Great food and a great atmosphere with courteous and friendly staff. My favorite meal there is the curried chicken breakfast served with their fried dumplings, a must have! Their meal containers are always well packed with food, so it is definitely value for your money.

Barbe-fried chicken is a must have when I'm in kingston. The food at Chicken & Tings reminds me of home. The food is well-seasoned, well-cooked and well-presented. Their fried dumpling is another favourite of mine. Customer service is very good as well. In years to come, there will be a chicken & tings in each parish 😉

The taste of the food is great than average

Around 11:00 today, we ordered 2 stewed fish with rice and pease and one chicken and chips. Staff said the fish was cooked but the sauce wasn’t ready and it would be a 10 minute wait. We paid (big mistake) for the order and sat down. The wait was 23 minutes and the rice WAS NOT EDIBLE because it was BURNT, and the chicken and chips was ready 10 min. Later. We told the cashier about the burnt rice and she IGNORED us. Husband asked if I could have chips in place of the rice and she totally IGNORED us again. At that point I wanted to just leave and never return. On the way out I put some trash in the waste bin. IT WAS FILLED WITH BURNT RICE THAT OTHER DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS HAD THROWN AWAY. Horrible, horrible service. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD THAT IS NOT BURNT.

I always enjoy my meal from this restaurant. And I love the view from above looking down on the busy streets.

its very disappointing the chicken look like dry overnight chicken it was horrible and taste very horrible am not ordering no more chicken and fries from them again...........they need to do better.

You get a nice home cOoked meal and the price is right...tO top it off theres a chill spot there where youb can have a drink while dinning....A nuce place to be.

The only food that is worth eating here is the fried chicken with rice and peas or fries. The breakfast served The boil banana is about three days old because it’s extremely soft and the stew chicken is not fresh it’s disgusting.

Ordered two barbi-fried chicken and fries and when the food came we got rice instead. We called about it and they literally hang up and told us that they were going to call back twice and I had to be the one to call back. They didn't want to take accountability for the fact that they were the ones that messed up the order. Upon calling back they wanted us to pay for fries and delivery again after we already paid for our food and they sent wrong order. The rice wasn't even cooked properly and the chicken tasted like overnight chicken.This isn't the first time this has happened. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO BUY HERE!!!

I visited this place today, September 8, 2023 and the Cashier and entire staff need training in good customer service and professionalism. No sah, Mr Chicken and Ting, these ladies are going to make your business closed FOREVER if you do not listen to we the concerned customers. I have been supporting this place for over a decade...and after today's experience, it maybe the last. Act now and i wish i could give my experience today, a -1star.

The food here is great and they usually have big serving sizes. The prices have gone up recently though. I normally go here for lunch and I hardly ever have to wait for long, or at all. Most time I'm in and out in just a few minutes. The service is usually great.

First time trying their food. I had a large chicken and chips. It was great. Good customer service. Took about 10 minutes to get my food. The security guard sanitized my hand and tried to maintain social distancing. The music was nice. Totally recommend.

Well I love the taste and quality of the food but I have a lot to say regarding to how they sell the food eg portion. Now if you a large food and your entitled to 3 pieces of chicken they are giving you the 3 pieces with a wing in it even if u say u don't eat wing they say you will get two pieces because all the 3 pieces you have to get a wing but you still pay for the 3 peices even tho you didn't take the wing. I feel that is heights of robbery in a intelligent way. But besides I love the cashier they are always pleasant and punctual.

Extremely disappointed with the chicken and chips I bought. How can you get this wrong when your "specialty" is serving chicken? All pieces were undercooked, almost raw. This not only ruined my appetite but also raised concerns about food safety and quality standards at the establishment. Totally unacceptable and a deeply unsatisfying experience. I would not recommend this outlet to others. Spend your money elsewhere !!!

I was dying of hunger the other day and I stopped at one of your locations...I purchased a 850 chicken and fries and when I opened the box mi almost drop down, inly two small pieces if chicken with a handfull of fries...unuh fi stop it, a wah dat unuh a serve inns box? I called the location and whom ever I spoke to hung up in my ears. Very uncouth.

Chicken and Things is an easily accessible restaurant located on Half Way Tree Road in Kingston, and offers affordable meals. While I enjoy their French Fried Chicken, I am not a fan of their Rice and Peas because it fails to hit that authentic Jamaican taste I am accustomed to. Their menu is also a bit static (the offering doesn't change much) and sometimes the wait to get your meals served are too long. When it comes on to providing serving amount however, they are one of the best for your $. I often buy breakfast their and I am 90% always satisfied with the portion received. Speaking of breakfast, I believe there needs to be some improvement in the menu too because it too is a bit too static. Overall, they are not bad but there is room for improvement in quality and variety.

Ruined my fiance's birthday. Had places listed that they don't deliver to and his area was not on it. Therefore we ordered online and waited 1.5 hours. contacted them to check on our order. Only after I had paid over 5k for the order and questioned the whereabouts of the order did they say they don't deliver to where he stays. So there's no telling how long we would have been waiting had we not checked on the order. Bad business. I will never order from them again. And the refund is going to take 5 to 10 business days🤣. Ridiculous.

This restaurant is the only restaurant I buy food apart from the fast food restaurants such as KFC n Burger King etc. You need your hardcore home cook meal such as fry, chicken, brown stew chick, oxtail, curry goat, stew peas etc. It's a pretty decent restaurant.

If I could give this place a zero rating I would. They are very tacky and unprofessional. I ordered food online yesterday, today is a new day and I am yet to receive the food. I waited for them and they never showed up. My delivery was in half way tree. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed. Good thing I was paying cash. I have never had this experience before this is the worst. People don't waste your time. Maybe they did me a favor maybe I would not have enjoyed the food either.

I ordered food online, the delivery guy call me gave hotel address. The delivery guy said he was on his way. I explained to him having issues with the phone sometimes, He said it's ok what's your room number, I said 402 was sitting waiting for my food. He never showed up, I called the next day, to see what happened. Lady put me on mute and never came back to the phone. Who ever owns wings and things some of them need customer service training, glad I chose to pay with cash or I probably be call credit card company to get my refund back!! I would love to see more rice being shared in each servings because they always been serving a little bit of rice covered by all these meat and gravy and that's not how true Jamaican parents serve food to their family raising them. Each servings should always consist of a much larger portion of rice than the meat kind in one servings. I don't know how people can be comfortable with having 3 large pieces of chicken with such little rice, that's crazy to me, which is why I try avoiding their chicken meals. I've realize that most Jamaicans love seeing plenty meat with little bit of rice and I'm not aware of when that shift in our culture had occurred. However these are people who care little to none about their health why they would prefer so much meat with such little serving of rice to make up their meal. PS. The delivery rate is very costly when one have to pay $500 I would have they look into all this.

I’ve ordered food here several times and when delivered, the riders never come with change and you never get exactly what you ordered. I would not recommend ordering for delivery.

I had to wait over an hour. Persons that cashed after me got through and no one updated me on what was happening with my meal. I asked when i realised what was happening and had to wait another 30mims to get my meal. They didnt have the part of the chicken i wanted and no one communicated. When i eventually got my food they just handed it to me. No bag or anything. No apology.

The one on shortwood road rice on and off this time it cook good the next time it don’t either it half cook or too much water lately the food fresh

When they move to the Shortwood road they food was excellent, customer service was good. Now that they have expanded the restaurant, the food quality had dropped customer service has also decreased, I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy lunch or dinner at this location because you will be waisting your money.
