I had a great time. I booked a reservation before so my seat was held. I enjoyed my food, very tasty. I had the curried goat pasta and my friend had the shepherd's pie. Both were spicy and served hot! My beverage was a mocktail, the one with the basil in it. First time trying a beverage with a herb in it I enjoyed it. I did not wait long for my food. Waitress was pleasant and friendly and help with my drink selection.

Hands down probably one of the best menus I have ever had to choose from. It's entirely too much good food in one place so hats off to the chef for this wonderful menu you have created. We enjoyed lunch here and between the 2 of us we sampled quite a few items from the menu and all of them were excellent. Service was great and the ambiance is very nice as well. The weather wasn't the greatest so we didn't get to enjoy the outside but next time we will. If you are food adventurous and love fusion food this is the place for you. I highly recommend and hope to be back again soon.

This place has been on my list for some time and I finally got to visit! It was definitely a great experience. I got seated outside, where the view was calming and the food more enjoyable. The evening was a bit chilly, but once that alcohol hit, I completely forgot about the breeze. The drinks were tasty and I like the fact that I could actually taste the alcohol and it wasn't watered down. The food was perfect! I ordered the shrimp pasta and I was definitely not disappointed! The shrimp tacos were filled with a lot of different flavors and the chicken breast lollipops definitely was different in a good way! The service was great and our server made sure we were comfortable the whole time. The prices were a bit expensive, but with the taste and quantity, it was definitely worth it.

Service was good, the crab cake and oxtail mac & cheese were great. The ribs were okay. Drinks were also good. We arrived a bit late for our reservation, after the grace period and they still accommodated us.

Great for rooftop dining, drinks and dinner. I've now been 3 times and never disappointed! It gets very busy at nights and on weekends, so reservations are recommended. Else, you may have a little wait for seating

Overall amazing experience. They've recently added some great options to the menu. Food is always flavorful, staff is wonderful. Atmosphere is amazing. I will always return to broken plate. It can be a bit pricey, but usually delicious

If there's any restaurant that I have to go to in Kingston, its Broken Plate. It's my first and only recommendation to my friends and family. The food is great and always changing to keep you on your toes, the customer service is beautiful and staff very friendly and respectful and the ambiance is soothing that sometimes, I forget that I'm in Jamaica. Don't forget to always ask about their ice cream for the day, 😉 Well done Broken Plate. Keep it up.

The food here is so good. Just absolutely love the quality and the flavours. You have to get the scotch bonnet mussels, crispy pork belly, the curried goat pasta, shrimp chowder and their specialty cocktails are yummy!

Lovely atmosphere and decor, our waitress was very friendly and helpful the hostess not so much😐 not sure if it was my attire at the time as I was just grabbing a small lunch which ended up being a large one, 🤭 the food was great I personally didn’t like the mashed potato 🤮and yow they get the mixed Liquors right 👍🏽. All in all I would recommend this spot though.

Our server Michelle was excellent in working the floor. The food was great and freshly prepared. It's not very often you get hot crispy fries eating out. I was surprised at how fast our food came out. I'd go there again.

Shout out to Q. Waiter doing greater. Wish we could have left more of a tip. Very attentive and engaging, granted it was far from a busy night. The ambience is a classy casual vibe. RIP to my favorite chicken lollipops and oxtail mc n cheese balls. Food on the new menu was worth a bit of exploration and requires an open mind and adventurous heart. Duck wings were delicious albeit a bit gamey for my taste. Presentation of the salmon tostones was beautiful but fell short in the flavourful department. Drinks where very good across the board. Salt Bae margaritas can add a touch of excitement to your date.

Food is amazing, ambiance is quite modern however it can get a bit noisy dining on the inside. Nonetheless the outside view is superb I was especially in love with the broken plate wall. On average great tasting food pasta was exceptional, crab cake was one of the best I’ve ever had! 9/10 recommend customer service can be improved.

Broken Plate is truly a beautiful restaurant. The ambience is on point whether you decide to sit indoors or outdoors. The food was delicious. We had the salmon, individual mac 'n' cheese, vegan stew, fries and fried chicken sliders. Everything was great except for the waitress. We were not impressed. It's a shame that such great restaurants can be dragged down by their employees.

Lovely decor with a roof terrace garden. Good selection of wines and other beverages. Food was very good compliment to the Chef. Very well presented. It feeds the eyes as well as the palate. The food was the saving grace here.... Unfortunately the service was terrible. Seem to be more staff sitting around talking than attending to customers. It looks unprofessional and messy. The amount of staff that was present, we could not even get our bill when we asked for it. I only left a tip because my friend thought it was mean if we did not. If you want discerning customers with cash to splash and to keep returning, then more staff training in hospitality and customer service is desperately needed...

Temperature check and sanitizing upon arrival. Ambience is really nice- furniture had a nice modern eclectic feel. Menu available by QR code. Service was fairly quick. Ordered appetizers(crab cake was a little pricey for 1, cocktails and entrees and dessert. There are small plates option too. Meals were tasty

Upon entering, I was greeted by a warm atmosphere. The staff proved to be extremely friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The cuisine and beverages both met my expectations in terms of quality.

The food was good. The service was great. The atmosphere was good. The decor in the restroom was so elegant. My salmon was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed my meal. Put this place on your To Go list.

Where to start? The food was absolutely fantastic and delicious. Everything was done to perfection from the plating to taste of the dishes.Their customer service was exceptional. Our server Jerome we was welcoming. An incident happened where we had an issue with one of our order, my sister cannot eat egg and had unknowingly order a dish that included it, and as such there was alot of back and forth with the kitchen and our table. Despite this he was understanding and patient. One issue i had thou was the drinks were too sweet. Other than that everything was great. I recommend making a reservation if you want a full experience of the view from the balcony.

Reservation is highly recommended! I went for dinner and ordered the Pulled Pork Spring Roll for appetizer (10/10) and that pineapple sauce is bussin! For main I ordered the Broken Burger (8/10) it was a bit greasy but it was good. For drink I got the Money Heist which is like a sangria made with red wine and white rum, it has apple slices, lychee and lemon (12/10). Highly Recommended. Customer Service was great!

Definitely added to my go to restaurants in Kingston. I've been here three times, and the service is always A1. The food is always well done. Will always go back ❤️

Restaurant was not packed, waiter was efficient and regularly checked up on the table. Food was delicious and came very fast! Pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Great meal. The steak and crab cake was pretty amazing. The sauce on the plate of the crab cake was delicious. A nice mix of sweet and spicy.

When my partner and I went in, we met a really lovely waiter who took us to our table. Then, we noticed that a waitress started serving us. The waitress came to us and we requested water first. We waited and waited and no water came. The waitress then came to take our order. We didn't know how to access the menu and the waitress' body language made it seem as if we should know how to access the menu. By this time, still no water. We eventually accessed the food menu. We then asked her how to access the drinks menu and we got the same body language. After that, we finally ordered our meal but we still didn't get any water. My partner and I waited and waited and we haven't received our meal nor the water. By this time, the waitress passed us numerous times with food in her hands and paid us no mind. Persons who went in long after us got their meals and left before us, even two popular Jamaican couple that came in long after us. We then got our food after an hour but it was not all that to us so we decided to put our meals in boxes and leave. We tried to get the waitresses attention but she paid us no mind until long after. When we decided to leave, we asked for water for the 3rd/4th and she looked as if she just remembered and went for it. At this time my partner and I got upset and started to prep to leave. That's when the waitress coming to ask if we are OK. The waitress did not come to check on us or gave us the water until we ready to leave. In addition, she asking for tip. I'd never go back to that restaurant. I'd prefer to eat at a fast food place rather than go back to this restaurant. Oh! You guys need to edit the location on the map. The map led us beside US Embassy, across from the gas station and we had to drive couple minutes before finding the correct location.

Thanks to Broken Plate, I had a bellyful of good tasting food in an awesome setting. Yes expect to pay $$$ but you will be catered to in great ambiance and have excellent tasting food.

The food was excellent. The service was prompt. Only took off one star for the ambience. There weren't many places I wanted to actually sit.

The food was awesome. We dined on the balcony and there were some insects that kept biting us. After awhile they went away. Overall it was really nice. I would recommend this resturant. To the owners please add chairs that are comfortable for all sizes.

We didn't reservations ahead on a Saturday night so it was no surprise to me that it was mostly reserved apart from 2 bar stools. No problem, I was excited for the food so the table was the least of my concern. We got seated and almost immediately the bartenders checked on us to make sure we were good, took our order and put on a mixologist show... not really but we got some entertainment lol. Like most ladies, pictures affi tek and an essential picture on your night out is a restroom picture. Let me tell youuu they did not slip, they didn't not miss! Immediately as I opened the door I was disappointed that it was small which would mean it didn't have the big restroom mirror...but yuh see me, you can win me with a garden theme or gold and white theme any day, and they were both present. The ladies restroom was beautiful and warm (and I specify the ladies restroom because the men restroom is just plain but clean). The food came in good time and eas looking delicious! The salmon and mash was spectacular, I took off 1 star off the food because of the pasta. If you know me, I'm always going for a pasta to find 1 that can beat south avenue. The chicken pasta I got is a contender, my problem with it is that the pasta itself could take about 5 more minutes of boiling. The sauce was lovely, chicken nice and tender. Again, if you know me... anywhere the passion is, I'll find it. So I ended my night with a drink of double happiness, a passion fruit martini 😘! Was expecting a little buzz though but never catch a spirit at all. The drink was lovely nonetheless. In between food, drink and bill wait, of course I ran back to the bathroom for more pics, warmth or simply to clean up. I really appreciate the effort placed in that bathroom. All in all, it was a great experience, lovely food (coming back for salmon) and service.

An interesting fusion of Jamaican and several other cuisines, the menu for this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I had the Baked Brie, Shrimp Bao, and Earthlicious Burger. I found the portion sizes to be more than filling so unless you’re curious and want to try several things, there’s no need to get 2 mains like I did. The service was also exceptional. It was really bad weather when I went and so I had to wait a bit for other members of my party. Without asking, a waiter approached me with a bottle of coconut water. Very thoughtful! No loud music so ideal for a date or business meeting.

I must say! One of the best restaurants in Kingston I have ever been! Usually in most restaurants, the service is always the worst but this restaurant took it up quite a notch! The service was excellent , the atmosphere.... prestige! And the food! Jesus the food!! I can now say this is the best spot for steak! While everything was tasty, this is the first restaurant in Jamaica and gave me a perfect medium rare steak that melts in your mouth and a lobster that was cooked just to perfection! My hats off to the great staff here. I will definitely return!

I have to honestly say that the fish I ate here is the best fish I have eaten in my life. I was in Kingston with my wife (we live in Florida) to celebrate our anniversary and we wanted to go to a local place with a good reputation. We did our research online and selected the Broken Plate. The place really lived up and exceeded our expectations, in general we greatly enjoyed the food in Jamaica, but this restaurant is easily the best restaurant we visited in Kingston. We had shrimp for appetizers, my wife had a steak and I had the fish. Not only was the food superb but the service was excellent, the ambience really good and, if you go at night and the weather is nice, the terrace is a fantastic place to enjoy an excellent dinner. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Went out with my friend for her birthday and the food wasn’t great. I told the manager and she gave us a free meal, ordered the lobster with fries and it was very good. I’d recommend asking for her if anything goes wrong. Her name is Rorey.

The experience at this restaurant was good, but not great. The server was friendly and had a warm personality. The food took some time to get to us. We ordered grilled chicken, seasoned fries, calamari, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The food was ok. I didn't like the lemonade, it was too sweet. The ambience was relaxed, no loud music.

Kudos to the team for having a high level of customer service. We were greeted nicely and the server was even more friendly and helpful. The food tastes as good as it looks. We are looking forward to our next visit.

First I agree with what another said about having the most dynamic menu in all of Jamaica frankly. The food was nice. The service was ok using an American scale. But using a Jamaican scale the service was excellent. So I tipped accordingly. But I wish I could take back that 20%…when discussing dessert with the bartender who was serving us, I specifically told her I don’t like cheese cake and yet she recommend the chocolate cake that is called torte I believe. It basically had a layer of some cheese base similar to plain cheesecake in the chocolate. I do not eat dairy, so I did not eat the dessert taken to go. Disappointing! The salmon small bite is wonderful and the steak tacos delish!

This restaurant was recommended to me while on vacation. The restaurant offers dining both indoor & on an open patio. Great relaxing atmosphere. My group of 6 sat on the patio & it was nice and cool. Rating the entrees - Grilled salmon - 5, Curry Goat Pasta - 2.5, BBQ Ribs - 3.5, Oxtail Bolognese - 3.5. Overall dining experience rating 3.5/4 I recommend (1) that the chef use curry goat meat pieces/chunks instead of 'shredding' the meat. This will make the meal look appetizing, instead of 'mushy', and (2) not to pile a lot of food on the plate. It left the impression that he was trying to get rid of the food. Service was very good as the servers were attentive & quick to take care of requests.

Great customer service! The employees where polite and attentive. We didn't have to wait very long to be seated and our orders taken. I enjoyed the atmosphere and definitely would recommend. The food was delicious, I can feel a sense of pride in how the present their plates. I will be going back.

The food was very delicious and waitress was very nice and did a great job. My only issue was with the chairs outside. The chairs are very low which make the experience of dining outside uncomfortable.

Wonderful experience. We had the curry goat pasta and the oxtail bolognese. Both were amazing (I loved that the Jamaican influence in both dishes was front and center). The service was amazing (thank you Simone for taking good care of us!). I would highly recommend this place to every and anyone.

I love this restaurant, definitely 10/10. Beautiful space with an amazing view. Food was amazing and a big shout out to my server, Moses. He was very welcoming and recommended the best white wine i’ve ever had. Customer service on a whole was wonderful, hostess was sweet and polite. I’ll definitely be going back❤️
