This hospital is very vital it's been the home of a lot of kids growing up for optimum care the staffs work effortlessly to ensure the kids are seen immediately and dealt with immediately the nurses and doctors are great and has been providing the best service they could offer all parents can speak about this hospital in the most highly way. I am not yet a parent but I've been here for my little sister she was very sick and fragile growing up she's in the best health and grown now I've been here for other people kids and it's always the same great health care system.

Most of the female doctors, nurses and other staff members behave like hooligans. I was so upset and disappointed at their behavior towards patients and the public. Us Jamaicans need to practice better customer service and stop treating each other like animals. Why are we so angry and hateful towards each other, I don't know smh... Anyways, I gave five stars to the doctors and nurses who are passionate about their job and do it to the best of their ability. My daughter is alive today because of them, and I thank them so much. I am really grateful and wish I could see them again to thank them in person.

Service is generally good but slow at times. There can be a bit of language issue because some of the staff are not Jamaican. If your child is admitted, parents can't stay on the ward with them after 6 pm. That is just crazy considering how under staffed they are.

It was my first time visiting the Children hospital and I must say I was impressed after the horror stories I was told. The staff was friendly and I got threw fairly quickly. The Doctor was patient with me and my daughter love him. The environment and the place was pretty clean. Some of the security guards a little aggressive but not to me . I followed instructions and was in and out of there...

My daughter did a surgery there and I must say some of the nurses were very helpful some not so much. Some act as if they are too good to talk to the parents. I want to big up the orthopedic dept for a job well done so far. Dr Clarke on ward one a the boss. Easy to talk to and very efficient in his work and his work ethics is very good. The wait time has drastically cut down at out patient dept and that's a plus. A&E not so bad since lately but the level of customer service from the drs and nurses in that dept needs improvement.

By far the worst hotel in Jamaica. Poor hygiene by the nurses. They donโ€™t wash hands between patients. My child was admitted there and every time a nurse comes to check her they had to be reminded to wash their hands. If admitted donโ€™t ever leave your child alone. They will never look at your child. I rate this hospital less than a 1 star. You are better off going to UWI Hospital. I had to book a specialist privately because the hospital didnโ€™t have one. My child appointment was at 8.00am and the hospital told us they would arrange an ambulance. The ambulance did not arrive until 10.00am.

Poor service all round from the moment you enter the gate, I mean I know we are strapped for cash in this country but better trained staff can be hired, from the security service that is provided, even the canteen area. A real reform is needed because everyone disregards the seriousness of each situation and poor time manage

On February 10, 2023, my daughter, Arriella was in this hospital. Arriella was treated well. Iโ€™ve been rude most of my life but ainโ€™t nobody gonna tell me that I donโ€™t love my daughter! That physician lost his cotton picking mind! That unprofessional bizarre doctor can suck his mother! He can call me a mad woman all he wants because no oneโ€˜s gonna tell me that I donโ€™t love Arriella Carty. Yea man! Call me mad woman all you want. I gotta do what I gotta do from afar! Yโ€™all get a one star.๐Ÿ˜ก Thank God for technology!

January 6th/2024 I had to visit the Bustamante children hospital with my nephew. Dante fell approximately 8feet to the ground. He was admitted for the trauma and broken wrist. Other than the hospital needing some TLC in and out of the building, and care to the hand washing stations for the nurses, and the lack of toilet paper in the bathroom (walk with your own when visiting Jamaica) my overall experience was pleasantly surprising that within the first two hours he saw two doctors, had an x-ray and a plan was made is impressive for Jamaica ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ. I was also impressed with the fact that the x-rays were online to view within minutes. Dante had to get surgery the next day because he was noncompliance with the manual part of fixing his wrist, it went well and they worked with us to be at the airport by Monday afternoon. Tuesday morning we went to the hospital in Canada ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ and they x-ray again quoting โ€œJamaica did a good job with the retraction, we are just going to change the castโ€ A big thank you to the orthopedists surgeon and doctor's at the Bustamante Children Hospital.

This is my 4th experience visiting the Childrenโ€™s Hospital in Jamaica. Firstly I must commend the administrators for the revolutionize customer service. From the guard at the main gate to the Janitors Nurses, Doctors and registration customer service team. I was in shock & awe. The hospitalโ€™s tranquility was felt throughout my duration. Which was time sensitive based on the professional medical care rendered to my son. Dated this 18th day of December 2021 from 1:30am-7:00am. Well done team I really appreciate the service๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

Very commendable childrenโ€™s hospital. Our Jamaican born baby was confined and treated here for 2 weeks. Yes given some buildings are old, but the system and quality of services are great. On top of all, its free for Jamaican children.

They are very slow there in terms of urgency they have none.. but at the same time, there is the best place to take your child.

It's unfortunate that this is the only place that healthcare is free of cost for Jamaicas children. Even on an empty day like today the wait time still took forever! Do better!

Friendly and professional staff who don't leave you in the dark about issues you are concerned about. Buildings/Facilities could be better modernized. Customer service and patient care are A1+

The wait time is horrible, the place is depressing, ward is crowded with patients, no parking on compounds you have to park outside and pray to God no one steals your car!! The lack of empathy from some staff members not to mention the attitude. You are not allowed to stay with your child again and you have to wonder how they are being treated by nurses and PCAs once you've left. The overpriced food shop. But I must admit that the doctors do everything to ensure your child is well again.

There's no way a person should be waiting to see a doctor about the health of their child for 9/10 hours, that's ridiculous. Then when you try to ask questions of express your frustration you get attitude from staff. All I really want to say is, they don't really care about us!

Itโ€™s so sad that thereโ€™s a number placed here for people to get to the hospital.but no matter how many time I call ,thereโ€™s no answer. Thatโ€™s just bad. This doesnโ€™t even worth a star .
