Would have given 4 stars if the service was consistent but the short dude with the beard and ball head spoilt it. Food is ok and all but when he serves you will complain. I didn't even bother taking pics of the food because on Saturday I was pleased with my serving(served by one of the females) but on tuesday March 5th was not. I paid $700 to have 2 different meat and ended up with less meat than when I paid $600 (clearly the server is prob) added to the fact that the rest of the food was also limited in the serving. I mentioned that the meat was not enough and was told that "it's two meat" as if he was making sense.. I figured if you payed more than regular they would give you value for money but not here. You can't have people like him dealing with customers... That part should be done by pleasant people who can help to retain customers with pleasant service... Not this dude who ensures I'm not coming back.

Food was delicious, however the service is incredibly poor as it seems to depend on who knows who. *Update- 5/Apr They definitely seem to be doing better with the orders. The jury is still out on the done to orders.

Food is generally good with quite a variety of options. The attempt at a rustic but tropical atmosphere is decently executed. A few customer service issues but those can be remedied. One of the better lunch places in downtown Kingston.

The food tasted like dinner at home on a Sunday afternoon. Loved the presentation n the staff was very courteous. Fried chicken soak to the bone.

The restaurant recently changed their name to "Island Pan" doing pop ups at different locations in Kingston. I bought from them when they were at Red Hills Rd.I took the Jerk Chicken. There was a wait but I wasn't in a rush. While traveling back to home I smelled the box and it had a rancid smell, so I had to give the meal to the dog. The chicken was in the process of deterioration.

I had a mix of fried fish and stew pork. Let me say now that it's not work writing on here about.. I paid $1100 for less than a serving and although the rice and peas was piping hot, both proteins may as well have been in the fridge. Not to mention that there was sugar or something in the pork and the fish was fried bone dry... I've been there before and it was good, I don't know what happened; maybe the chef changed. The ambiance is nice though as they have a man made indoor river with fish and turtles and good dining space. I must commend them for that. Temperature: HOT! Wear summer clothes. No a/c here..

the area is clean I just cant seems to enjoy the meal the rice always tuff and the meat no matter which one I pick seems like a bad choice. Their boiled food however is worth the try and their turnkey neck.

Food looks great on picture but that isn't the case when you buy it. Some days are tasty, some are not so good. It's better to order ahead or you'll end up spending forever to get through. Customer service is ridiculous also. I've called and made a complaint about oxtail lunches I ordered that were quite disappointing for the money and not once did I get an apology or offered any remedy for the issue. All I heard was "ok, we'll call you back." It has been almost 6 months- no call back.

The ambiance was good. Very islandy. Beautiful setup with inside and outside dining area. There are TVs outside for entertainment. This is a good place to have a casual lunch date with friends. But it's not fine dining. The food is served in styrofoam boxes. The food was ok. The customer service was good. I've only been once to grab lunch and go but I'd go back. Mostly for the decor. I like the decor. Giving the place decor 4 stars. The food wasn't special. It was ok. I had stew chicken and sweet potatoes. I tasted their turn cornmeal and it was delicious

The food is typical Jamaican dishes with some more upscale dishes done to order. The service needs to be improved. Be prepared to wait even if you had called in your order

The food is good. It is consistent but the customer service is atrocious. I usually walk to the restaurant ,even though is it far from my workplace, but today I made the decision to take advantage of their delivery service. That was a BIG MISTAKE. I called in my order from 11:50 am and received my food at 1:30 pm. To give context that is ONE HOUR AND 40 MINUTES LATER. It gets worse, as each time I called to find out about the order I was either told it would be there in 15 minutes or it was on its way. That is unacceptable. When the MANAGER came to deliver the food, he made unjustifiable and unacceptable excuses. Therefore, because of this incident I will no longer be purchasing food from this restaurant.
