Firstly I must say how comfortable the environment was. The background music is perfect while dining or drinking, not too loud to overpower your conversations. Good customer service too. However I wasn't pleased with my meal, I had the fish burger and it along with the fries was a little too bland for 'my' liking. Also, the burger was COLD 🥶 😒. Nonetheless, best Amaretto Sour in Kingston so far. I'd definitely recommend here as a spot to just relax with friends and drink.

I truly enjoyed the pasta. The chef really did his thing. Ask for it to be prepared with pepper if you like spicy. Great customer service too, the server seemed to understood her roll. I'll definitely return!

Great spot for some good music and food. One of my favorite spot to visit when I'm back home. Location is great and the set up of the location gives you an outdoor lounge area feel. Bar area gets crazy when the night heats up. Nice vibes!

Had a great time , drinks were awesome.

There's always a great vibe here. It's good to go at around 10pm but they close off by around 12/1am, so you could go earlier if you prefer to stay longer. I've never tried any of their cocktails though bcuz normally when I go around 10pm or later, they had already stopped serving cocktails. They don't have much lighting for taking nice pics though but if you travel with lighting, there are nice spots. All in all, it's one of the best spots to go dancing and drinking with your friends. I think you could meet a nice guy or gal here too 😉

What a lovely little find, a little sanctuary, great atmosphere, fantastic food and wonderful service. I had fried chicken with rice and peas, chicken was crispy, rice and peas was on point - no skimping on coconut - and it was hot and fresh. Also had a taste of the jerk pork, which was not done like it is in Boston, but was tender, succulent...with a side dip of jerk sauce, delicious. Definitely recommend.

Janga's Soundbar is everything you are looking for in a an entertainment spot. It has the best DJs providing the music, excellent customer service, the food is amazing and the drinks never stop flowing. Anytime you're in town aka Kingston I advise that you pass through especially on Friday or Saturday because the vibes is everything. Oh and go early to secure your spot and enjoy the niceness!

Went here for drinks. The service was good our bartender was attentive(I think his name was scotty). They had a Dj who did a wonderful job at playing music. I had the jerk chicken pasta to go and the box was mad heavy, it easily could share for two people. Overall a nice experience and the prices were reasonable.

Decent restaurant with a wide variety of menu options. The jerked chicken burger was delicious and the price was affordable. My colleagues all had great reviews about their meals- pasta, oxtail and stewed peas and w/rice. The service left alot to be desired since the young lady seemed to be new to the profession. Overall a great experience.

Visited this place last week, the vibe was nice, the drinks were good and the BBQ wings were on point, best wings I ever tasted. Will definitely visit and on my next trip to Jamaica.

Souls Sundays at Janga’s was awesome. Tanya Stephens had a live performance which was awesome! The layout of the stage was not the best, but it was still a great experience.

The evening was well spent. Myself, former boss and my good friend who recently handed in his resignation went to Janga's as a form if farewell for my friend. The ambiance was cool and not too crowded. I ordered the fries and jerk chicken...finger licking!!!

I had the bbq big tails, wings and fries. The food tasted salty. The music and atmosphere made up for it. It wasn’t crowded and the music was a blend of dancehall, soca and hip hop. I would recommend it and consider returning when in Kingston again.

Variety bar in the heart of New Kingston. Rotating theme nights, attentive and friendly service team. Decent quality crowd, nice food menu, priced very reasonably and overall nice bar/lounge experience with plenty of free parking (adjacent lot across the road)

The food at Jangas is very tasty and well presented. I am a mature person with high expectations. When I call in my lunch order I have never had a long wait when I go to collect. Customer service is great too..

Janga's is my new restaurant to get lunch whenever I am in or near New Kingston these days. I usually call, place my order and its ready for pick up when I arrive. My favourites are the pastas, fry chicken and the curry goat. Very delicious ,well presented and excellent customer service. Thanks Heidi for caring and great service. Compliments to the chef.

Considering that I've only been to Janga's twice and both occasions were for an event. ... I really like it there. The service is always great. The space is open, bathrooms are clean.

Went there to watch the 2022 world cup finals and I had a great time. The servers are warm and welcoming, the food was good and the vibe was fantastic. I even got free beers for my eclectic celebrations when France scored. 😂 Will definitely be going back soon.

Pros: 1. Waitresses provided excellent service. 2. Food was good. Meats were tender and well seasoned. I really enjoyed alfredo loaded fries. Never had it anywhere else (I suggest that experiment with other sauces or combinations for a non-cheesy option). 3. Drinks well made so good watering hole. Cons: 1. Didn't get to experience live music at the time, (jugglings) so vibe was super mellow. I could see that with live music really makes place come alive. 2. Range of food options is small for me. Average bar food. 3. For me and my height, I wish open seating available were lower chairs and not bar stools (I would stayed longer and ordered more).

First time being at Janga's and I was pleased with the service and the food (red peas soup shot). Wasn't too fond of the seating though. Bu I would definitely return.

The music was good, had a server that did not moss an order, and was pleasant. The atmosphere was cozy, lively and still you felt some sense of privacy. The chairs are uncomfortable and it took a while for the server to start attending to us. But overall a good experience.

The place is a nice vibe. Two areas sorta inside, outside, drinks reasonable, DJ friday night was good. It's over bout 1am. Tables if available for you to be served as a group. Crowd comes at various times. It's free entrance fee.

Ok, so I visited here for lunch. The prices were ok. We had slow Smoked Jerk Pork with fries and a side salad and Rum Infused BBQ Chicken with mash potatoes. So the sauce for the chicken was ok but the mash potatoes has 0 salt. It was annoyingly fresh. So we would give the chicken like a 6.5. The Jerk pork now was so tender and juicy however it didn't have any flavor. So well cooked but we didn't get that nice jerk flavorful taste. We didn't even get a jerk side. The fries were good with the right amount of salt. So I wud give the Pork a 6. Overall, the ambiance of the place is pretty nice and chill. Our waitress wasn't ready at all. She wasn't rude but she was also not very pleasant. So I wud overall give the place like a 6 as a kool lunch spot. Think I may have to visit one evening to give an evening feedback.

This is a nice, chill spot to visit. Live music, good vibes, cool atmosphere. Service isn't the fastest, but if you're not starving or in a rush, then you'll be good to go. I didn't get to stay too long, but will gladly revisit.

For me definitely a must show when having a guest from oversea. Authentic Jamaican vibes, good food and drinks. Can be very crowded at weekend days. In this case some additional waiting time for the food need to be arranged. However, the atmosphere is mostly very good.

Great vibes and good food. Our server was lovely, efficient and patient when we couldn't decide on an item. They do however have limited seating and some of the servers could use a refresher in customer service and interaction. As it gets later into the evening the music is turned up to having to "shout into each others' ears" levels. Also note that late in the evening you may be required to park at another location and there may be persons at that location trying to make an easy dollar from you by charging $500 to park. Parking however is FREE. Other than that it was an overall nice experience. Would definitely go back

Janga's was a whole vibe with my crew. It's definitely the spot to chill, dance and have a few drinks with friends. The surroundings was nice and very social. I will give them 4 stars for that. The food wasn't spectacular and the menu choices were regular degular as you'd find at your typical Kingston restaurant. The one sore point for me and my table was the customer service. The young lady that waited our table didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Her whole demeanour gave us all a bad vibe. Regular servers would ask if we're okay and say excuse me and so forth when coming to our table. There was none of that. What really solified the fact that she had no manners and people skills was that at the end of our time there, while we were standing around the table, she was coming to take away the glassware and instead of saying 'excuse me' she just used her hand to brush me aside to do so. Though I couldn't believe what just happened, we just laughed it off because we had a great time and didn't let her sour attitude ruin our experience. I'm really tempted to downgrade my review to 3 stars for all of that but the drinks were good and my group had a thorough good time.

Customer service was superb, our server natalia was knowledgeable about the menu the food I order was very tasty ... however I was a bit early for cocktail I was informed bartender wouldn't be in until 1:00pm but I will definitely will be returning.... btw they had beer bucket special that was affordable

Nice venue, very lively. The DJ/spinner had a good mix of music. The bar staff had awareness of customer requests. And theres a large fan to cool you down. However the quality of the speakers is poor. In Jamaica you want to feel the music the speakers could have come out of someones home. Needs improving.
