Our wedding reception was held here in Feb 2023, the hospitality and service was good and the meal was great....most of all the price package was super cost effective. The decor needs improvement but you can add your own touch to the basic decoration they provided. I would definitely recommend though.....

First I want to thank Pollyanna for catering to my Mother's Birthday. In terms of a review, I had a price increase in the middle of negotiating for the venue, go figure! The place is really not fancy but they do their best to decorate the inside for you, the staff is also nice. You may like the food but I'm not a rice and peas and chicken guy so definitely not my thing. Overall I would say give them a try.

On 11/12/22 I had my destination wedding at Pollyanna's Caterers, and that was the biggest mistake of my life. The service that my guests and I received was mediocre, compared to amount I spend for my ceremony and reception. Firstly, On my wedding day the lead cook contacted me and told me she could not cater to my wedding guests. I was in shock/anxious because I spoke to the company's assistant prior to my wedding day and confirmed my numbers. How unprofessional was this!!! It's evident staff doesn't communicate or have an overseer because this should not have happened. Secondly, the DJ did not know what he was doing. When he was to play the exit song of the ceremony, he was not paying attention, which caused a delay, resulting in my husband and I standing at the alter looking at each other wondering what was happening. Also, we sent our wedding playlist months before our wedding day, and he did not play most of the songs.Things seemed to get worse as the night progress. At the reception, the food was COLD and TASTELESS, I didn't eat any of it, and I found a fruit fly in my juice!!! Disappointed is an understatement to describe my experience. I would not recommend this venue to ANYONE!

Have a nice garden area to the back and a good cabana area but if you don't have over 100 grand for venue this isn't the place for you

Prompt & excellent service! Our glasses were never empty beyond a minute or so due to the staff constantly attending to us. The space indoors was wide with plenty of seating. Parking was readily available.

The location is good for weddings and events however I wish the lighting was better in the nights. It would be good if the lighting was all the same color temperature. Photographers would appreciate that.

I gave a 3 because I have all the instructions for my event. On the day I still had to be saying this should go here this colour is wrong that should happen put this here. During my event persons were not being served can't enough and it was just chaos. The test dish I tasted was really good not on my event day it was not

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception here July 2023. Our low review is because of the numerous complaints of attitude towards our guests. Multiple guests complained that the staff had an attitude, one guest recalled that she asked where the restroom was and the server rolled her eyes. Also some guests bearly got any food and we were reassured that this would not be the case. I don't understand the reason for lack of proper customer service, or just the common courtesy to be nice!!! I must say it's very disappointing to hear, especially since the servers were nice to the head table.

Beautifully painted, decorated and air conditioned space. However, not very large. I did not stay for cocktails and so I am unable to speak to the dining experience. Excellent parking situated in a beautiful space.

Thank you for making my husband and I wedding a special one on 9/3/2023. The food was amazing big shot out to the chef and the whole entire staff. Great customer service reasonable wedding package. A night to remember. No complaints. Keep up the great work. Thanks you for decorating in my favorite color

Pollyanna was at it usual best, the staff was very professional, very attentive to the guest, however the in house selector can be more attentive to his assigned duties

The food and drink was really good. The location was convenient for those near Cross Roads and New Kingston.

The food was tasteless and in the middle of the reception toast these people were coming to us to tell us that we have gone over the time, as if we were gonna run off. Further, the staff was cold and unprofessional, I felt like a bother when I was speaking to them and overall the experience with them was distasteful.

Very good food and ambiance. A place to do wedding party, birthday party, anniversary party or a formal event. However they were to cater for sixty guests but they ran out of food with only forty guests. The head table was not served first or appropriately. I ordered two special meals with dietary restrictions months in advance and was promised them at the event. At the event there were no special meals. Latet when I questioned what happen later, the kitchen stated nothing was ever told to them.

Delicious menu. I ordered 2 Roast stuffed chickens with rice and peas to add to my Christmas menu. The stuffing was delicious, I would eat it as a side dish. The Roast Chicken was moist. Would love some gravy with my next order.

Great place to have a small wedding! Not sure if they have bigger rooms to accommodate longer groups.

The experience was very disappointing. Poor customers service; Waitresses displayed rude behaviour and ignores requests and for the food I will not comment sorry. It was my first time and it will be the last I will not recommend this place recommend anyone else so sorry. Please top of your service if u planned to to business

The group was late but the venue and staff were as pleasant as ever. All smiles while serving and helpful with menu choices.

Let me just say this, parents got married here, best friend reception was here so no wonder my place of choice for wedding and reception. Prices reasonable, customer service great, food good, cake good and my guests were pleased.

Their new venue at the back - La Vida, is an excellent venue for parties and other events. The property managers are very accommodating and otherwise helpful.

Excellent place for receptions or any other private event. Food was good, service was good, dj was awesome decorations were excellent. Venue was adequately lighted and air conditioning was great. Cocktails were served on point, Serving time for food was good. Overall a good experience.

Nice spot for a banquet or in this case a wedding

Great space for any function, however, they should invest in an enclosed capable tent for the rainy days. The food was OK, they should not be serving unfiltered tap water at a function and their servers should advise the table that it is before serving.

This is a nice location to have you functions such as wedding receptions, anniversaries, banquets and dinners. The venue is situated near several hotels and sports facilities and it has several areas available so multiple functions can take place at the same time. The complex appeared secured and there was ample parking at the location. The staff was friendly and professional and the food was ok (I gave the meals 3 stars out of 5).There are also ample restroom facilities for their guests.

Do you want to have an event and be blown away by courteous staff, quick response times, flawless set up and delicious food?? Well guess what, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. Clearly they are used to be praised for subpar services but after a recent event at this venue, it's officially on my BLACK LIST. Not only did did they fail to set up on time for my event after I asked numerous times and was told 'just easy man' and 'don't worry' but their staff members are clearly not paid nor treated well. The tax office moves faster than their servers! Also, they need a lesson in customer service and catering too. I pray they invest in a chef who knows how to properly prepare meals and not make tough, burnt chicken and TERRIBLE rice. They deserved an award for WORST RICE AND PEAS IN THE WORLD. Also, how does a wedding venue not have a fridge to store a wedding cake ? Seems like a lack of common sense to me. Congratulations to Pollyanna Caterers for receiving the Worst Wedding Venue in Jamaica. P.S- the only reason they get a star is because it needs at least 1 in order to post.

Proven to be the best catering service in Kingston. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food is nothing less than amazing.

I served as an MC there today. They were excellent, just as at all the other times I have been their. Camille, Sharon and the new young man working there were very hospitable and courteous; it was great interacting with them. They were also very quick and efficient in their service delivery.
