Hotel is beautiful but is expected as it is in Jamaica. Local staff are all exceptionally well mannered and accommodating. The biggest let down was hotel management, mainly the owner of the hotel himself. It was very uncomfortable to see how he treated local staff interacting with visitors. He chased an employee off 'his property' in front of guests. He is racist and disrespectful and completely ruined guests experience. He is always there and I would not recommend visiting. There are many other beautiful hotels island wide to visit.

I did not stay at this hotel, I went to visit a relative who came for a reunion. From what I heard from her, the rooms are comfortable and the room service is adequate. She enjoyed her breakfast, so I would assume that the meals are well prepared. I met her in the lobby which had comfortable couches to relax. The security guard I spoke to upon entering the premises was asistive and polite. So based on the above, I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable experience.

Visited the Montego Bay S Hotel first and this one in Kingston had the same vibe felt except from the fact that there was no beach. Which is debatable depending on what you enjoy. Very chic, modern and clean rooms. Nice boutique vibe at this hotel, beautiful outside & sky pool.

The man at the bar is a legend. Great bartender and great company. Made the experience all the much better. Talk about great guys doing great things. I stay here for work about five times a year. Will be back for the cocktails.👍

It would of been 5 stars.... The staff is overall friendly and hospitable.Including those that went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and served. The food was great especially the breakfast. The bed comfortable. However, the premium channels were glitching. I think the fridge was responsible for the noise that we heard when the room was quiet, the noise was significant, therefore making it hard to fall asleep. Fridge was smaller than usual and its in a compartment.(I had to open first to get to the fridge. I hated that!!! )I didn't like having to request for a microwave.The standard king room is wayyy to small compared to other standard rooms everywhere else. And there should be smoking rooms available. it's more than inconvenient to have to go out of a room you're paying for to smoke. I was not happy that all the staff had mask on.it feels inhumane not see see who your dealing with.i rather see a smile.

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of New Kingston. Very friendly staff. The buffet breakfast had a wonderful spread. The Cabana Pool and Pool Bar are missing check out area - very relaxing. Ska Cafe had good light food bites and coffee drinks. There is a supermarket conveniently located across the street from the hotel. I would definitely stay at this location again!

The hospitality and access to food along with services were amazing. The over pricing of simple services and products were not and highly uncalled for. Should have been a 3/5 for that annoyance but other than that the people were kind and had amazing hospitality. View and surroundings and food are also amazing. Not the mention the antique sunbeam out front.

We reach the hotel after check-in but the guy at the front desk make our check-in quick and easy. 2 room was very clean 👌 3. I didn't get most of the staffs' names but to the ones I remembered and interacted with Suzanne(waitress), she was very pleasant and nice. I think it's Karen she took my reservation for my hubby's bday and she wasn't at work the night but she makes sure that it goes according to plan. the staffs were super pleasant I will be recommending and coming back whenever I'm in jamaica 🇯🇲

Very comfortable and well appointed. Service is excellent and each time I check in (often) I am greeted with professional and friendly staff who remember my name! Perfect location for a business stay as it is centrally located and very easy to access most places. I highly recommend. The fried dumplings at breakfast are among the best in Jamaica...my favourite indulgence when I stay there!

I had a great stay here, everyone was so pleasant and courteous. The jamaican breakfast options was a bit limited but very good tasting, the porridge options each morning was heavenly! 👌 from the front desk, to the servers in the dining room, to the housekeepers all were amazing!!! I never had a chance to visit the pool area or the rooftop restaurant on this visit but my next visit I'll be sure to check them out. I'll definitely be staying there again.

The whole property is a little older but well maintained, but the rooms are nice and very clean, (shout out housekeeping!). Also one of staff at the front desk was SOO helpful and friendly! Sis had a warm friendly smile and made check-in such a warm welcoming experience. She remembered us the next day when we were checking out. We only stayed one night but the staff we encountered were all nice and friendly.

I’m leaving a 5 star review because my stay was amazing! The room was clean as a whistle and sanitized even better. Couldn’t even find a spot on the shower glass😂 Everyone on staff was very accommodating and had great customer service.

I’ve stayed there a few times but my last visit was the very best. I stayed there for a week and the service along with the food was amazing. I really appreciated that those at the front desk took to time to remember my name and made sure I was having a great stay the entire time. Additionally, they went above and beyond; so much so that they took the time to find me my favorite fruit, mango 😁. Thank you all so so much for a wonderful stay. I can’t wait to visit again.

Dinner on my first night was fantastic, although I'm not a fan of Red Stripe Beer. Very lovely large room with lovely soft towels, great comfortable bed, soft sheets. Bottles of ice cold water in the fridge were very welcome. I would recommend Spanish court hotel

Absolutely lovely, from check-in to check-out, the most relaxing part of our trip we didn't have to worry about anything. The hotel is immaculate and gorgeous. We enjoyed room service dinner by the poolside. They also have a hot pool with fountains that is open an hour later than the regular pool (8pm, 9pm). Will definitely go back!

Staff are very good. Building is new, solid and well-designed. West-facing rooms are quiet and do not overlook traffic. Decor is very nice. A lot of extras in the room - lighting, storage. Beds are excellent and sheets high quality. 🙂

When I visit the Spanish Court I feel like I am going home to my family. The best food in Kingston. The friendliest hotel staff. Everyone calls you by your name, because it is so intimate they get to know their guests easily.

It was ironic that a restaurant in Kingston, Jamaica, had no "Jerk Chicken," "No Oxtail," and no "Red Snaper" to serve its guess for late Lunch or Dinner The food served was not anything to speak well of. The Chicken ROJO was not properly done, and the Salmon Fillet was dry and briskly. However, the atmosphere (ambiance) was not bad. The appearance of the dining area was well laid out, I was glad we were able to pick and choose where we wanted to sit. For a Jamaican Restaurant, every menu item was priced in US$ (not Jamaican dollar), which made the meal rather pricey.

Spanish Court Hotel is exceptional. The staff, the accommodations, the location are fantastic. The breakfast buffet was delicious and service impressive. We had a great stay and highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

This is the cleanest hotel I’ve been to. The linens smelled fresh and the staff were friendly and caring. The food and drinks were out of this world. All thumbs up to The Spanish Court therefore highly recommended especially since they gave us an upgrade of the room when they saw how long we were staying. My husband and I enjoyed our peaceable stay and a big thank you to all.

Staff were very warm and curteous. Rooms were large and well appointed. Walls were thick and rooms were very quiet. I would return for a business trip because of how quiet rooms were and how well the blackout curtains worked. Drinks and food were amazing! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

My husband and l stayed in July it was a Beautiful Hotel. The Restaurant was nice for dining in if you like. The room service was excellent. We stayed for two days . The pool attendant was very good he keep the area clean and nice. The Cushion covers could have been cleaner. The pool area was very clean .

99 % of the staff were top notch. Great Customer service. Delicious breakfast, with a wide variety of Jamaican breakfast food. I had a concern, and it was dealt with very swiftly and professionally. Would stay again. Highly reccomended. Very Clean. All the staff seems to really love their job, which speak volume of an institution.

I vacationed with a friend for one week at the Spanish Court Hotel in April, 2023. Our stay there was remarkable. The entire staff was very warm, friendly, and professional. The housekeeping supervisor, Stacy, was quite helpful, and attentive to our needs. The facility is modern with beautiful decor and spacious clean comfortable rooms. I looked forward to their really delicious authentic Jamaican buffet breakfast every morning 😋 The sky bar ambience was breath taking (visited late evening). The service there with the food and drink presentation was superb! Will definitely be staying there again.

I always come here to have breakfast, mostly on a Sunday morning, sometimes alone or with a friend and sit on the outside. A young gentleman would always assist, a very polite young man, who makes his customers feel appreciated. I came today on my birthday, 10minutes later than the breakfast cut-off time. I kindly asked the waitress if there was any way possible I could get some breakfast as that's what I really came for and her dry response was just "no, they're closed off". While I understand she's doing her job, it was the lack of customer satisfaction that annoyed me. I explained I was not interested in anything on the menu in the Cafe, I really just wanted to have some breakfast; she just stood there and said nothing. I ordered a cup of coffee and left. This experience was just the worst for me. I don't think I will be coming back here anymore. As a person who works in the hospitality industry, I know what it feels to cater to my customer's needs and to let them feel appreciated. I was not feeling appreciated today!!! One of the worst ways to start my day!!!!

I visited Spanish Court Hotel for a dinner and drinks night out with some coworkers. Food was great and we enjoyed the live music at the Sky Lounge. The ambience was just right for the occasion. I felt safe and the staff were very friendly :)

I stayed with a group of 20 persons travelling from Trinidad here in July 2023. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The staff was accommodating and responsive. We also had meetings there and the rooms were well put together. The banquet manager also made sure the event space was up to par for all the time we were there. I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Kingston.

Fourth visit back to the hotel in 3 years. Class hotel and top service have been hallmarks since I started patronizing the Spanish Court. Polite, efficient and thorough staff. Jamican buffet breakfast was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Dinner meals are also excellent. Many fast food options I'm a 5 minute walk if preferred. A full service Grocery store is directly across the street which is handy as well. I personally booked with the Manager, Mr. Joseph Perrin, and he was highly professional and courteous. I would not hesitate at all to return there next time i travel to Jamaica.

Kingston is a beautiful city but a city in Jamaica just the same – Spanish Court is like on oasis, perfectly located in the heart of New Kingston. After a hard workday, for business or other, Spanish Court is a welcome reprieve. The rooms are modern and spacious, clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom is refreshed and is pristine. From the reservations desk, Joseph has always made my stay easy and comfortable. He is friendly and reliable, courteous and resourceful. Joseph and his Team will exceed your expectations. The restaurant offers one of the best meals in Kingston and the wait staff like Winston, makes your experience pleasing- creating a home away from home feel. I have been staying at Spanish Court for over seven years and continue to return whenever I am in Kingston for work, as there is no other accommodation that provides comfort in a clean relaxing, space; with great staff from Joseph to Winston - Spanish Court has maintained its excellent standard over these years and I without hesitation highly recommend this space for your stay.

Menu needs revamping. It definitely needs more variety and options. Most things are jerk based and very spicy. It can get a bit tiring very quickly. Rooms are comfortable. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

This to me is one of Kingston best luxury hotel. The staffs are amazing and super professional. The pool the hot tub WOW I love it so much. Spanish Court hotel should be more than 5 star. They truly redefine luxury and and customers service. This my top hotel in Jamaica every time I visit because it is super luxurious, super reasonable with pricing and super star treatment of their guest. The on site restaurant is in a class by it self. Our favorite hotel in Kingston for years now. Excellent service, restaurant, rooms of course also with children. It has a nice outside pool and bar as well as an outside jacuzzi. Not to mention James Bond' s car parked right at the entrance.

Rooftop terrace has a very good ambiance and good to relax and have conversations. Food was ok but a bit pricey.

Pleasant but not fantastic. Inconsistent level's of customer service depending on whom you interact with. Pros: clean, nicely furnished lounge areas. Abundance of sanitizing machines strategically placed at each point of entry/exit. Comfortable beds, very nice restaurant with comfortable seating. Excellent banquet manager. Good Jamaican breakfast. Cons: Room smaller than expected. Interactions with some staff members were not always as expected. This is why one star was deducted.

Went for dinner by the pool side. The atmosphere was lovely but the servers appeared nervous. Bartender was searching around for the drink items and waiter seemed unsure of what he was doing. They were friendly though. The meal took a little while but overall the experience was good.

I went here for a drink with my friend for the second time and trust me it’s my second time in my life having Pina colada this great. I want to say a special thanks to MARK the bartender @the Kingston location for making such a smooth tantalizing drink. I don’t normally leave ratings but MARK you have us hooked. Check in was a breeze and the offer of some rum punch made it even better. The rooms are large and comfy and also very tidy and clean.

Spanish Court Hotel has set a new standard for hospitality. From the time we checked in to the twilight of our stay, everyone has been pleasant. The rooms are well-appointed, the staff is super-friendly and courteous, and we are just torn to leave such a lovely place. We spent the evening on the patio where we had some guests join us for dinner. The ambiance was spectacular. The icing on the cake for me has been the way the staff makes the effort to ensure you are satisfied and comfortable. This is the place to stay in Kingston. Unparalleled hospitality.

Great location ( near emancipation park and Bob Marleys' House. The service is really good, breakfast was buffet and you can sit outside. Rooms are very modern, clean and spacious. The best thing about this hotel has GOT to be their amazing hot tube near the outdoor bar. I could move there. You feel safe staying here. Loved the Bond references throughout. 5 stars.

I was so excited to check into this hotel with my husband. The first room that we checked into had a 10% view of the pool on the ground floor. I was hoping to get a much better view. It was hot and sticky so we turn on the AC in the room and to my surprise a huge cockroach dropped out of the vent! I screamed and jumped on the bed and then it ran into our closet! It was still alive! Thank goodness we met this wonderful manager named Stacy who apologized for the inconvenience and the lack of sleep that night and she moved us to a room down the hall. It was the exact type of room which faced the front of the hotel. I guess it was better and than the no view that we had in our first room. Sadly the next night we had an issue with our AC again! Not cockroaches this time. The AC stopped working!!! Dear God!! All I could say is please God, don't tell me wet have to move again. The maintenance guy Gawain told us that we will be upgraded and hooked up for sure after this SECOND INCONVENIENCE. I was expecting the same great customer service but not this time. They told us to pack up and they moved us to a room at the end of the hall with the view of the workers parking lot and a back road. At this point, I could not be bothered to ask about the upgrade promised or for anything at all. Besides the room inconveniences, the location of the hotel was great and the service at the front desk and restaurant was wonderful. Tanisha, Paris and Chris are the three that stuff out to me in the restaurant every morning with superb quality service! The food was ALWAYS 100%!!!

Shrimp curry, AMAZING! Customer service is world class. Pool is wonderful. Location great. Only negative is the traffic noise. Worth it even with that. AWESOME!!!

Was there for about 4hrs. Food was kinda bland the meeting area was uncomfortable too cold is Jamaica . Pool area nice clean beautiful. Nice will revisit.

I always like to take the time to leave a thorough review opposed to just leaving a positive or negative. First and foremost, The BEST HOTEL in New Kingston hands down... When you pull into the hotel, you'll notice the fully gated grounds and the surrounding is very clean and well manicured, as soon as you come into the entrance you will see that it is very nicely decorated and up-to-date. This was our first time staying at the Spanish Court hotel and I had made all of the reservations through Expedia and it had advised the check-in was not until 3 p.m. but due to my flight we arrived earlier than anticipated but the front desk reservationist "Moya" was more than accommodating. She took the time to let us see the rooms that were available and choose which one we preferred best. Once we were checked into our room we noticed that our room were very clean and modern. It did have a refrigerator but unfortunately no microwave but the restaurantwill heat your food for you. The bed was actually quite comfortable and the room 336 was very quiet. We got up every morning and went to breakfast which was a buffet which had all of the traditional Caribbean dishes to include but not limited to callaloo, Ackee& saltfish, dumplings, etc. They also have the traditional bacon and pancakes if you ask for them. The Cabana pool was EXTREMELY nice and I must say it was not packed the whole week we were there so we were able to enjoy the 4 covered Cabana beds and 6 uncovered cabana beds that was a plus. Now there is a bar at the Cabana pool but you do have to frequently find a server. They do have a restaurant a cafe and a miniature bar lounge but never utilized those services. But the gym is nicely equipped and that is a plus that is open 24 hours. Overall, I would definitely stay again and will recommend to my fellow friends and family

Being that is was my first time staying at The Spanish Court Hotel I can definitely say it was a cozy experience! I truly appreciate the hospitality my family and I was shown. It was welcoming and very much appreciated! The decorations and the little placements of Jamaicas history and art around the hotel caught my eyes and were very fascinating as well ! I want to thank Danielle for not only making sure that our stay was comfortable but also she was ready and willing to accommodate us! Thank you so much you and the staff are very appreciated!
