While the food was good... The food took too long to be ready. The place need security to monitor and man the park areas inside as well as outside because a lot of persons are having their cars broken into and items being stolen.

Drinks were strong and delicious. Waitstaff were courteous and accommodating. Ambiance is perfect for quiet conversations with low top 40 music playing in the background. Because of covid cerfew, the kitchen closes early, so be sure to arrive before 7pm to place your food order (food is made to order).

This is a nice little chill spot-cool and airy, peaceful and in a good location. The music was at a good level so as not to disturb conversation but to create a nice ambience. The drinks were pretty good- they had good liquor content and were well blended. The food was okay, nothing special but it was pretty well-seasoned, filling and inexpensive. The customer service was pretty decent too. The almonds, however, were out attacking humans from above lol look out for them if dining around the back under the tree.

AC did not work, service staff was friendly and willing. Overproof white rum was the horrible knock off....Theo was very professional and trying. You can't substitute fries with the meals...The stamp n go ...was very good

Like the rating this place is a hit or miss depending on the day and how friendly the staff feels. Sometimes good customer service, another time, it’s in keeping with the cost of the food (cheap). Tight on cash and looking for somewhere to eat and drink with friends and catch up? This is an easy choice. Don’t expect great service but it is ok enough.

Nice central location, great ambiance Old World Style Bar inside, nice pool deck outside under a huge Almond Tree. Food is good too. Great place to hang out with friends and entertain guests too.

The location was comfortable for dining and also for conversation. Menu is diverse. We enjoyed beef burrito and a coconut shrimp dish. Bar service good. Prices were reasonable. Pub has a TV screen also to keep up with sports. Not in the cluster of New Kingston or Barbican.

Very casual bar setting. The parking is tight and goes very quickly at night. You may very well have to park outside if there is no space on the property. It is in a cul-de-sac in a residential area so if you drive, don't block people's gates. Typical drink prices for regular, casual, upscale bars in Kingston and they are strong.

Visited the pool and it was reasonably priced for a day pass. The food looked real good too even though I didn't personally sample anything as I was sick. I loved the ambience and if it starts to rain we have the option to move inside. Very nice. Definitely a must visit spot for me in Kingston.

We stayed there 2 nights as our ac at home went dead, lol. We were able to view the rooms before we committed to staying. I liked that. The staff was courteous and pleasant. There was a restaurant close to our room and the pub and restaurant in short walking distance. We were able to take our dessert to our room, and the plates were removed during room service. The room was clean and had the needed amenities. Cons: What I didn't like was we asked for room service the next morning, only to return that night to realize that the brd was made, but the sheets were not changed. My infamous lash was still under the covers, lol. Apart from that it was ok. I felt really safe too. They had adequate security.

This will forever be my favorite chill spot. The food and drinks are always great. The music isn't overwhelming. The wait time is definitely short. I don't think I waited 10 minutes to receive my meal. I ordered the shrimp pasta and my partner, the curry goat and rice and peas. Both were delicious! The curry goat was done to absolute perfection. This place would be ideal for a first date. The prices aren't bad and they have a wide variety of items to choose from to match your pocket.

There has been robbery and theft of motor vehicle parked outside the establishment for sometime. My friends and i went there for drinks on Friday, because of the limited parking space on the inside, we parked outside the establishment. When we were done dining and proceeded to the car, we realize the back window of the car was broken and contents removed from the car. We were told by passersby that the week before a car was stolen, this was confirmed by the police who said "its a robbery hot spot, people like you come in every week to make a report" Management will not tell u this, but if u can't park on the inside, go somewhere else or risk losing your car. BTW outside has no cameras or security to safeguard ur property. Sloppy, slack, careless!

Need to give the receptionist a lesson on customer service. She was extremely hostile and aggressive.

Went to The pub which was an outdoor patio lounge area to have drinks and a bite to eat with friends. It was casual and cozy. I ordered a Appleton mule and it was ok not great but ok. While waited about 45 min for simple chicken wings it was obvious the server didn’t put my order in because it came out 10 minutes later fresh and hot however horribly seasoned with too much paprika and ghost pepper. I enjoy spicy but this lacked taste and flavor.. when I said to the server that he almost made me die from hunger while I waited for my wings, he responded “but you didn’t though”. Not worth the price for the taste. Presentation or service.

The only reason i dont give this place a higher rating is because of the lack of security and unavailability of parking. You may have to park on the road and want to the bar.

Mayfair has always been that getaway chill spot; in my view. Quiet, cool, and relaxing. Downsides are patron who go there and then start smoking their cigarettes in your proximity. Really wish they would do something about that. All in all, it has a vibe for close friends, or even that first date.

They don't accept coins and parking can be a pain if it's a weekend night. But aside from that I come here often, it's pretty nice. Bar food pool plus the smoke shop Mez is on the compound

Not a bad little hang out during this Covid 19 pandemic. The service was pleasant the ambience fair. My biggest gripe was people being allowed to smoke in a public area while patrons are eating I thought smoking was banned in public areas.

Food was good as always. Very affordable. Took a little over an hour to get to us but our past experiences the food took half that time so we'll blame it on it being Friday as the place was busy.

The staff was very interactive and welcoming and the food was delicious, I liked the drinks as well, the atmosphere is what you make it, you can go inside and have a close cosy vibe or stay outside and have a chill vibe I like it there. Overall I had a very good experience, I'm so sad that I didn't remember to take any photos maybe next time 😉

The parking is atrocious. Expect to be blocked in and have to search for drivers to leave the place. The service for food was slow , but the food itself was pretty good. The drink service was swift , and the waitress was courteous. The drinks were also pretty decent. The pool is right beside the eating area so once you don't mind , eating infront of splashing kids that's fine I guess.

I went with a group of 9, we ordered 3 chicken pasta and 1 shrimp pasta, 2 oxtail, 1 brownstew fish, 1 chicken and chips, and chop suey with rice and peas. None of us could have eaten the pasta or the oxtail. We had to return all 6 meals, and of course, we lost our appetite because of that. First and last time going there

Once notorious for its slow service, I was pleased to see an increase in the efficiency of the service and lack of snark among the staff. The atmosphere is good with an option of sitting poolside, on the deck or inside the lounge. The cost of this establishment is by Kingston standards inexpensive and with the food being supplied by the restaurant Julie Mango, you don't have to question the quality of the food.

Good food. The fritters are a must! But the kitchen closes at random times so call first to make sure its open. The cocktails are delicious and if you're not into alcohol there's a decent selection of virgin cocktails, juices and coconut water 😋.

Can you imagine we're sitting at the table for 20 mins now and not a soul has come to take our drink order. There's a waitress here but she's up under the arms of an old man instead of taking our orders, even getting a head massage from him and sitting with them kekeing 🙄. Second time here but if my first time was like this I was never gonna come back, not sure I'll be back after tonight.

A great place to unwind and have drinks… the bar and restaurant are not together so food service might be slow if there are a lot of people. Weed smoking is not allowed… only cigarettes (slightly disappointed by this as there is a tobacco/vape shop on the grounds and also… which is more easy on the nose?). I did find a small area to smoke thought discreetly without being bothered.

Went to The Pub for some food and drinks, the drinks was nice but i guess they were busy 🤔 on the side that served the drinks...i really dont know. Even though the food wasnt the best, the service from that server was great. I would love to go back just to get her name, she made our night at the table and truth be told wasnt gonna order any food because of the service until she came over #Keeper. If it wasnt for the food and the server i would have given my experience zero star (if there is such a thing). Anyone who have a business should know that if the service is poor, no matter how good the drinks it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Went to The Pub for my birthday in 2020. Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger. The patties were juicy and well seasoned, the bacon was crispy. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. And the buns were nice and soft. It wasn't crowded. Covid precautions were being taken. The waiter was patient as she took my order. The food was very affordable, the waitress was very kind and patient. The food came out in a timely manner, and there was music being played. Very nice woot for a drink with friends. Very quiet and hidden. Poor service. Waited very long for food and for the bill. The drinks were below par. The chicken kebabs were very well cooked and tender. The chicken and shrimp quesadillas were good as well. I'm not sure I would return strictly because of service.

The open air concept was okay but when loud patrons are around it helps to mellow the vibes. Although the waiting time was a tips long, the food was off the charts! I would recommend a smoking section 'down wind' for those patrons who loves to puff.

The ambiance is good but the service sucks. My husband and I went to The Pub tonight. We decided to sit at their outdoor sitting. A server came and we were given drink menu and a QR code to scan for the food menu. We were then told that a different server will take the order for the food but she will take the order for the drinks. So after 2 beers and 30 minutes, the server for the food didnt show up. The server for the drink didnt even bother to check up on us, she just kept lingering around a group of customers in the next table. So we decided to pay for the 2 beers, left and went elsewhere. I do not recommend this place to anybody who expect better customer service.
