I took th4ese 2 pictures as we were entering port in '84. Like Key West, we pulled in just long enough to refuel. Never had the opportunity to go ashore. But it was interesting. As we lay tied up to the pier, taking on fuel, officers were stationed at strategic points along the inboard side. Why? Because on the pier were several locals with bags of weed for sale! I'll bet it was good weed, too.

Safety is number one priority down by The wharf which is very good helps you from getting yourself hurt by any of the trucks as the reflecting vest helps them to see you much easier.

Cool location,the breeze from sea was the best especially in this heat.

Pretty much always a long wait but I'd like to assume its procedures why it takes so longer. I don't like how they treat my packages for instance the barrels.
