Came here at 5:30 on Saturday no reservations. There was no wait time and we were seated promptly. The outside view was really nice, we could see the sunset, however there was a drizzle and we had to move inside. For a restaurant that promotes outside eating, we would have assumed that there would have been umbrellas at the tables for instances like this. The DJ was nice, vibes was good, food was alright.

I just want to cry. Imagine craving shrimp pasta and googled " best pasta in the liguanea area" and you find this restaurant, with a review stating the best Alfredo pasta ever and you order it just to be severely disappointed?! It was sooo fresh, no seasoning was added to this, NONE!. I ordered shrimp and Chicken pasta, I got 2 shrimps! 2! 🤣🤣 And the chicken was overcooked, tuff and fresh. Felt like I wasted my money and it just ruined my night. Better mi did just go cook and done! I went back yesterday, February 14! Because I missed my reservation time at Broken Plate. I got seated quickly. No reservation needed. I decided I wanted to try the pasta once more and yup! Just like the first time it was really bad. The server even brought it back to the chef and all they did was add more fresh sauce over it. The chef seems to be Afraid to use seasoning. The pasta was tough and needed to boil some more. The waitress offered to have it changed, but I figured it would be a waste of time. I even noticed a group across from me who had also ordered pasta, was making up their faces while eating it. It really just wasn't prepared properly. The beef kebab was delicious though! The drinks were ok. I asked for alcohol but no alcohol was added, but it was still delicious. I ended up ordering some loaded fries because I couldn't eat the pasta and that was disappointing too. I came to the realization that the cheese that they used was the problem. It was a flavourless white cheese. It definitely ruined the taste of the fries. And it couldn't even be scraped off, so I ended up wasting my money again. We atleast got our food somewhat quickly. I don't think I'll ever go back or if I do, I'm definitely avoiding the pasta. Our server was a real delight and very helpful. The music was great.

We received a seating upon arrival. The service was poor, the meal took forever to arrive. To make matters worst, the food was awful. The drinks and liquor however were good. We also ordered dessert and that too was awful, like who messes up pastry? The atmosphere and view from the roof was lovely. My overall experience was okay. I am still however disappointed about the meal and dessert as everyone speaks highly about the food. Not sure why tho.

Great new location, love the roof top atmosphere. It takes the pressure off customers who don't wish to dine instead while still offering great service. Our waiter was very prompt and attentive, he knew the cocktail and dinner menus very well so he was happy to suggest drinks and meals that would make our dinning experience A1. Perfect environment for a romantic date , girls nights by the bar , birthday dinner or even Sunday family dinner. Loved my visit and will be returning.

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was good. We wanted to dine outdoors but couldn't because the space was full. So, we just had to stay indoors. Space was a bit small. However, we had a great time. The servers were warms and so welcoming. Even the other guests were cool. Food was alright. Pasta was smooth, maybe needed a little more salt, but you can add it to your serving. When we finally went outside, the view was amazing! Chez Maria is recommended in my books!

Today I had a very filling lunch at my old favourite Mediterranean restaurant. After the disappointing lunch at another Mediterranean restaurant, which shall remain nameless, I wanted to try the Mediterranean food at Chez Maria instead of their Italian dishes. I opted for the BBQ trio with some sauteed vegetables. The meal was quite nice, the grilled chicken remained soft even after it got cold (I'm a slow eater). The lamb was nice, but the colder it got, the less soft it was, still tasty, the beef texture was okay. The pita bread remained delicious to the last bite. I loved the vegetables. They weren't overcooked nor were they tough. I couldn't finish the whole thing, so I left a few bites of the lamb and beef, because dessert had to be had. The JM$600 baklava arrived on a white plate drizzled with honey or a syrup with a fork. The 'other Mediterranean restaurant" baklava was $800 and arrived in sweety/candy wrappers in my to-go box and only one of the 4 small items was a real baklava. Anyway, the Chez Maria baklava was delicious, a bit sweet (sweet is not my favourite taste), it gave me two moments of silence. It..sorry, they were really good... satisfying. I was told that once again, the restaurant will be relocating to the Sovereign area in Liguanea. I should add that service was professional and friendly. 04/2023 Went back! Tried something new. I had the Shawarma beef combo with a pina colada. Everything was delicious! My friend had the penne something with strawberry daiquiri. Everything was delicious, too! Wonderful ambiance. Lovely service. Clean and quiet setting. I'd go back again and again! Since my previous review about 1.5 years ago, the prices have gone up considerably.

It gets better every time I go there. Perfect spot for you and a special someone or even to have special celebration amongst friends and family. The food is really good and the customer service is excellent. Will definitely recommend to anyone

Food - Hands down the best Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo pasta is found here. It has a different taste like no other pastas around, full of flavour with fat juicy shrimps, an easy 10/10. I’ve tried two of their pizzas - Jerky and Seafood - they were decent, great flavour but didn’t really wow me so 7/10. If you don’t like thin crust pizza then I wouldn’t recommend trying theirs. Serving size is decent as well. Customer service- Really professional and welcoming. Ambiance - amazing, perfect for an evening elegant date. Prices - reasonable in my opinion. Overall I give them a 9/10. Definitely will be going back plenty times.

I really enjoyed this restaurant and I’m very picky about food. The place was very clean and the music not too loud. We asked for the ac temperature to be turned up (it was really cold) and they did it without complaint. I loved the service. They were very warm and just overall professional. We couldn’t decide what to eat and our server helped us out, which turned out to be a really really great suggestion, and our food and drinks came soon after. The food was so good! The drinks too was fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere was very calming and the food soon became the star of the show. I also enjoyed that we could hear each other speak without having to speak too loudly over music. Trust me, I will be back. I even sent my friends there and they had the same comments. It’s a must visit spot for me.

It was LOVELY, the view from where I sat was amazing, and the sun hit just perfectly. The food is great, it's well done and very enjoyable, the service was a bit slow later in the night but I account that to be because of the amount of people and groups that came later into the night. The experience was lovely, I would 100% recommend. The photos attached was my Alfredo Seafood.

The environment was not loud, clean and spacious. I sat on the deck. My order was taken and I got served quickly. The customer service was excellent also. The food was greattttttttt. I would recommend and I am definitely going back

Great customer service and ambiance. They have both indoor and outdoor seating for the choosing. If it's your birthday they'll even give you a complimentary slice of cake which is thoughtful. The food however is just ok, and a little limited, besides appetisers, it's mainly pizza and pasta, there is alot to be desired where that is concerned, drinks selection is not the largest but not bad. Overall, it's a good restaurant selection.

The service here was great only because of our server Ricardo. Hope I have the right name. We entered and got the look like these people don’t see me wiping. Front desk girl cool too. But everyone else seemed like they didn’t wanna be there 4 star for you Rick. The food was good the pizza did cold but could work with. The buffalo wings were good but need a dip that counter the salt to be perfect. The Alfredo was ok the fettuccine could cook little more but the sauce was good and flavored. Over all good experience love the roof top vibe. Really good chill spot

We stumbled upon this place after having a bad experience at a nearby restaurant. The young lady serving was friendly, prompt and engaging. Pizza was great and was ready quickly!

I had the lobster pasta from Chez Maria and if you ask me this is the only way pasta should be served. It was an incredible burst of flavour in the pasta, the meat, and the sauce. If you already love pasta, you must try this dish, and if you don't, this might be the meal to convert you!

Our Family had dinner to celebrate my sister's birthday and it was delightful! Lovely ambiance and our server Dwight was amazing! Dwight was pleasant and very knowledgeable on the courses and accommodated our request for photos. We ordered beef kebbeh, shrimp Alfredo, steamed fish, fillet mignon, cream of pumpkin soup, smoked marlin, amaretto sour, strawberry daiquiri and pepperoni pizza. Everything was delectable, sorry we didn't get more pictures....we were starved and dived right in😋. Definitely recommended.

I've only ever ordered pizza here and its really good. My only dislike is the customer service. In my experience, waiters were outside sitting on their phones and I was there with no one to serve me. I'm definitely never going back.

Beautiful Restaurant with great service. -Prices are reasonable Price ranges from $1200+ depending on dish -They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from as they are Italian and Lebanese -My favorite is their Shrimp and chicken alfredo pasta for $2800! -Parking is readily avaible -They are located on the rooftop however, they are Non-physically-able friendly (elevator)

Cozy little restaurant with exuberant flavours coming from Lebanon and Italy. Their signature Chez Maria marsala dish is a delectable combination of chicken breast sauteed with garlic and mushrooms in a sweet wine creamy sauce.

The food here was delectable! The drinks came quickly and they tasted great. This wasn't a five star review though because The waiters aren't consistent. You get a different one every 8 minutes and a little long wait time for the food.

What an improvement to when it was at Hillcrest! Food was delicious, tasty and authentic. Ordered fattoush, kibbeh and grape vine leaves. Two comments here would be vine leaves were listed under cold mezze but were served hot. When I asked...was told Jamaicans like their food hot. Get that....then list it under hot mezze. Kibbeh was cooked to perfection...presentation was lacking...a lemon wedge or a garnish of garlic sauce would have been a lovely touch. Shared the BBQ trio with steamed vegetables. Very impressed with both color and texture of the veggies...again just enough steaming to retain crunch and look. Service was good...Peta Gay took good care of us and it was bustling and energetic inside the restaurant. Ordered a glass of white wine...limited selection on wine by the glass and in fact they were out of the Pinot Grigio. Offered a different label which was fine but it took quite some time to be served. Looked as if they attempted to chill it quickly as it was certainly not cold. The Pina Colada was good but without garnish so looked plain and ordinary. Banquette seating is too low for the table height although regular chairs were spot on. Would absolutely go back and would recommend! Kudos to the Chef!

The cajun shrimp is to die for. The service is great. If you want some tasty food and you're in the middle of town, call ahead, pop in and you're good to go.

This is my second time at the new location and the food is good and the service also good. Always met with easy-going honest and pleasant staff. You have the option of dining indoors or outdoors and on Friday the outdoor area is quite nice, sometimes with a DJ and it's also just nice to be at the bar. Def recommend it!
