Quality has always been consistent. Meat portions never disappoint. Had the Special Chop Suey with Noodles on the lunch menu….DIVINE!

The waiters here are mostly warm, accommodating, knowledgeable of the menu and pleasant. You may dine or take out. This a great place for large groups of people to dine. I find that it attracts a lot of families with young children. There are large round tables here to facilitate this. There were no high hairs for children here but the waiter improvised by stacking two chairs to accommodate my 3 year son. The food was flavorful, more than adequate and it was delicious. I certainly recommend this restaurant as a place for families and friends to commune and eat.

Good food, okay service. Entrees took a while but it was about 30 of us in their private room so the length of wait was understandable. We were able to decorate the room to our choosing and bring in our cakes for our family occasion.

Taurus should never be visited on special occasions of national or international significance.... Not only were we told that our reservation made several days in advance wasn't going to be honored, which turned out not to be true, we were seated at a table and waited for over an hour to be tended to; only to be asked to move to a different table to accommodate some other group. This new table wasn't even cleaned for us... I had to be adamant that it be cleaned and sanitized, which was clearly a bother to the the managing staff. The dirty napkins from the previous users were even still under the table at our feet. Eventually a waiter came and took our orders - he may have saved the evening, because after initially telling us items we wanted weren't available he made an effort to see what could be done for us and it was fruitful. It took us 3 hours from arrival to our orders being taken for us to get our meals - some of which came to us cold. Long and short of it, these restaurants don't do well under pressure. The reasonable thing to do for patrons is to go by a strict, properly spaced reservation-only policy on days like this - you don't stand to lose. Instead you risk losing customers permanently. The waiter got you your 1 star....

DO NOT GO HERE. The food is usually good, but the customer service is appalling. I've witnessed them openly mocking customers who (rightly) complain about the lengthy wait -- for eg, the manager rolled her eyes at an elderly man and sniped --"A nuh you one hungry ynuh Sir!", and sighing with irritation with customers who call in. Another example? My friend placed an order online and included the instructions to not mix the serving tongs with seafood as she was allergic. On picking up, instead of saying "Thanks for coming, enjoy your meal", the manager said "So you really think we don't know that already?? You think we don't know not to put the tongs in seafood??" My own experience came to a head a few weeks ago, when I received old, mushy, bad tasting food. I had placed the order online, and indicated the pick up time to avoid the food sitting down and becoming exactly as it ended up. When I brought this to the manager's attention, she snarked "Next time just call!" Even when I expressed outrage at being spoken to so rudely she dug down, refusing to apologize. A gentleman standing next to me during the exchange said his wife refuses to come inside the restaurant anymore because of the poor customer service, especially from that manager in particular. Yes, overall I have enjoyed their food, but enough is enough. They will never see another of my hard earned dollars again. Perhaps if enough of us do the same, they will respect us as customers.

Had a delightful lunch from their lunch special, the food was tasty, without being salty which can be a typical issue with some Chinese restaurants. Service was good, and the people were pleasant. If you need an option for Chinese food, this is one you can definitely go to.

We've been to this restaurant for family celebrations and have never been disappointed. The meals are delectable, staff pleasant and courteous and usually there is ample parking. It's defintely recommended based o location and the aforementioned characteristics.

I must say I was impressed with the menu! Spent nearly 30 mins trying to order something, it was THAT varied. I ordered the roasted chicken, curried chicken, and beef with broccoli. I went into the wonderland after that. IT was GOOD!

We reserved a room for 10 so that after my father's funeral the immediate family had somewhere to go and eat. I did not know this until the food arrived, but each order can serve between 8-12 people and everyone ordered something different. There is a glass turntable in the middle of the table so the food is brought and set on it and you spin the it and take portions of the food you want. Everyone ate from all the dishes and still had leftovers to take home. I had the wonton chicken corn soup as an appetizer which was a first for me. It was absolutely delicious and I added their pepper sauce to give it an additional kick. Every dish was great. I will definitely eat here again.

The food was delicious and seasoned well. Portions are great. Shrimp and broccoli delicious. The veggies steamed well. And I love the chicken wontons. Great for a snack. The waiter was nice and took care of us well.

The lemon chicken was not consistent; went and had it on November 14th and it was delicious...went back a week later and was grossly underwhelmed. Tasted like syrup with curry/ turmeric. The serving staff were exceptional (big up Joma for ensuring that i came back) and the ambiance was nice, but the chicken was a flop on the night of November 24, 2023.

This was the post graduation dinner for my beautiful niece. Food quality was good...huge servings. Our Server was not the best...could do with a little more training. Other than that we had a great time!

Taurus's problem is that they have decent but inconsistent food and no customer service. Your meal with be different every time you go, sometimes good, sometimes unpalatable and no recourse for that or attempt to remedy The lines are almost always out the door, with long wait times, even if you ordered hours ahead. There are no policies in place to mitigate the high volume environment: So the staff is always overwhelmed. If you ordered your food online, If you called in you order (assuming you were even able to get through), if you are just now walking in to place an order, it's all the same line. So expect long wait times. If you try to avoid the long wait times by using a delivery service, know that they refuse to package their meals for travel, which means spill is very likely. They do have a recommended delivery company, and they suffer the same affliction, good luck getting through. Last attempt the delivery number was turned off.

The food is good and the serving portion is generous. The staff are helpful and polite.

Great food. Friendly staff. They can get very busy and then the service decline. Not the best place to go to on a busy day. Think maybe they will have to consider upgrading their facilities to meet the demand more efficiently. Nonetheless, I think their food is worth the wait.

The food is always great. I generally order online and then pick up. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait if you go to pick it up too quickly. I suggest you wait at least 45 mintutes before going to pickup. The staff is polite and friendly.

The best and most affordable Chinese restaurant in Liguanae. The food is scrumptious and appealing as well as delicious. I love this place. Can I tell you how polite and welcoming the staff is when you visit. You must try the curry shrimp and the lo mein. Never disappointed since I've discovered here in 2017.

The lunch specials has increased to $800 jmd and you get a 3 compartment box instead of the plastic container. To get the plastic containers you have to buy from the menu or purchase from the cashier for $100 jmd. Customer service is A1, especially since i can call and pre-order and pick up in 20 mins. One of the best Chinese Restaurant in Kingston. Asian Receptionist/Cashier is extremely pleasant. Her customer service is very commendable. The food is good which is a bonus. The lunch hour rush is crazy busy so definitely order way ahead of time. Overall a nice place due once again to the Asian Receptionist/Cashier, her name escapes me at the moment.

The service and food were great! Both waiters were very patient and accommodating for our relatively large group and the food was brought out within good time. The variety of the menu is excellent and the portion size and quality of the food was great as well. My group was also able to secure a private room at a reasonable cost of $3000 JMD. I would definitely go back. Beware though, each "to-go" box costs $50, which our waiter neglected to tell us until it was too late. Additionally, my group was charged for a Cheesecake we didn't get....which we also didn't realize until it was too late.

Going anywhere during the COVID-19 pandemic can be low key anxiety filled. We opted for the default take out. We did not preorder, we wanted gluten free options, and we were using a gift certificate, so we knew we were going to be 'that' set of customers. We were greeted well and the lady at reception was very patient with us going through the options to help us decide on an appropriate fare. As other customers who had pre-ordered poured in, we would release her to sort them out and then she would come right back to continue with us. We were grateful for this and finally got our order in. The wait was reasonable and food was excellent! Not our first time at Taurus but was our first time being such picky eaters. We appreciated the patience!👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Generously portioned dishes that was very tastefully presented in elegant white and gold oversized dinner plates. The staff were all friendly. In observation of corona, each table was positioned in observing social distancing. The food was very tasty. My vegetables in my chop suey were quite fresh. Worth my second visit!

Can be a hit or miss. Food usually tastes really good and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The prices aren't too way over the top either but can be a hit or miss caz first couple times food was really awesome and then it was kinda ok. Also the discounted lunch menu tastes cheaper than the dinner or regular menu....if that makes any sense.

The ambience is calming and elegant and the customer service was great. I had sweet and sour chicken, lo mien and chicken fried rice. I enjoyed the experience with my boyfriend. It is not the best Chinese food in Kingston but it is definitely the place to go if you want a really good experience at an affordable price.

The food was okay, but I've had better Chinese food elsewhere. Overall, I'm not sure the food was worth the price...The service wasn't up to scratch because I think they were seriously understaffed and I was with a very large party. I was also quite annoyed that I dined the entire time without a drink of water... The restaurant also charges for doggie bags, which isn't something I'm accustomed to. It seems they waived the fees for my party, for which I was grateful... Online ordering is only for take out, according to the manager who spoke to us, but the website has a dine-in option.

Very, VERY friendly and funny customer service. It was a pleasure ordering and a pleasure watching them interact with the other customers. They definitely know how to interact with their customers and they get two thumbs up for that. 👍🏾👍🏾 The wait time for your food to come is ridiculous though. I waited almost an hour and I had ordered only two meals for lunch takeout and so it killed my lunch hour. My rating for service would have been much higher had it not been for the long wait time. A number of the takeout customers actually started fussing. The food is okay but I have had more flavorful Chinese at other restaurants. The atmosphere is like a typical Chinese restaurant. Average. Would I revisit? Yes, but I would have to order ahead to avoid the long wait time. Would I go out of my way to revisit? No.

Loved the sweet n sour chicken, the honey roast chicken was also very juicy and not dry. I say the honey in the gravy ans it was well seasoned. The sweet and sour was quite sweet in the way I like. The chicken fried rice could be better. The servings was good. Okay service but there is a bit of some waiting time for the meal.

I think I like the rustic Chinese feel which my wife agreed to(she has been to China so she knows)😌. We were surprised at the amount per serving when dining👀👀 definitely won't be ordering take out any time soon🤣🤣. It's worth the cost. The food was 😋😋😋😋 ... Kung poa chicken(had cashew) and sweet and sour pork served with white rice but can pay additional cost to get fried rice. I had a short experience because my son wasn't feeling well, so we had the rest of our meal packed(was neatly done) and we left. Will be setting another date to revisit...

Food is so delish. Every single time food is consistently delicious. My only small complaint would be, sometimes if you ask for spice level changed or something to be removed, say eggs or pork, even though person taking orders say yes, food will still come with the pork or spice level exactly the same.

I buy lunch here from time to time and have always enjoyed it. Always good value for money.

My wife and I have only recently started to go to Taurus Garden even though we go to Sovereign North a lot...we've clearly been missing out! We've eaten at Taurus Garden over 6 times now and each time it keeps on getting even better than the last. The Pork Wonton soup is amazing and our favorite there is the Chicken Cashew Nut meal...very flavorful and filling. The team there are very good and we enjoy how quickly the food arrives. Will be making this our go to Chinese restaurant for sure!
