Extremely bad service at the new location. Definitely need an improvement in service. Took 1 and a half hr to get the food and another 30-45mins to get the bill. In fact I have still not gotten a bill. Have to walk to the window to collect a bill. Definitely not a recommendation .

Extreeeeeemly bad, bad, bad service!!!! Waitress had ABSOLUTELY NO customer service! Here is my list of what went wrong that night: 1. Server took about 20 minutes to give us the menu 2. She had a very bad attitude, i don't even know what her name because she literally came and threw the menu on the table and left. 3. She took another 20 minutes to come take our orders. 4. She didn't even offer us water 5. She took away the bar menu and didn't even ask us if we wanted to get something to drink. 6. Burger was under cooked! 7. Oh, and the bill, I thought she forgot about it because she took forever to bring it, too. Overall, was an awful experience!

The food is good as usual. Wish the portion was a bit larger.

It is a great place with alot of vibes. Customer service is great and actually makes up for the wait time for food and drinks.

Food not good at all, shrimp pasta had about 4 small shrimps, green plantain seemed to have been fried along time ago and then reheated, it was saturated in oil and as flaky as a patty!! Wings didn't taste fresh, tasted like it was cooked awhile before and then reheated, was just horrible. Fries was cold and limp. The waitress looked and acted like she didn't want to be there from the get go. God bless the mixed drinks, those were good.

From parking to leaving ... it was very excellent service. Staff were very kind and friendly and the food was well done in a timely manner.

I have only had jerked chick which was too salty to be eated. They apologised, and offered to chang my meal which I accepted. Bbq chicken also came salty.

The place could do with a little fixing up. Our server decided not to write down orders (6 in total). When we asked for separate bills he had a tough time remembering our orders and it took him two tries before he decided to write down the orders based on what we told him we had. I had the wings (freshly fried) but the BBQ sauce is not the best (think about taking any form of sauce on the side). The fried plantain tasted as if it was fried in "stale" oil. The music was loud for no reason and it wasn't tuned properly. I had vowed to not go back some years ago and because of co-workers I decided to visit again. Now, I know for sure I will never return.

Restaurant has a unique ambiance complementing the very delicious food and excellent customer service. Great for family and friends and to even share with an intimate one. Prices are reasonable too. The only minor problem would be the slight rocking of the furniture which seems to be a part of the setting.

The server tried her best but all the food was poorly prepared in flavor. Ordered a steam fish, when it came it was pint sized and cold. I was told its a 1lb fish. I laughed. Lobster was ok. Jerl pork was not fresh. Im a loyal truck stop customer. Been going here for 10 years. Ive never had food that isnt good from here. Better luck next time. Ill be back

The space was lively with music. Loved the outdoor setting. The service and the food were both good.

First time visiting and would not reccomend it. 0.4/10 for me. My really close friend brought me here for a birthday dinner and horrible. The food was trash. The air was stink (sewage water stink). The vibes was dull. The restaurant was empty. Customer service was lacking... We ended up going to Fromage for take out.

I love the crawfish soup from here. When I was younger I would always get my mother to buy it for me. I also love the jerk pork, I don’t usually eat the skin but I can from here. I sent my bf to go get me some and I’m so excited!!! Lol

My fiend insisted we eat here based on her previous excellent experience in 2017. We booked a table for 5 people on Fri 13th (bad omen?) of Jan 2023 and the whole experience was lack-lustre; 1. poor ambiance / vibe 2. very slow and practically disinterested levels of service (we had to pester for additional drinks & for table to be cleared) When the food eventually arrived; 3. flat bread shredded pork was not flat bread (thick hard-dough slices), pork not shredded (chopped bits), dry & poorly seasoned. 4. shrimps in my kebab were pre cooked & tough 5. chopped raw veg had sugar in it 6. the jerk pork was 'meh'....nothing special 7. no barman (on a Friday night?) meant no cocktails available 8. the printed bill was actually illegible so we had to tot-up everything manually. The only saving grace was the two steamed fish platters - piping hot & fresh. Overall - disappointed & sadly will not be repeating my Truck Stop experience!

The new Truck Stop is an insult to the old one. Food quality is not as good and the service is lacking. I ordered Jerk Pork. Our party of four ordered various ditches. We all left unimpressed.

Great ambiance...very spacious. I like the rustic look. Food is good also and I really appreciate the volume of the music, it allows for conversation. However the selection of music leaves a lot to be desired. All on all it's a pretty decent place to eat and have some casual fun.

The place was great. The food was great. The service was okay. For me personally, it was a little hard to find, however I got good directions i was able to reach the destination. The food was great, love their wings and the potato wedge was good. The cocktails was amazing, they also serve hard liquor and bottled drink like Smirnoff ice. Do try their mud slide. 😋 The menu has alot of things, which gives you variety.

One of the best and most underrated places in Kingston. Nice ambiance and very nice spot for conversations. The food is excellent and very affordable.

They have awesome bbq pork ! Customer service was good .. wait time wasn’t bad and we went on a Friday night. Perfect for a little after work chill too.

One stop shopping

Got there a little later than their new curfew-enforced cut-off time and was so disappointed as my entire family (group of 7) was looking forward to the experience. But they made a valiant effort and facilitated us with excellent customer service from Matthew. Needless to say, a great time was had by all!! Thanks Truck Stop!
