I saw a play there and while the facilities weren't top notch like a "Little Theatre". Seats were comfortable and was sound good. They have a small bar/refreshment area, which I didn't visit since I didn't have a need to. In all seems to be moderately ok

Good lighting and acoustics. Seating arrangements allow each audience member reasonably good visibility, regardless of where they are seated or who may be seated in front of them. I was able to enjoy the show without any visual obstruction or auditory difficulties. The technical team (sound, lighting, set, stage direction) also did a very good job, not to mention the superb performance of the actors themselves. 😊 Now... 😒 Ventilation of the lavatory facilities is a significant issue! When exiting the theatre at the end of the show, there was a horrible stench that allowed me to identify the exact location of the restroom(s), eventhough I had never been there before and saw no signage to indicate same. There seemed to have been no appropriate vending facilities for the purchase of refreshments (or even a ticket booth). Instead, there was one (1) young man seated beside a medium-sized ice cooler on the floor and a few snacks stacked on what appeared to be a classroom desk. This same young man was also responsible for selling and collecting tickets to the show. I can't comment on pricing for the tickets or refreshments, as my friend had pre-purchased our tickets and I had brought along snacks and beverages for us both (not that the actual selection of items seen would have enticed me to purchase anything there anyway 🙄). The overall aesthetics of the building is notably below the standard of what would be expected for an establishment in that particular neighbourhood. I don't know how long this theatre has been in existence but I do believe that they still have quite a bit of work to do to improve the overall experience of their patrons, instead of relying solely on how "good" the productions staged there might be. To summarize: I ENJOYED the play that I saw and I WOULD RETURN to see another show there, but it is certainly NOT MY PREFERRED THEATRE and I am NOT VERY LIKELY TO RECOMMEND anyone to go there. (If I obtain information on ticket pricing and refreshment costs I will update my review to critique same accordingly.)

Here for the second time watching the play 56 East Avenue and maan it is hilarious. Getting here was good as there was ample parking and assistance provided with same. Upon entry assistance was also provided to find seating. The plot of the play is interesting and relatable, the characters play their role so well and there are little twists to keep the audience entertained. It's now intermission and I can't wait for it to restart. I would recommend this experience to all. You will surely have a belly full of laughter.

The theatre and bathrooms needed renovation to get a cleaner eloquent look however, the play seen here was very enjoyable! The play was called 'Special Cuts'.

The parking which was a bit challenging is the only negative I have of this place. The production was amazing as well as the acting. I would encourage anyone if they can to visit. Snacks and drinks are available on site for purchase.

Really fun atmosphere. It was a wonderful show that really touched the heart. I am not religious but I have an appreciation for jazz that has never died. The show that they put on was fantastic, I truly believe that the show should go International and they should have large ideas for the future.

😐 Always a pleasure to watch the plays here but.... The seats are sooooo uncomfortable... It's a popular play house so I'm sure it generates good finances, it's about time the place is revamped and suitable for the full house it always boast! Fix up time
