Thank you Karen for arranging and hosting a most fantastic tour of Kingston for my wife and I, we had a fabulous day touring Kingstons main (music) attractions. We would both recommend you to anyone looking for a tour whilst in Kingston. Look forward to seeing you again.

This was my favorite tour in Kingston! Karen was very awesome and pleasant to spend time with and was knowledgeable about everything. She was also very kind to respond to any questions we had about Kingston. Of course, the foods were AMAZING! We wished we had extra stomach. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone.

An excellent choice. I took a couple of tours with Karen: Jamaican Music History Tour of Kingston and Blue Mountain Path Finder. Both were amazin, a very good opportunity to learn about the culture of Jamaica. Highly recommended.

Our Kingston tour was wonderful. Karen was exceptional setting up our day. As a parent of two children and the son of Jamaican parents, I thought it was important to see family and learn about “our people” before going to the resorts in Negril. This tour took us to a variety of places like Emancipation Park and the Bob Marley museum, but our driver, Michael, went out of his way to turn down a few streets to show us more authentic Jamaican culture.around Kingston while we went to the different locations on the tour. Very educational, inspirational and fun. BTW… the patties and Ice cream at Devon House!!! That’s all I have to say. Don’t skip it. -Ron, NJ

I learned so much about Jamaica's history, culture, heroes, and the evolution of music. My tour was great! Courtney is such a great guide and overall wonderful person. I will definitely be using this group whenever I'm back to Kingston! Thank you Karen, Courtney and Marlon!

From the moment I first contacted Karen she looked after every request and arranged a private tour with a personal itinerary and was always available, friendly and extremely helpful. I really can't recommend this company enough, this is real, raw, authentic Downtown Kingston, not for the faint hearted but I loved every minute of it. Courtney Beat St was my guide and he was excellent, really took care of us, was fun, very courteous and knowledgeable about the area, nuff respect mi Genna! Marlon was an excellent driver with an immaculate vehicle, the air con was a welcome relief from the hot Kingston sun, manners and respect everytime! Finally to the good people of Trench Town, I walked around the area with the locals and always felt very safe even though some foolish people say not to visit. As I approached the corner of First Street, a group of men sat on the corner and I smiled, as they returned the smile one said to me 'You're very welcome here!' Nuff said!! What are you waiting for, give Jamaica Cultural Enterprises a call and say Bellyman told you too, you won't regret it!

It was an amazing tour with Courtney. I enjoyed this cultural tour that was adapted according my wishes: Bob Marley Museum, Devon House, Downtown and Trenchtown. It is my second tour with them and I highly recommend them.

I had the chance to do the Blue Mountain Coffee Tour while in Kingston early March. The experience was amazing, and Karen was a great tour guide. We were picked up at our hostel in New Kingston on time, and had a wonderful ride through town, and up to the coffee estate in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. Karen was helpful in pointing out local foliage and wildlife, as well as giving the history of places we drove past. Arriving to the estate slightly earlier than the rest of the tour, Karen was kind enough to show us around the property, and the the back story of the estate and it's coffee production. The tour included a coffee tasting to start, and a briefing on the beans, farming procedures, exportation, and cultural history. After this, we were guided up the mountain trail, making several stops along the way. The gentleman leading this portion of the tour was very knowledgeable about the farming practices in place, the cultivation of specific coffee species, and the history of the estates owner. After reaching the top of the estate, we were able to see several workers clearing banana leaves for the next crop. At the end, we were able to purchase coffee from the estate (which is only available there, and in Japan), and to wonder around the property a little more, before Karen drove us back to our hostel in New Kingston. The experience was amazing, and I would highly, highly recommend it when you have the opportunity.

The tour was amazing!!! We did the art tour in the morning with Courtney which was honestly 100% better than I expected!! For every mural Courtney hat a song and a story! Than Caren picked us up and we went to the blue mountains, the view was breathtaking, the nature, the flowers, everything! The feeling of peace when you’re on the balcony drinking the blue mountain coffee is worth every moment you spend sweating Karen and Courtney gave me all the information about everything, to be honest, the stopped for pictures, helped me with everything I needed. They’re funny, knowledgeable and the tour is worth every penny! 10/10 and much much better than I could ever expect! Highly recommended to everyone

We were a group of 3 couples, with one full day to spend in Kingston. This tour looked like the perfect solution for us and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The arrangements ran very smoothly with the booking process and a couple of follow up emails confirming the exact timing and pick up details. These were reconfirmed 24 hours before the tour and on the morning we received a couple of WhatsApp messages to say that they were on their way - and then that they had arrived. Courtney, our tour guide was great. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, fun … and a great poet. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him. The visit to the Bob Marley Museum was definitely the highlight. We were there for over 2 hours and really enjoyed it. The other features of the tour were also interesting - particularly the street art. All in all, a great day and if you only have limited time in Kingston, a great way to ‘do the city’.

I highly recommend this tour. The diver snd the tour guide collected us promptly from where we were staying in Kingston. They were both very pleasant and experienced with substantial knowledge of the tour areas. This tour was well worth booking. Bob Markey’s home and museum was very informative and educational. The downtown Kingston Orange Street and street Art in the Water Lane areas should not be missed. What a wonderful experience. After visiting Trench Town, just need more. Wonderful informative inspirational tour. I am very glad that I booked this. Will book other tours with this service on my next visit.

I was fortunate to book a tour of Kingston with Jamaica Cultural Enterprises on my first day in Jamaica, which was a real blessing. Karen was so kind and knowledgeable and my stay ended up so much more meaningful as a result. She even gave me a free ticket to the Bob Marley 75th Birthday concert that took place the next day! Thank you!!

Great tour with Karen from Jamaica Cultural. The visit to the farm was instructive and the tasting of the coffee hmmmm delicious. I recommend this agency because a lot of emphasis is placed on the culture of the country. It's not just a ride in the mountains, it's learning a little more about the country.

My fiance and I were looking for a reasonable tour that would take us into the Blue Mountains, as well as a coffee plantation tour. Karen is knowledgeable and provides information about the area from the moment you step into the vehicle. She was pleasant and professional and really made sure that we enjoyed our time at the Creighton estate. Would definitely recommend Jamaica Cultural Tours to anyone looking to learn more about Jamaican history and culture.

My daughter and I had the opportunity to go on a tour of Kingston with Jamaica Cultural Tours. The tour was a great learning experience and was jam packed with wonderful and interesting information. Our tour guide Karen was a plethora of information and very knowledgeable on the rich history of the city of Kingston. The fact that she was also very warm and accommodating was a pleasant bonus! If you are interested in a detailed tour of Kingston, Jamaica Cultural Tours is definitely the way to go!

Karen is without doubt one of the best trip guides in Jamaica. I know a little bit about the economics of plantation economies having studied it under one of the foremost US Caribbean economic scholars in the US. My professor at one point, taught and researched at the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies in Kingston. My wife and I have been in Jamaica more than 20 times and have taken five trips to Kingston. I have also read extensively on Jamaican history as we go at least once a year. Suzzette and I have been to the Appleton Estate rum distillery when we were in Negril, have been to Port Antonio on the far eastern point on the north part of the island, and been to Nine Mile, the birth place of Bob Marley. We have been all over Jamaica. We rarely confine ourselves to a resort when we have more than 8-10 days. By far, our trips with Karen as our guide, have given us some of our most enjoyable memories. We have been to the Jamaican National Art Gallery twice. The first was with a driver based out of St. Ann. It was OK. After about 20 trips to Jamaica, we decided to fly into Kingston and stay at the Spanish Court. From there, we met up with Karen. The second trip to the art gallery was by far much more informative. Karen really knows Jamaican art and the history behind it. In addition, we traveled to the Trench Town Cultural Center, visited the National Heroes Park, as well as Emancipation Park. In each instance, Karen was able to fill us in on so much detail. There is no question that she cannot answer, and asks good questions as well. What a tremendous interaction! She also took us up to Strawberry Hill, which overlooks Kingston Bay from the Blue Mountains and arranged to get us coffee from Creighton Estate - much better than the average Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee sold at the stores or in resorts in Jamaica. (We had toured the coffee farm on a previous trip). Obviously, Karen can take you to all the Bob Marley sites in Kingston if you want. The Trench Town Culture Center is just one of those. If you need a guide to the culture, art, or history of Jamaica, please do yourself a favor and give Karen a call. We were going to meet up with her again this July and make a trip to Morant Bay east of Kingston, the site of the Morant Bay Rebellion. The pandemic has made this questionable. Once we are past this virus, we will reschedule, fly into Kingston, and meet up with Karen. We still want to go to Morant Bay. My wife and I highly recommend Karen as tourist guide. She will open Jamaica to you with her insights, knowledge, and wit. Karl and Suzzette

Jamaica Cultural Enterprises (JCE) is a professional, customer-focused, local tourism business that I highly recommend if you are planning a group tour experience in Jamaica. I utilized the services of JCE for a George Mason University Cultural Tourism study abroad class to Kingston and Montego Bay in 2019. I worked closely with JCE's CEO, Karen Hutchinson, to plan and execute the details of class tour. As a tourism professor, I valued JCP's attention to detail and the suggestions to further enhance the student's academic and cultural experiences on the island. I will definitely use JCP's services for my next cultural tour to Jamaica!

Wanted to get to the Blue Mountains w/o driving myself. Looked up Blue Mountain Bicycle Tours but cost was prohibitive ($402 for 2 people in Kingston). Found this tour for $140 for 2 people in Kingston; extremely pleased. Met Karen at Emancipation Park and enjoyed the ride up the mountain along with the tour of Craighton Estate and its grounds. My wife said this was her favorite part of our two-week itinerary spanning Negril, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and Kingston. Learned about coffee and local wildlife and politics. Karen was an ideal guide and was happy to drop us off anywhere in Kingston after the tour. Would definitely recommend! (tour date March 2020)
