Hospitable staff, delicious food, hefty portions, cozy environment. It’s quite close to Bob Marley Museum (6 minutes by car). I would say it was a great place to eat and chill when we were at Kingston.

The food was amazing!!! Upstairs ambience was tranquil, beautiful and the music provided a nice fun, chill environment. Staff was pleasant as well and cleanliness was great!!

Went on a weekday. The food was good but the wait time was long and no host/waiter was around to seat us (they're very obviously short staffed). Also, poor communication on the chef's part. We ordered curry goat which is supposed to come quickly but instead took 1 hour 20mins. If someone told us that that was the hold up with the table getting served, we could've changed our order. Could be a great restaurant because the food turned out delicious but they have issues to iron out first

Chillin was a pretty good experience, the ambiance was pretty relaxing and the staff are very friendly and food was pretty. If you are a love gravy the oxtail gravy is off the chain dizzy yo. Be sure to make reservations if you want to ensure you get a seat because there are of person that pass by for the experience. Depending on the amount of persons though wait times can be painful. Other than that its definitely a place to check out if you feel like the name suggest to just Chill.

First time at Chillin' and it was a good experience. Very chilled place. Service was a little slow but there seemed to be multiple group functions happening at the time. The waitress seemed overwhelmed or new but she was pleasant and I was just happy to be out for Dinner past 8pm. I enjoyed my meal. The lunch menu seemed more impressive than dinner but that is understandable since prior to a week ago restaurants could only do lunch and very early dinners. Some of the lunch menu items could be offered for dinner in addition to dessert options. You miss money when you don't offer dessert. Definitely would go back especially for lunch. The BBq wings were superb as was the Shrimp tostones! Dined with my husband but would also go with friends or have a celebration there.

A nice little oasis in New Kingston. I went here for lunch and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It had a calm relaxing environment. The food was awesome. I had the soup (which was a little salty) and the curried goat with roti. The waitress was friendly and accommodating to our needs. I definitely would visit again.

Nice chill spot. I love the ambiance and the staff is friendly. I didn't taste tequila in my drink and she brought a shot for me. I would Def go again and recommend a friend to Plus the food is delicious!

I am almost sure that I had posted one here. Anyways, it was first time going there and waitress Brittney Johnson was simply a gem. She was thoughtful, courteous and very accommodating. My friends and I had a brilliant time. The meals were on point (Kudos to the chef) and on top of that the drinks were to die for. The Electric Lemonade was a kicker! All in all it was a nice place, some music was playing and the vibe was nice and area very spacious. I do intend on visiting once more.

The service is really slow, not sure if it's because of a special occasion. However if you are going to come here ensure that you're not totally famished. Also the staff welcome you with open arms and it was quiet welcoming other than that the food was ok.

The location is tucked away and it wasn’t like I imagined. The chairs were also very uncomfortable. The food was great! I would recommend the jerk sausage quesadillas. The drinks were also good. The prices weren’t too bad, but I ordered the Alfred for $1800 and an additional $400 for the chicken and didn’t get a lot of chicken. I would probably order take-out from them but most likely wouldn’t go back because of the atmosphere, it doesn’t give a “restaurant” vibe.

From the moment we entered, the ambiance felt lackluster, which did not create a welcoming atmosphere. When the dishes arrived, I was further disappointed. While the presentation was nice, the taste was just underwhelming. Overall this dining experience will go in my book as unremarkable.

Black seat are UNCOMFORTABLE. Please change them. Waitress was very welcoming. The food took about 40mins to arrive, the fish was okay but i was very much DISAPPOINTED with the curry goat meal. Female washroom needed napkins. Overall its very unrated for me.

The food was tasty especially the curried Goat croquettes....... The wings were flavourful and if you like it hot, definitely choose that option. The drink was lacking alcohol....... We went as a group, but we all ordered separately. I was most annoyed when the waitress told use that we all had to go downstairs to pay our bills individually. When we finally went downstairs, the process was so slow. It would be nice if the order was separated when ordered, so we can pay where we sit. No one goes to a place like this to join lines.... Please make it stress free. There's no pic of the wings, as I took it to go, but I was too far in the box when I remembered the pic.... It was nice. Lol

Booked for a group of 10 to celebrate my birthday. Due to lockdown kitchen last serve 4pm so had to make it a brunch event which was still ok. Tasty food and drinks with good presentations. There were no physical menus due to covid we had to scan barcoded paper to view menu. 4/5 only because main dishes did not come out all at the same time. Would recommend as a nice place for brunch.

Settings great. Customer service was a bit quirky with the waitor we had but he was good nonetheless. Food was done in a timely fashion. Ox tail was pretty good, pork chops a bit rubbery but had great flavour. Blended fruit punch was awesome. Insects come out as night approaches but that didnt take away much from the experience. Vibe was ok.

The meal I had was exceptional I strongly recommend the curry Goat if you decide to eat here. 10/10 The decor was basic at best I preferred their first location that had a whole forest theme gong for it.

The restaurant is located a few steps from the R hotel and is reasonably priced . The staff is friendly and attentive , our server Ventrice was a superstar . The food was very tasty , cocktails were well mixed ,but margarita was too small music was a bit loud , which made having conversation difficult , Overall a good 4 5

Great ambiance and excellent customer service. Prices were reasonable and had a good drink menu, I wish they had more food options but what I had was delicious.

THEY DID NOT CATER WELL TO OUR GROUP. We were a group of 14, went for a Birthday Celebration they couldnt accommodate the cheesecake being refridgerated telling us " the night is cool it will be fine" ....it was not fine. Mind you we called prior to ensure that they could assist us however the lady on the phone said someting completely different than the treatment we got when we were there. We asked about bringing wine she said we were allowed one when we broght it, it was another uncertainty they were reluctant for us to open it ect.... the curry goat flavour wise was great but it was COLD. The waiter was polite and he really tried his best but all the hiccups put a damper on the celebration. Truly Disappointed.

We had dinner here, on Valentine’s Day, made reservations online, before travelling and call and confirm 1 hour prior to arriving- At time of arrival, the hostess told waiter to take over to the nicer side of restaurant, as we requested nice table due to us being on honeymoon. We walked over all excited to find out no seats were there, the waiter than shuffled us over to any available seat, which was a back facing to stage show, small cocktail style seat, close to waiting bar area. We were not happy, asked to speak to manager, who then proceeded to say “oh we saved these seats for all reservation customers, and no one else complained” Thank god, another hostess over heard and told us to place our orders, as it takes time to come out, have a drink and he would move us to nice bigger table. Once that was resolved, we got to enjoy the live music, we love the atmosphere, the ambience, the scenery, love it all. The food was really good- flavorful We will return on next visits. Would give 5*, if the table mix up didn't happend

I visited on Superbowl sunday. They had the superbowl on a big screen. The noise was limited though which created an enjoyable experience while still not missing out. Delicious food. Courteous staff. Quiet ambiance. We had the meatless tacos to start which was tasty and I didnt miss having meat in it. The Charcole chicken was done to perfection. Pork chops were good too. I have no issues with this place and will definitely revisit. They should put up more signs and lights to direct us to the place however. Hope Gardens is huge.

The restaurant is beautiful. They have a live dj. The prices are affordable and the staff is kind. The food is delicious. The only reason I took one star off is because I'm an American who came to Jamaica to eat. I asked for jerk chicken. They were completely out of jerk. I was super disappointed.

I went to Chillinz with my work group and it was so amazing. The atmosphere was cool and comfortable. The music and staff made it very pleasant as we played our games and laughed effortlessly. Very professional

Open space environment with upstairs and downstairs dining. Service from the waitress was mediocre (5/10). Ordered the curry mutton which was served with fried plantains, roti and raw veg. I can’t remember the name of the drink I had but I think it was called Gimlet, it was bussin. Overall experience (7/10) because of wait time and the spiciest of the curry. My throat burned from how spicy the curry was.

Totally recommend 😋 I went with my friends in august and they were patient and had great servers. Also, I had the curried goat with roti and let me tell you ! I ate it all lol 😂 can’t wait to visit again 😋

While I understand that we are still in a pandemic 👀. Didn't expect that the goat wouldn't have meat on it. This is a take out meal and based on the other foods I saw for the reviews I didn't expect this.

Went there two (2) days ago. The ambience on the upper level was lovely. The service was great, food came in around 10-15 minutes after ordering. Had an awesome waitress who ensured we were ok, big up Britney! Food was great and worth the money.

Nice and quaint.. ideal for a date night or just a social gathering.. service was good under the circumstances.. the food tho.. chefs kiss.. The chef really threw down in the kitchen.. nicely seasoned and flavoured..would definitely visit again..

Finally visited the new location. I love the look, atmosphere and customer service was good. The spicy and barbeque wings gave me life, their pasta and roast chicken was great.

Went to try out curry goat, not a good experience in terms of taste. Found it to be over hyped, have eaten much btr curry goat in Jamaica. Further the bowl was full of bones and meat was pretty less, can be termed as "goat bone curry". Not satisfied!! Need to work on taste and portions. However ambiance is good and serving staff is polite.

Food was not all that great. The ambiance was somewhat nice. Overall the experience was OK.. Food is Kinda overpriced in my opinion.

I arrived approx 4:30 pm a little after they opened. The waitress was courteous and the envronment was cozy and chill. I ordered the Burga, however the waitress returned shortly after to inform me that there was none available, so I ordered the loaded fries (chicken). When it arrived it was cold as a puppy nose (literally). I was so disappointed that I refused to have dessert and I opted out of leaving a tip. Please do not waste your time or money here!!!

The setting was ok. Server and staff were friendly. Our food took a long while to come and we were offered soup which was ok. However, upon paying our bill, service charge was added to the bill and we were a group of 4. The menu clearly stated it was necessary only for a group of 8 or more . We paid the 10% gratuity to our server before actually realizing it was already added. Therefore it would not be appropriate to take it back. So be sure to double check twice when dining here when it comes to paying your bill.

This has far been the worst service I’ve ever received from a restaurant . The waiter needs training . The loaded fries was awfully cold and not delicious . The roti had a flat taste . The food wasn’t as delicious as it looked oh and please don’t eat the shrimp wontons that’s disgusting. Persons were leaving by the min because of being frustrated. The environment is a 10 but service is needs help . Owner you are losing money and will continue to lose money if you don’t address this issue.

Tasty dishes friendly staff and great atmosphere

It was my first time at Chillin'. The service was excellent, food good and the prices okay. One thing that was off was the portion size, it needed to be more. Everything else including the music and the setting was lovely. I would go back, just need more food on the plate. Oh and people, it's best to make a reservation online. The good thing about this is that you get email reminders before your scheduled visit and on the day, you get a call from Chillin' to confirm.

I believe in second chances. If I ever visit again I'll write my full review then. Great location, settings and ambiance. But otherwise visit at your own risk.

Waited for 15 minutes to be seated that was ok seeing it was a busy night, we waited another 20 minutes to be asked by a waiter if we had been attendee to, 1hr and 15 minutes later still no food, first and the last time coming to this establishment.

Love the atmosphere, the ambience, the scenery, love it all. The food is not best, but it's very good, and the place just feel as if it's a little get away spot from the busy and noisy city. Facility very clean and well kept and staff seem very polite and professional. This is a sure go too spot for food, and you can relax and enjoy the fresh air as well.

This spot is excellent for an after-work linkup. Far from the noise of rush hour traffic, you can get very tasty food, a great selection of "adult" beverages, and excellent service! The decor is very chill (no pun intended) and it's just a very easy vibe.
