I was lucky enough to get to stay in two rooms with 2 very differnt experiences. The first room had a great AC and water temperature. It was the secondary building. The down side was it was very loud at night there. My room door messed up half way and they were very kind to move me and upgrade me. This is were things flip a little. I was in a 1 bedroom suite and the main room Ac was great but the room AC did not work even after I told front desk it would not get below 22C. And the shower would not get real hot. It was not cold jut not hot. I would pay the difference for the 1 bedroom if your going to be there very long

I'll touch on different things below: This hotel is a bit dated in terms of the rooms, but it still has it's charm and it is comfortable. They don't have a heater in the room even though the thermostat has the option for it. They only have A/C and if you want a warmer room, you have to crack open the balcony door if you have one. The water pressure in the shower is mediocre and only gets lukewarm, but it's decent. Only a few - around 5-6 - hangers are provided, so consider bringing travel hangers if you have a longer stay and want to hang your clothes. They do have a laundry room on-site, which you can take advantage of by purchasing tokens at the front desk. During my stay, they provided you with powder detergent to use included with your purchase. They have a gym on site with Life Fitness equipment that you can take advantage of. They provide cleaning spray and water.

I had such a marvelous time of my life when I went to Jamaica for the first time during Carnival, I stayed at Courtleigh Hotel and Suite way up in the penthouse and enjoyed the Carnival parade from the 10th floor balcony , it was so awesome. And my room was so cozy and tranquil I slept like a baby. It was so perfect

Food was excellent. Environment clean and decor was great. Service seemed a little slow as staff started serving perhaps 10 minutes after our party indicated we were ready but once they begun everything was smooth.

We got in after a 10 hour flight with 2 children and were basically unwelcomed by horrible front desk, these ladies work in hospitality they should be warm and welcoming. The room had a crazy noise the whole night, I called in to get it checked out they come once and said they would return to fix the problem but never did. The breakfast was nice and the gentleman that served us dinner was great. The room was a good size but unfortunately didn't enjoy it becouse of the noise. Junior suite

This is an amazing experience! The pool was entertaining, the rooms banned bugs! However, the disadvantage is that I saw flies.

Stayed for two days when I was in Kingston for UWI meetings. Excellent staff at the front desk who helped in checkin, break large USD bills to smaller ones and other recommendations for food. Also got upgraded to King suite which was great.

Quite and secluded. Definitely a get away if you don't want to be seen. The place was upgraded some time ago. So there are a few modern amenities. But it still has that cute charm. Plenty of places for a photo opt. The staff is extremely pleasant and courteous, right down to the security in the parking lot. The food is not for me. But the strawberry cheesecake is a win.

I usually stay at this Hotel on a average twice per month. Patrick at the Pool bar delivers excellent service. However, I do not think I will stay at this hotel ever again after my husband's experince today.

It is in a great location. Walking distance to a lot of food establishments. That was the highlight of this hotel. The restaurant at Courtleigh is mediocre. Rooms was also ok. They only friendly staff was at the front desk. It was an ok stay

Rooms were clean and amazing, service was outstanding. Location was good but not much within walking distance, and if you are not from or familiar with Kingston, then get a cab. The front desk is very helpful to find you a cab or the info that you need. There is a restaurant and bar on site so you may not need to go anywhere else. But if you like to roam, you'll need cab fare. (they all accept American Dollars)

My Taste Buds and I had a terrific stay at Courtleigh Hotel & Suites. Nestled in the heart of New Kingston Jamaica. It's minutes away from everything and everywhere in downtown Kingston. It is ŵithin 30 mins of the airport. Every morning, my Taste Buds and I woke and took a stroll down to the restaurant where a delicious spread of fruit, cereals, pastries, and a buffet style Jamaican breakfast greeted us. From the eggs to salted mackrel, toast to the boiled flour dumplings, green banana, and yellow yam, each item was done to perfection and there was something new and tasty to eat each and every morning. No matter how early we got there, the servers were beyond pleasant and accommodating! THE POOL: My Taste Buds and I spent a few hours a day just lounging by the sun warmed pool. Our bedroom provided adequate space and place for nightly rest. Overall, it's a great place. My Taste Buds and I will definitely choose this location again. As always, we try it, we share it, and you get to decide.

Recently I started to stay at Courtleigh only whenever I’m in Kingston . I have tried every single hotel in the city ; even though Courtleigh is not the newest one, it is definitely the best one for me . It really makes feel like at home . There is a very personal and intimate atmosphere . The personal is very friendly and the service is outstanding. The pool area is very clean and the restaurant has good lunch and dinner options . Cons : - breakfast choices are very limited - some rooms need some furniture replacement or renovation - the rooms located in the adjustment building are very noisy due to the proximity to the road and outdated

The meeting room was spacious, the convenience and comfort to discuss matters on the Agenda whilst having our coffee break. Also the convenience of being served lunch seated. The service was excellent and I do recommend.

Second time staying at this hotel and my experience this go around left much to be desired. The hotel needs much needed repairs. But most of all, It seems the hotel is under new management now which is unfortunate since the previous management was outstanding. Check in was a hassle and many mistake were made which caused check out to be just as contrary. Checkin staff seems oblivious, did not seem experienced at all with the in and out of this routine. I did enjoy the food staff, they were kind but seemed to be overworked and micromanaged. Overall ended up checking out early and going else where. Will not be visiting here again anytime soon. Could not in good confidence recommend this place to anyone.

As mentioned in reviews by other guests: Check in was a hassle, and many mistakes were made. Front desk staff were friendly with the exception of one staff- she was very unpleasant and clearly lacks customer service skills. We reserved two rooms, one room with a queen bed, and one room with double beds, both rooms had queen beds, as a result, they had to bring a rollaway bed to our room or we had the option of sleeping on the sofa bed. Disappointing, however the way front desk handled the situation was deplorable. I'm thankful to management for intervening and offering solutions. Aside from the checkin experience, overall, I was happy with room cleanliness and the buffet breakfast was ok. I "may" return in future. Front desk customer service needs improvement.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any place. They compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be let down. Went for lunch and it was awesome.... Everything was really good. The restaurant and service is excellent!

Made me change rooms in the middle of my stay, due to them not being able to correctly assign rooms. Had already fully unpacked and stayed for multiple nights before the demand was made. Poor service

Thanks to the Courtleigh Hotel and Suites for an amazing Christmas dinner. From the moment I drove in to collect, the service, presentation of the food, the quality, was A-class. So happy I ordered this year. God willing I will do the same next Christmas. Highly recommended

Not a bad spot for a Saturday stop. The outdoor bar and eating area is very comfortable. The staff professional and friendly. The maintenance of the large towering trees on this property adds to the feeling of well being.

I went there for a baby shower. The aesthetics were good; very nice set up and the room was spacious. The food was good especially the jerked pork and stamp and go (with the sauce👊). Also, the staff was friendly.

The pool bar had a nice quiet setting. Ambiance and vibes were suitable for a first date or after work parr. However, drinks are pricey, quoted in USD and small in portion. Had to ask the bartender if the amount served was the correct portion size?

Really excellent service. Had some issues with the room door but was always quickly resolved. Hotel has pool, restaurant and bar on site. Location is central in New Kingston and right next to Emancipation Park. Huge thanks to the staff there that catered to us and went above and beyond during our stay. Room was very clean, well stocked and very large - perfect for a business trip.

I absolutely loved this place. They don’t Americanize their menu for tourist !!! They’re staff is kind but lack knowledge on how to expedite an early check in && the views of each room. In addition they received 3 stars because the hallways are small and the finishes need an upgrade. Otherwise love this place
