There is no longer the factory there, however the good year oval is immediately beside the barren land that used to house the good year factory. Over the oval is a nice field that persons often times enjoys a game of cricket as well as to keep fit. There is a restaurant and bar up where the spectators would be seated so one can enjoy a sip with food. The land that housed the factory is at most times heavily bushed and provides no scenery or sense of security.

Now, for the people of St Thomas, the Old GoodYear is an Eyesore as we enter the Round-About approaching our Main Town Center ... ( over- looking the Cemetery ) ... We now pray to see this restored or to be put to sensible use Very Soon ...

Not much to see here for now, unless you're a duppy. Awaiting the multi-billion refurb that alongside the new road will lift and transform the fortunes of the area.

👍 Went there not knowing the statue was removed. There wasn't anything online that would justify the removal of the statue and I felt that if the removal of a national monument such as that there should be a rationale for it and be it public. Nonetheless, the courthouse looks good with the old guns in...
