I went there for a business session so I cannot attest to more than what I saw. The worker at the front desk was attentive, upon my arrival. All my other interactions were not with the staff. Next, locating the "castle" was a bit of a maze but the signs were adequate. The castle rooms were spacious and cool.

Can I saw centrally located. Breakfast good and worth the stay. Palm Court 2 and Aquarium is the best spots. Noisy if you don’t mind but location wise. Best. Also if you looking for modern updated hotel experience example, Marriott ? Try your best. All in all great place

I went there for a meeting. They were fixing the driveway around the hotel and my heals almost got stuck in the oil and tar they were using. The receptionist was no help as she did not give us directions to where we needed to go. The hotel is old and needs urgent renovations. From the stained ceilings to the worn carpets. Despite the old look of the bathrooms, they were quite clean and had the necessary toiletries. Lunch tasted delicious. However, we did not receive our juices until after we had completed our meals.

Great location. This is located in the heart of the tourist area in Kingston. This was near Devon House ice cream, US Embassy, Bob Marley Museum, and right adjacent to Friday's restaurant. The rooms and the inside of the place is dated. Rooms are spacious though. Bathroom fixtures need to replaced. Furniture is the old fashioned. The ac in our room leaked a lot the first night but it was quickly fixed. The breakfast provided was amazing. Rose was very kind and helpful hostess. The other staff members were also kind. There was internet and TV as entertainment. I was told there was a pool but never had to time to go look for it. It seems they were renovating an open area upstairs.

I really think this more like a motel rather than hotel but i must commend the chef amd waiters they did a wonderful Job food was well prepared and on time not to mention the flavors omg

I really don't know why I expected more of this place. But it was just ok. Pricey but ok. It didn't give me that wow like I expected. It has too much of a vintage style, but I expected more modern, more comfortable, with blasting ac and comfortable chair ect. But its ok

Its a nice, big and historic hotel with overpriced rooms. TV remotes don't work properly but Rooms have ac and water heater. Was only a one night stay, which was decent. Breakfast was provided in the morning with food taken to the room.

I only went for a weekend seminar. So I didn't get the chance to experience all that it has to offer. But the little bit I got was great. They have excellent customer service.

Historic is the best way to describe Medallion Hall. If you are looking for something vintage with history, this is where you want to be. I spent 2 nights here. The breakfast was great. The rooms are large.

I attended a bridal shower here and it was great. The space was big enough for us to be comfortably spaced, the speakers were clear, the food and drink was delicious. The decor was courtesy of the bride-to-be's cousin.

The rooms could use some updating and the pillows need to be replaced however breakfast is good service was more than good

  • 4/5 Roxaine S. 1 year ago on Google
The venue is quiet, located close to the bustling centres of half-way-tree, barbican, sovereign, liguanea etc.

  • 3/5 Edward S. 1 year ago on Google
Popular budget friendly location, with limited parking. Double parking frequently inconveniences patrons who need to exit. Friendly wait staff, many of long tenure.

I reserved a couple rooms on my wedding weekend for my family members and on the day someone called and said they had a couple people that was suppose to checkout but decided to extend. That should not affected my rooms I have reserved. This us the most unprofessional business. I would never recommend anyone to this hotel.

  • 1/5 Siya Z. 6 years ago on Google
The decor was a perfect twist of 1970 motel and the attic of your grandmother. The lamp in the corner was a smart idea, as it wasn't close to any plugs and therefore couldnt be plugged in and wouldn't waste any electricity. That's taking eco-friendly to the next level. The room was exquisite for a horror scene in a movie. I got a lot of ideas for my film script, highly recommend it for inspiration. The door had no handle, very chic. Must be a very modern trend that hasn't caught on anywhere else in the world. There was no balcony but thankfully the locks on my windows were broken so getting in and out was a breeze. I left out milk and cookies while I was away incase any visitors came in. Would definitely stay here again if I was treating a blind date, and they were actually blind.

It is not that I disliked it. It needs a culture of customer care and respect for people. They make you know when you are an inconvenience. The staff was pretty abrasive.

  • 3/5 Gia W. 4 years ago on Google
I was there for a two (2) day training. Not enough parking space however the staff were courteous and polite. Lunch was small but tasty. The coffee break options were okay. The internet kept dropping and the bathrooms were okay but need better lighting.

Went to a two day training. First time being at the hotel. The facilities are pretty decent. The food was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

This hotel is mainly for conferences/use of meeting rooms etc. The hotel is poorly maintained in my opinion. Wedding facilities and packages seem limited, basic shabby & ancient. As a result the prices are cheap. There is no garden should someone want to have a garden wedding / pictures etc. Very old Furniture Would never eat there .

  • 2/5 President L. 4 years ago on Google
Give the Wi-Fi password! Stop leaving the front desk empty, send someone to do whatever it is or call the area, everytime i have attended a meeting i have had to return to the front desk because no one took me to my destination at this point i can roam the hotel with no consequences/ restrictions as a non-guest, which makes me say no to being one in the future. The front desk area has alot of stuff displayed which are not protected ( its not preserved and looks a mess how its setup) entire place needs proper decor.

Across from Kings House, the resident of the Governor General and just up the road from Jamaica House, the office of the Prime Minister madellian Hall Hotel is uniquely positioned. Great rooms for out of town executive or just a few days get away. Ideal conference area for small conferences and causes. The lobby is uniquely furnished by art pieces selected lby the owner, Mr. Broomfield.
