My favorite lounge or meeting spot with loved ones. Ample seating and you can grab a bite at the 24 Seven Cafe. Friendly staff. Beatiful grounds and lovely new pool. Well kept rooms with city views.

Located centrally and suited for the business traveler. Close to emancipation Park and most amenities, the hotel boasts ample parking, it's safe and convenient. A lot of food options from the main restaurant as well as a 24 7 Cafe - that's the name as well. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, and staff friendly and efficient. Perfectly suited for business and vacation travelers.

This is a business/event hotel. It was fairly clean. The room was a bit worn with cigarette holes in the chair. The balcony was big and had a nice view. The hot water was warm (not fully hot) and the air con made loud rattling noises. Front desk was good and efficient. There were many weddings and special events. The breakfast buffet was fair/limited and service was a challenge for the staff. Getting coffee was a challenge. Service in the bar was kind but not quick. The pool is under construction and not usable (Oct. 2022). The hotel was safe and secure.

My visit here was purely business, but I will say it was superb nonetheless👌. The staff was incredibly accommodating. The rooms were the coziest. The team worked accidiously to ensure the lounge was properly set up for our function, and it was a blast. Thank you, Pegasus, for never disappointing!

My wife and I had our flight cancelled and were waiting at Norman Manley. After hours of waiting we decided to look for a hotel. Because Carnival was going on we found it difficult to find a hotel with availability. After calling the Pegasus I spoke to Renee and she was able to reserve a room. When we arrived we were very impressed with the room and amenities. The pool area was very relaxing and the food was excellent. Most of all I was very happy with the customer service. We will be returning.

The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel is old and very dated. My family was very, very disappointed. The room and bed were very small. One bedside lamp did not work. Nothing was done, even after informing the security man who brought us to our room. The water was cold. We had to wait for a long time to get warm water ( not hot water) to shower. My pillow was most uncomfortable and I did not rest well. The pillow felt like it was stuffed with cloth. Honestly, the Pegasus needs a complete renovation. Management needs to “smell the coffee” that it is 21st century now ! The staff was great and I felt safe but I would NOT waste my money to stay at this hotel, again.

Overall it's good but they need to do better in catering for all persons who visit their hotel. The breakfast was bland and lacks variety. Eggs should be with a live station based on people's preferences, for Caribbean people we need our veggies in our eggs, the food was made for North American and European cuisine, not even a banana as a fruit.

I went to inquire about the cost to host a specific event and waited for almost an hour for someone to assist me! The receptionist at the front desk didn't even have the decency to tell me to hold on 10 to 15 minutes! I had to remind her to get the person for me and that I am still waiting. Very poor customer service! Other staff just walked by without even acknowledging us as potential clients. I did not get through because I could not wait any longer. It was ridiculous and no one offered an apology. If they deal with people like that I dont trust them to properly host an event there.

I stayed overnight as I attended an event in one of their ballrooms, Was really disappointed with our stay, was charged an extra $50 for having another person stay even though I booked a double bed room. The rooms were dated absolutely needed updating. I was on the second floor with the worst view. Great location, everything else was extremely dated.

Prestigious hotel in the center of New Kingston with nice view to the port as long You get a room at the south side and high enough. Excellent breakfast, food and dining options including pool bar and bar. The outdoor pool is impressive and has a lot of space around to lay in a chair and relax. Staff very friendly and always ready to assist. The rooms are OK and clean; however, I would expect more for this price. Especially that plastic windows and frames are not a good barrier against the noise from the streets.

Came to meet you with friends. There was a big event so parking was scarce. Parking attendant was not very communicative but the location is in a desirable area. NCB, lounge and cafe was very lively. Great views and conference rooms

I coordinated a corporate event here in October, and have coordinated many corporate events throughout the Caribbean. The staff here at Pegasus made our event exceptional. From beginning to end, every staff interaction they went above and beyond expectations. They took care of things promptly and made sure we always had everything we needed. Every staff member had a smile on their face and were very helpful. Audrey Miller in the business centre/gift shop especially was very helpful to me, as I was in there frequently printing last minute stuff. We also had a breakfast event for 200+ people and it went flawlessly from creating the environment to incredible food that was consistent. I would absolutely book another event at Pegasus the next time we are in Jamaica.

I cannot comment re the room as I attended brunch. Parking was adequate and we were greeted by their friendly and courteous staff. The food was really good and I enjoyed the availability and choices.

It’s the first time I have stayed at the Pegasus Hotel. I enjoyed my stay there. Professional staff. The food is great. Security excellent. I felt like I was in my own home. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Jamaica.

This is an older property. In fact, I consider it to be a gem. They have renovated and updated the hotel, but some rooms may be a miss. Currently, the pool is under construction, and I look forward to the improved space. But the hotel does continue to deliver good food options, like did I mention free breakfast. Great bar vibes with crafted cocktails and an excellent wine list. And a sprawling lobby, perfect for chilling island style

Went to the 24/7 Cafe and it was a good experience. It was conducive to collaborative work. I only remove a star because the service time was long and the noise level was a bit high. Nevertheless, the staff was pleasant and courteous.

Beautiful place with comfy work friendly rooms that overlook the neighboring buildings. There’s a golf course and garden with lovely swings, conference rooms, gift shops and dining areas. This is great for business meetings and also a relaxing get away. There are different cuisines with interesting bouquet packages. I enjoyed my stays here.

Lovely place if you need to come to Kingston for work. The amenities are all really good and the breakfast service is stellar. Marcia has been an absolute gem (for the past 5 years of my trips there) and would highly recommend this to all business travelers.

My two week stay at the Pegasus was generally quite good. The hotel is well situated near shopping and restaurants and is quite secure. The outdoor pool and bar was an ideal spot for a drink and small bites at night. My room was spacious and comfortable. No problems with the internet or cleanliness. Recommended for tourism or business guests.

Best hotel in Kingston hands-down nothing even comes close with staff that is quite possibly the highest quality staff in the entire country. Staff Treats people like kings and queens. The breakfast servers are the sweetest and most genuinely nice people. Lovely views, clean sheets and a legendary pool. The Pegasus is a true treasure.

Maybe the place was nice in the 80s. Check in took 45 minutes (and there was no line). Our room had literally no running water. Were not comped anything for it, and took another 30 minutes to get us another room (with no ac). Above market prices. And they clean (and close) the pool on weekends. Joke is in you if you stay here.

The 24hr cafe at Pegasus is a good place to go if you need a quick midnight snack or something to fill your hunger pangs after the end of a long work night or a late flight. They have sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and dessert items.

To be honest for I Kingston Hotel it's great. Service was very nice. The only reason I'm not still there is because it's not all inclusive! The food was always very decent.

The blue view restaurant service has very poor service. No rolls with soup . No steak no lamb . Food took over and hour to prepare. Soup was too salty. Do not recommend to eat there. There were hardly less than 15 people on the restaurant and over an hour wait for the dinner to arrive .

Pretty much what you'd expect from an hotel, a few places within the building to get food, drinks and souvenir. Limited parking, Not very close to any good beaches for all the beach lovers. They have a pool though.

Right in the city of Kingston. Good sized bedrooms. Delicious breakfast buffet, with a lot of different options. Fish, meat, bread, cakes, fruits ,cereals. Nice pool and bar area. There are w tennis courts. Rooms were cleaned every day. There's also a laundry room and a gym.

The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas the lobby area was perfect. The rooms are decent size, breakfast hosts a variety of overseas and local choices. The outdoor pool is a good size and overall appearance 3.5 out of 5. Common areas were clean and the location is central to maneuver in Kingston. You can site see, a bank, gas station, mini craft store and island grill are within walking distance.

It was my second visit to Kingston everyone I know from Jamaica see this hotel as a major staple in the city I think they can improve on their food at breakfast and they really need to take a look at the process of cleaning the rooms the cleaning of the room really needs to be overhauled but otherwise it was a nice place

This place has aged and has seen better days. Do not, I repeat do not host any functions there. Hard pass for me. If you're in Kingston on business and need somewhere to sleep, that's it, nothing else

Went here for brunch with a friend, the vibe always gives what it's supposed to but the food was subpar lol serving size is small and DO NOT have the teriyaki bowl unless you like the flavor of microwave meals. Oh and the prices are on the higher end

We spent 8 nights. The weather was perfect, that which we have no control over, the room was comfortable- cleaning service daily with clean towels each day, security and parking attendants add to the level of comfort. I enjoyed the walking trail, really nice for those who like to walk as part of their exercise routine or simply stroll. The staffing adequate and provided warm, pleasant, and prompt service. We had a wonderful time. Definitely be back soon.

I really enjoyed my stay. Front desk staff, restaurant, as well as doorman and housekeeping were all very helpful and friendly. Covid protocol strictly enforced. I always looked forward to the morning breakfast. Traditional Jamaican food being served. I would definitely return especially during the holidays!

Over the years the aesthetics of "The Pegs" has been maintained immaculately. Unfortunately I've found that the food has not. I visited for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas Luncheon at The Blue Window and found that while the staff were very attentive as usual, the food was nothing to write home about.

The Hotel always been good over the years. The staff friendly and helpful. Nice clean spacious rooms, excellent breakfast and patio. But why does the food taste different on each visit? I thought I had the best curried Goat with rice on one of my trips and the next time ordered the same and both the taste and the even the presentation were different!

The front desk staff were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Tamara worked to get a room since I arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time. The staff at 24 Seven Cafe were exceptionally helpful both day and night, especially when we were on the road for hours and needed something to eat. The room was a bit disappointing, especially since we have grown accustomed to certain type of accommodation here. Overall, we had a good time and will be back soon. Thank you one and all.

This is a really nice hotel. The food is really good too. I really appreciate the added security feature of your key being required to operate the elevator, that way nobody who doesn't belong can get unto the floors where guests are staying!

Overall the entire experience was pleasant. They go the extra mile to deliver excellent service quality, which for me is essential to my overall experience. I would highly recommend the Pegasus Hotel for its central location and long standing reputation for excellence. It is important to recognise companies who are committed to excellence and these guys, certainly are geared to that pursuit. Good Job!

I was graciously enough to have had a business meeting at the hotel. Clean enterance , polite staff , good food. I was not staying over however from my brief interaction with the hotel atmosphere I don't believe the stay would be any less of an experience.

The hotel is fine, located in the heart of New Kingston. It is close to most amenities, a park, shopping center and entertainment venue. Food is good

  • 1/5 lisa m. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel looks nice however there are small issues that accumulate to cause you not to have the most pleasant time. The room service is e exceptionally SLOW and by the time you receive food it is just about warm and almost cold, that is very disappointing. They run out of food at breakfast far too quickly and should change their breakfast time if there is not going to be food left in the last hour (9-10 if breakfast is between 7-10). I have stayed at hotels where the service is exceptional, they never run out of food and cause you to eat the last scraps and for Pegasus to be one of the popular hotels in Kingston this is a big disappointment. The check in time is far too long to complete compared to other hotels but most importantly the service with the food is most disappointing. Paying for bed and breakfast, the breakfast buffet is no where near as good as paying for the a la carte.

Brings back memories, a boujee place that stands for its name, with a pool, in based restaurant, an eye catching lobby and a nice view of emancipation park (if your in the right room) it's a lovely hotel inn to experience the "posh" side of the country. An amazing menu with many styles to choose from the restaurant inside alone could have a name for itself. Rooms start very decent and goes up in luxury as you ascend rooms there. Although in comparison to other hotels it is craaazzyy expensive, but don't let that stop you from enjoying your time.

I tried the Blue Window Restuarant Sunday Brunch buffet, I am beyond pleased, the food selection was awesome 👌 and everything on the buffet line was good. It was my mom's birthday and the server Charlie made it super special. I haven't received such superb customer service in a long time.

I've never stayed here, so I can't speak of the rooms but I went here the other day for brunch downstairs. My friend and I were greeted by a pleasant hostess who sat us down immediately. We actually wanted another table, but it needed to be cleared. Seems like they were short staffed that day because the table took forever to be cleared, so we just sat where we were. I found the options a bit limiting for a brunch. There were local options as well as continental options. The food was okay (I really enjoyed the stewed chicken!) Staff was pleasant, those clearing the table and those offering juice or coffee/tea. Reasonably priced for the options available. Would go back.

I didn't stay at this hotel, so can't give a review on the rooms, I attended an event in the main ballroom. Parking was a bit co fusing upon entry so I drove to the main drop off area to get some instructions as no visible signs were placed to direct me to parking, unless I really missed them in the night upon entry. It was a long wait to get to the lobby drop off area, as 2 small juta bus was parked at the entrance to drop off guests, which took what seem to be forever, for me who just wanted to park, that was very inconvenient, and seeing it'd a one way, I had to wait in line just to drive pass, there is space there to accommodate drop off and drive through but no attention was paid to such. Coming back out of the parking lot was the next issue if you just wish to pickup from the lobby, you would need to exit the property then re enter to gain access as again its a one way. The lobby space is quite clean and okay as you work expect of most hotels, the staff was friendly. There is a nurse available if you or any of your guests don't feel so well (some person had pineapple allergy and was not aware it was in the pork they had as it was not listed there) but the nurse helped and even came down to check on other attendees who did not have a reaction but has known pineapple allergy as well. So this is a big positive to know the nurse is available even if you are not a room guest. The ballroom was very spacious and clean. If you wish to host an event you will have to do all the setup yourselves. The food, it was not the best. Creme of pumpkin was more water and salt with a hint of pumpkin, the mixed potato salad with smoked marlin wasn't the best, however the fish I had was okay, could have been more flavourful but thankfully it wasn't salty, it was okay. The rice and market vegetable salad were the best part and of course the juice, which is bottled juice of course. All in all I did enjoy the event, but the parking and catering need some work, (I am vegetarian so can't judge the chicken and other meats, I only eat fish) but persons who had them said they were okay, nothing to write home about.

It is a very great Hotel. They always have adequate parking and it is located right there in the middle of New Kingston which is very nice. There is all kinds of shopping and restaurants all around and a nice park close by. The gym and pool are also very nice. From the moment you enter the Hotel to the moment you drive away it is nothing but the best service. The workers also maintain their distance though and let you have some privacy so they are not to forward. The rooms are nice and you have good views. They aren't to fancy on the lower levels but they do provide you with all necessary things. Would stay there again.

Noted airline crews stay here. Pros: neighborhood safe in daytime Great pool with bar that serves food Clean, well known hotel 24 hour restaurant Free served buffet breakfast Well stocked gift shop Comfortable room with fridge and great TV Good AC, and windows actually open, enjoyed pool/ city skyline view Cons: Not much else in neighborhood except a park, jerk restaurant and ice cream stand A bit OVER serious about masks at outdoor pool while waiting for a drink Food took an hour at pool, only 1 employee working bar, no food runners. Some confusion at check in, lost reservation, broken printer, and Several credit card machines not working on property, so you have to pay cash Gift shop closes at 4, the pool at 5. Longer hours would be nice Lobby “blend” bar too dark, we avoided It. Maybe if we had a flashlight. Talk of the town closed. No ice machines noted. Spa seems to have no customers. Front desk out of pens! They will sell you one in gift shop with logo on it. So they weren’t really out, just wanted to sell them.

  • 5/5 Jules E. 2 years ago on Google
Visitrd the blend bar with my girls who were looking for sophistication, mixed with relaxation, we found it! The service was great and the vibe was just right. Food was good, drinks were on point and the prices turned out not half bad at all. A great night, looking forward to our next visit.

Nothing good about this place. Food is meh and service can be very slow. Masks required still in restaurant but no where else on property, because SCIENCE 😂😂🤣🤣. Gym is dated and not very clean. Rooms are pretty much the same. Not sure what other options are around but I’d find something else.

The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel is the place to stay for me when I'm in Kingston. The rooms are spacious and room service and hospitality is very effecient. I do my nails at the spa and I'm always pleased. But most of all I enjoy the meals, breakfast is always a treat. The dining room staff is the best! I recommend The Jamaica Pegasus anytime.

  • 3/5 Ruel D. 2 years ago on Google
Overall, I had a good or okay experience with the Pegasus hotel; front staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were just OK for me. The room was wonderful, clean. Why I gave a 3 is because the whole dining experience was terrible, from the staff lack of professionalism to the food that was not authentic Jamaican cuisine. 😐

First time in Jamaica, we stayed hear. Lovely place. Right from the reception area, there was nonstop flow of reggae music. How else would you have know where you were. It took a while to get our rooms sorted, but that was because we had a few others joining at the last minute. Food was good too. Friendly staff.

Beautiful 😍 new kingston. Pegasus is located across the street from Emancipation Park and close to lots of hotels and shops. Restaurants and vendors located close by. Extremely busy street, lots of traffic in this area. In walking distance to mall, shops, restaurants, gas station and much more.
