This bed and breakfast was exceptionally comfortable, clean and welcoming. The host Betty goes out of her way to prioritize her guests, from preparing breakfast to giving rides in her car free of charge. She made sure we were always in good hands and safe. She gave us great local travel tips and connected us with resources when needed. The gardens at the property are gorgeous, and the gated property includes a generous back patio and pool for guests to enjoy. Our room was priced fairly and we had a full bachelor style setup with kitchen and bathroom. The room and property were very well maintained and clean.

The location is excellent and there's easy access to grocery stores, banks, restaurants and gas stations. Also the owner Betty is fabulous! She is very kind and helpful! Also Samantha is very nice as well, [overall the staff and maintenance crew great]! The guest house is clean and very spacious. The offered amenities: AC, hot water, wifi and kitchenette are great as well! Overall a very nice place to lodge for a quick weekend gateaway or long vacation stay. Theres a pool and beautiful garden areas on the premises as well. I highly recommend Orchid Cottage as a vacation lodging place. I would definitely stay there again👍🏾

Love this place, will always be going back, it's a home from home setting, comfortable, relaxing and clean. Miss Betty is a very good host, her hospitality is of a caring and kind nature. Very welcoming. An ideal and private place to repose. Miss Betty's breakfasts are the best and a plate to look forward to in the mornings. You can choose to eat in your little cottage or out by the poolside. She has a team of workers that keep the accommodation and yard looking fab and not to mention her lovely plantation of food that her green fingers produces. The area is safe and central to needed amenities. We felt safe and not bothered by what was around. We enjoyed the scenery of her peaceful outdoor environment and the area on a whole. If staying in Kingston and want some tranquility and rest, then make this place your choice, the outside zone itself is a haven, very therapeutic. Lovely home and family. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb.💯👌

Great place to stay. The rooms are very nice, the Pool is great for a little swim and Betty is just great. A wonderful person who 's doing everything to feel comfortable. And she has an amazing garden with big palms and wonderful flowers.

Orchid cottage was the perfect place to relax and chill after a hectic time travelling around Jamaica. It's set in up town Kingston. In this hidden oasis you will surrounded with beautiful palm tree's and Orchids of different kinds. Betty; your hoist is caring and very attentive, it's like coming home. She greeted us with plate full cut Mangos, Bananas and passion fruit, finished of with her special blend of her secret passion fruit drink (very refreshing). We stopped in a double bed pod right by the pool that catered for our every need. In the pod you have a kitchenette, fridge freezer, air conditioning with a ceiling fan and a TV with a fire stick. We will be definitely coming here again, we have been telling a families all about it. Thank you Betty and all your wonderful staff. Kingston's best kept secret, won't be a secret for very long.

The property is like a botanical garden and is full of birds and frogs. Betty is a fantastic host. She can't do enough for her guests. I would definitely stay there again.

The garden is amazing. Busy street at the front but no noise at the pool or back rooms. Furniture a bit dated but the host makes it up in hospitality and kindness.

Can not speak highly enough of Betty the host. By far the best hospitality me and my family of 5 have had when travelling around the island. The food and accomodation is just as exceptional and amazing value for money. But money can not buy everything. Feel blessed to meet such a wonderful person.

A little piece of paradise in Kingston! Its almost worth the trip to eat breakfast in the garden alone... Betty goes above and beyond to make her guest's stay a great experience. This was my first-ever vacation and I couldn't be happier with our stay. We will absolutely be back.

Most distasteful host I've met..called to enquire about the location of the cottage and to get information..her response..' why u need to find me why u need to find me,any information you want go on the website then book the place'..so I said I can't jus go on the website I need see if place is suitable...she responded me can't take nobody now the place full...so I said its nt for now it's for July I jus need to view the place or have an idea abt it's like...she said I can't come there...so I said in shock at the poor customer service is this how u deal with your customer...your countenance is very distasteful and rude...she hang up the phone in my ears...this happen February 23 2019
