It's
definitely
a
very
dirty
market
compared
to
markets
in
other
cities
like
Savana
la
mar.
The
customer
service
also
varies
from
vendor
to
vendor
but
my
rule
is
always
to
shop
with
people
who
are
pleasant
or
neutral...
cyah
deal
wid
the
ignorant
or
arrogant
ppl.
You
can
get
good
quality
produce
but
you
have
to
search
and
be
very
picky
about
it...
don't
spend
your
money
too
fast.
All
in
all,
prices
have
skyrocketed
over
the
years
though.
For
example,
1
lb
of
onion
can
cost
as
much
as
$300
jmd.
I'm
not
even
exaggerating
bcuz
I
just
went
to
the
market
last
Sat
Jan
28,
2023,
and
the
price
for
onions
ranged
from
$200-300
jmd
per
lb.
🙃
Yam
prices
weren't
too
bad
($120
per
lb)
and
tomatoes
were
around
the
same
price.
Sweet
potatoes
are
super
expensive
though
😫
@220
per
lb.
It's
worse
than
onions
bcuz
you
can
buy
just
1
lb
of
small
onions
and
survive
but
sweet
potatoes
are
a
staple
so
you
tend
to
want
3
or
more
lbs.
