Authentic cuisine. Customized to your liking. Very small shop but everyone feels like family.

The atmosphere inside is quite clinical, but the is a nice rooftop space where you can eat. The portions are not large, which isn't a problem, but the menu is entirely misleading in this regard. The appetizer pictures, for example, show five pieces of a given dish, and then you actually receive three. The cauliflower dish was especially paltry; tasty but not large enough for splitting and laughably smaller than what is shown in the menu. Still, the food is solid. It is also quite pricey

Superior Arab(Syrian/Lebanese?)/Mediterranean food - excellent quality meat and salad ingredients cooked with skill, especially the lamb kebab. Probably the best Arab restaurant cuisine in Kingston. Mostly Arab customers when I visited for lunch

So went to Maketplace on Constant Spring Rd only to find that most of the restaurants were closed on Mondays. After talking to the guard for a few minutes, he recommended Shams. Well I'm so glad he did, the food was delicious and the service great. After tucking in I realized that I should have taken some pictures but I highly recommend this restaurant.

A quintessential little space, but full of soo much flavor and the owner preps these authentic Mediterranean dishes. Delectable meeting spot and doesn't take all 🤑 You've got . Ps. Coffee and tea is complimentary .....just ask 😋

One of the best food I had in Jamaica, big menu, lots of salads, meet, vegetarian, and very very reasonable prices.

Shams was amazing, definitely an hidden gem on Market Place. The owner was really pleasant and the food is the best. Can’t wait to go again

The food here is delicious. Fresh salads, yummy Hummus, the meats are nicely seasoned, and the pita is made fresh. The lemonade and coconut water were refreshing.

A bit pricey but absolutely delicious! Ordered through Hugo and the presentation was superb you can tell they care about their food. Kibbeh came cripsy great flavour, hummus is smooth and tasty and the sambousek forgive for the spelling but absolutely amazing!

Portions are very off you don’t get a lot of meat, mostly vegetables. Got a wrap with pure lettuce and about 4 tiny piece of chicken spread out inside the wrap. Feel a bit robbed. Beirut is a better option for Arab food in market place.

Food is great! Simple as that.

Food is great. Love the pitas especially. Besides when you walk in and see a bunch of guys enjoying their food and drink and speaking Arabic, you know you're in an authentic place. Further edit. The Kibbehs are delicious. Crispy on the outside and hot and delicious on the inside with the perfect balance of beef and bulgur wheat and spices. It’s the most common request I have to take with me when I travel to the States. Even more than Jamaican patties!

A little expensive but you deserve it
