Kushite's is a different type of restaurant. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a large selection of best vegetarian dishes.

My Experience on the evening of Tuesday, February 13, 2018 was unpleasant. Even though The restaurant's environment was awesome,the server needs training and knowledge in customer service. Her behavior and body language was very negative and disappointing. She gave the impression that only certain customers were VIPs and actually made the statement. <br>In addition, she aggressively placed the bill on the table and forgot to say thank you after being paid. <br>I would not recommend this type of service to anyone and would not visit star grill restaurant again for this kind of impolite service. <br>I would suggest to all other options in Mandeville that gives better service. <br>I reported my experience to the supervisor on duty with the intention that this employee will take her career seriously and improve on her behavior not because I want her services to be terminated. I pray that this employee will learn from this and <br>treat other persons with respect <br>and care. <br>I believe star grill restaurant can do well if employees offer better customer service.

First time trying this place. Who knew vegetarian cuisine could taste so good! Courteous staff. However, the chairs are uncomfortable. Although I had two courses I was still feeling a bit hungry. Unfortunately, the dessert options were limited when I visited. I still plan to go back though. Spent almost $4000 for two dishes and lemonade.

I ordered the chicken cordon-bleu. It was my first time having this ever! It was really good! The bar was out of everything though. They only had fruit punch. My server was very nice. I would give the servers and cashiers 5 stars. Service was great!

This restaurant has a "palace" ambience going on. The decor is lovely. Customer service was good. Food options were definitely different for us because we are far from being vegetarians. My husband wasn't very enthused to go but he enjoyed the food and special drinks that was made fresh for us.

Definitely by far the best vegan food I have had in Kingston was amazed at how good it was took my dad who does not eat vegetarian or vegan food he was very upset that I was taking him to this place but left with the biggest smile on his face and could not get over what he had just eaten had no meat in it so it must be really good to have pleased him Will definitely be back on my next trip to Kingston

My first time and it certainly wont be my last. The setting is romantic but good for any occasion, with friends or family or just for time alone. I went for cheesecake it certainly didn't disappoint. I cant wait to go back to check out their other menu items.

My favourite Restaurant to eat in Mandeville!!!

Kushite really has revolutionized plant-based dining in Jamaica. On my first visit I had Ackee Tortillas which is made from organic masa harina which is a gluten free maize flour used in traditional Mexican cooking and seasoned ackee served with breadfruit salad. My second visit I had Jamaican Jerk flavoured lentil patties topped with sorrel chutney, lettuce, tomatoes and picked onions. Both meals I had with a Lemongrass lemonade drink. Prices are fairly resonable if you are dining out. Kushite also is the winner of the 2017 Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards for best vegetarian cuisine in the island. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are serious about eating healthy.

Lovely ambiance, pleasant servers/receptionist, excellent food......A MUST TRY. This was my first experience with family visiting from overseas and we were totally impressed with the place from the presentation of our meals to the utter satisfaction derived from consumption!! We are not vegetarians however, we do try to eat as properly as we can notwithstanding. Having previously seen pictures of the meals and heard the positive reviews, we decided to take the plunge and WOW!! We will definitely return and the restaurant is highly recommended.

There's always something wrong with the food. Either it's cold or not properly cooked. Ambiance is great though....... now, today I went to buy my precious cheese cake. They had no container for the cake. I waited for over 5mins for my change, which they didn't have. Thanks to the person who came there to me as she could make the change...on top of this, a young that works there stood there before me using her fingers to wipe off the cake crumbs from the utensil that was used to serve my cake and licked it off. Wow, wow. Like seriously, how professional is that. Come on star grill

The pasta was good but the customer service was ify. . Like they had no idea what they were doing. Communication between the waitress and kitchen was off. It's beautiful there tho and probably one of the best spot s in Mandeville

Star Grill is one of the few sit down restaurants in Mandeville with affordable prices. Customer service is lacking in my opinion but that's usually the case with most restaurants in Jamaica. The ambience is decent as well with Jamaican theme through with interesting work and the Jamaican colours running through. There is a more formal doing area upstairs where people make reservations I've never been there but it seems to be popular. My stars reflect it all...its ok but that about it.

It's a nice environment to go dine. Two restaurant caters for two different types visitors you have a casual section of the restaurant and you have fine dining section. All meals are done to order. Nice and friendly courteous staff. The restaurant has its own parking lot which is easy to access.

I have eaten here in a few occasions. It's a very modern looking restaurant with very ambitious dishes. However, the last time I went there with a few other persons to dine, we had to wait for an unbelievably and frustratingly long time for the food to be prepared. It was simply incredible! However, the food was not bad and the customer service was OK.

I went to this restaurant on my last visit to ja and I would never do it again. The waitress brought us glasses of water and never came back . We had to ask someone else about the waitress..We saw other people came and got served right away while we waited for an hour for our meals " I'm assuming those are regular customer's so they were more important"..Even a family that was seated next to us got upset and left. The meal was ok but the service was terrible.. all of waitresses needs to be retrained.

I ordered the Cuban Pita Burger as take out, it was fabulous! The sweet potato chips had just the right amount of spice, and the plantain in the burger added the perfect amount of sweetness. The prices are quite high in comparison to other vegan restaurants, however, the ambiance and the food are also more in line with an elegant dine in. Well worth it!

Some of the food is good however,customer service is very poor Some staffs have no manners their facial expression is not welcoming to customers, that attitude needs to change.
