I am extremely disappointed in this resort. We arrived to our room missing a television, refrigerator unplugged, WiFi not working and hot water turned off. To make matters worse they collected payment before we could tell if we were satisfied, but this is our fault because we should not have trust them. I would highly suggest going to a different resort in Port Antonio because they also lacked urgency in fixing our many issues. Do not recommend! If I could give zero stars I would.

Rooms didn't have basic amenities. No toilet paper, no comforter, no soap, no towels and an AC that didn't work... & that's just the tip of the iceberg. When we alerted the front desk there was absolutely no urgency in solving the problems. I would never stay there again.

This is also a backpacker stop , a place where you know you can lay down just to sleep so you can be on your way to your adventures during the day or night whichever you choose but you are not there for comfort it is not for comfort mattress and pillows are not comfortable.no AC only fans .dirty fans and full of critters, cobweb in your rooms or room. Outdated furnitures. Dirty smudgy floor and windows. And the bathroom is disgusting as you can see. It is walking distance to Blue lagoon attractions.

Even though my trip was short i really enjoyed the surrounding, pleasant staff and a view of the famous Blue Lagoon and Caribbean sea that took my breath away.

I love there.it was excellent. And food was geat.and staff nice.

This was by far one of my greatest experiences ever. The customer service was beyond excellent from the moment we drove up to the gate until the very moment we left. Because of how intimate the resort is, my partner and I basically got our own private chef. Chef Nicole was AWESOME!! They even decorated our room for our anniversary Will definitely be coming back.

I think it was wonderful. The most beautiful beach and the nicest people you can imagine. If I have not dreamed then it was really so.

This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel. It is the only hotel located directly on the Lagoon, with 3 pools and a beach with a bar/restaurant and tables/chairs on the beach. The staff were amazing and helped us with everything from arranging a chef to cook for us, helping carry luggage up the steep stairs, and organizing a rafting trip for us. The hotel itself is a bit older and needs some upgrades, but the surroundings make up for the rooms. Lush foliage and beautiful flowers surround the hotel. If you have bad knees or problems walking, this isn't the place for you as it is incredibly steep and difficult climb down to the Lagoon. But other than that, it's perfect. Will definitely be back next year! Absolutely the best place to stay in Portland.

This place is in a really lovely location and very thoughtful built. Its only drawback is service and presentation. Hopefully, they get these right now that things are getting better after the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The rooms were comfortable and the food delicious!

If you want a romantic getaway then its one of the best places to try out, the staff was friendly. The area at the end of the trail is very secluded and peaceful.

Rooms and staff were friendly and nice..food/bar was 4x the cost of a local places and wasnt what u told u would get but over all it was nice.. no Wi-Fi

Let's start off by saying "DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL". Everything about it was garbage. I originally booked the Black Mango suit and ended up with what they called the plantain instead. In the plantain the wifi, and hot water does not work. That very night I arrived they were notified of that and nothing was done. The following morning we saw a gentleman whom I later learned was the owner son and he's the one pretty much running the place. Told him of the mistake and he guaranteed me that it would be fix upon my return as I was leaving for breakfast because the restaurant, bar and pool was closed and not working at all. Staffing: Staffs apparently shows up to work when the feel like it... which was 3pm in the evening so all morning the office was closed and know one to assist you with anything. Office staff go to the rooms with the cleaning staff and just sit on her phone in there when they're not both sitting around just gossiping. Only professional staff was Teneisha she was the only one trying to fix the damage and due to the fact that it was just one disappointment after the next it was almost impossible for her to fix it. She should be the one running this place and not the son he is just running his father's business into the ground. Teneisha guaranteed me a 50% refund which I have not received still. This place is not worth the money. An Inn would've been a 5 star compare to this place. To the owner of this place it has potential but please do your self a favor and get staffs that shows up at work on time and have good people skills and shows professionalism 2. Get someone that as good business management skills and experience to over see your business. STILL WAITING ON MY REFUND.
