Fantastic! This is a local, but also tourist spot. The setting is beautiful. The service was amazing. The pizzas were delicious. The drinks were great! Like any tourist destination, prices may be a little bit more, but well worth it, considering the historical and beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend everything here. We met the Italian chef, and he was great. We will be back.πŸ‡―πŸ‡²πŸ’šπŸΉ

The restaurant had a dated feel as was expected considering the history of the place. At the time I went, there was only one other patron in the restaurant and it had just finished raining so the outdoor seating area was not an option. The food was good. I had the garden salad and I was pleasantly surprised at the quantity and it was very pretty to look at. I also had the chicken breast stuffed with callaloo and served with sweet potato and vegetables. I enjoyed my meal. The waiter was pleasant.

I have been here several times over the years but was MOST IMPRESSED by Restaurant Week 2017. The Customer service was ON POINT from ALL STAFF. The food was not only full of flavour with good portion portion size but came quick and was hot. The ambiance is gorgeous particularly that new outside section and did I mention that they have great customer service!

Service was good. I didn't have to wait long for our meal. And the food was delish not to mention the servings. We had more than enough even to take home.

Very nice ambiance under the moonlight with great service. The quality of the food leaves something be desired. The chef is a bit overzealous with the use of salt.

Needed more workers for the function I had there, servers were overworked, couldn't even be mad at them....don't think my business was appreciated by owner or he would've made sure extra workers are available, one worker taking drinks order for a party of 32, constant reminders, waiting other tables at the same time also, more suitable for much, much smaller group...

I made reservations with this restaurant i also called and confirmed my reservations, I took my family of 11 people to the restaurant on for them to tell us the kitchen is closed. Then to add insult to injury they offered us pizza πŸ• can you imagine. After giving this incompetent establishment a piece of my a piece of my mind I took my family to the Spanish court hotel where we had a ball

The setting was lovely and the service great. If only the food was as good. Pepper pot soup salty, and my Fish fillet in coconut sauce with bammy and sauteed vegetables was as fresh as water. Lacked flavour and salt... presentation was good though I must admit. The stamp and go was really good and comment re the curried stuffed chicken from the other guests was that it was good.

Have to give this place a five Star. The Ambience was very lovely, service was great the food was great. And by the way I had the pepper pot soup and it was also very good. The chef was very awesome he prepared my friend Salmon the way he requested it. There was a party of 6 and everyone loved there orders. Though located in Jamaica it feels like back in the states. Menu had multiple dishes to choose from, dishes you would find back in the States not just Jamaican menu. They even had dishes like linguine fettuccine.

The name of resturant does not compliment the location's lovely ambiance. Every table on the terrace under the canopy of mango trees makes al fresco dining in a congested city enjoyable experience. Years ago, assuming under different mangement happy hour was ideal! Who can resist 2 for 1 Devon Duppies with live music? Unfortunately the food was not up to the standard of gourmet prices. The meal was well presented but lacking pungent flavors of local "fresh" ingredients, ginger, thyme, st andrew scallions, thyme, ect...

I do hope that the operators / owners of this place take the time to read these reviews and in the interest of good business act on the feedbacks from guests. I was not surprised when I saw most of the reviews from other guests posted here. I had pretty similar experience. Note; I had already written and emailed this review before visiting this page. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” After searching and eliminating several other options my wife and I decided to give your β€˜restaurant’ a trial. Firstly, the usher was not bad. However, we were not impressed by your server/waitress. She seemed impatient and was rushing for us to order, which never took long because we have already decided on what to have from the already meager menu at the entrance. Was not made easy since several menu items were unavailable. These first impressions prompted us to leave but then we were curious since we would need to know whether it’s worth visiting the location in the future. Hence we stayed. Eventually the meals we ordered came, smoked pork chop & boneless β€˜jerk’ pork. - Appearance was ok. - Food was merely warm. - Very apparent that parts of the meal was from leftovers. - There was very little to no flavor. - Vegetables were ok. - Meal was too salty. Disappointed. No one asked how was the meal. NO ONE The objective seemed to be; seat guests quickly collect payment at the end. Nice place, it would be better with good food and better customer service. See management, start there.

Waited forever to be paid attention to. Had to ask for water after waiting for over half hour. The waitress was unpleasant. The business didn't communicate any info to us unless we asked a lot of questions, and the payment of the bill was an extortion exercise.

The people here are lovely, so I apologize in advance. They really know how to cook rice and peas, but $4,000.00 for 3 pcs of oxtail you have to chip your teeth on to eat, 1/4 cup of partially cooked broad beans and vampire killing garlic infused vegetable medley. Even with the power of belief that a 2hr wait time can make the belly grow founder, it didn't really do it for me. So keep that...I recommend the soup, but walk with a bottle of water or a mild diuretic depending on the salt of the day.(DISCLAIMER, while taking this photo I caught the ghost of a 4th oxtail BONE) I believe in you guys, do better.

The restaurant had a very nice old fashioned vibe until me and my family sat down at one of the tables and the table cloth was soiled and dusty with dead bugs scattered on it, my family first ordered the chicken soup and had no issue with it but then we ordered the curry goat and rice and peas (which is $6000 Jamaican dollars per plate and there was four of us but we order 3) the rice was tough and tasted stale like it was put out in the open for a long time then lightly microwaved then served to us, the curry goat's seasoning was just right but the curry goat could be cooked a little more and was tough the food was also cold for one of my family members, it was so bad to the point that she sent it back to be reheated and we also ordered lemonade that costs $500 Jamaican dollars for a small glass and a straw, everything was ridiculously overpriced, my older family member got to contact the manager to tell them a detailed report of what happened, the manager decided to contact the owner to see if they could do anything about the overpriced bill since it is normal to get a discount or to get another fresh plate but since about 2 of us finished our food because we were hungry she claimed that there was nothing she could do without having physical evidence to show the owner, also we noticed that the cashier was about to run my aunt's credit card whilst we were in the middle of making the complaint as if she already knew that nothing would be done, My aunt had to literally stop her in her tracks and point out how inappropriate her actions were. the manager was apologetic, well mannered and very professional and the server, Thomas, was also apologetic for the quality of the food and he had a amazing personality, served us well and was very chivalrous, while the service was above standard the standard of the food makes it very hard to come back to, i don't recommend.
