fifty Jamaica dollars to get tissue to use the bathroom

    I go there to smoke with my friends after work. Music is played by the shop or night club nearby. Keep yourself aware though.

    The is nothing on the park for people to be engaged. There is a big space and areas where you can sit but the park is infested with thieves and smokers.

    Don't recommend, not safe, high possibility of being robbed, very high rise of an incident of violent nature. There's free WiFi though, I can't say if the connection is good or bad I didn't stay long enough to even want to try.
