How
do
I
even
start?
The
one
star
goes
to
the
porters,
the
cleaners
and
the
decent
Security
Officers
there,
because
there
are
a
few.
The
customer
service
(it's
a
sin
to
call
what
most
of
the
workers
at
this
'hospital'
offer
service)
is
APPALLING.
Security
Guards,
Customer
Service
Reps,
nurses,
doctors,
just
the
system
of
the
hospital
is
just
HORRENDOUS.
For
any
matter
requiring
you
to
go
to
Accident
&
Emergency
be
prepared
for
a
7-12
hour
wait
before
you
are
seen
by
a
doctor
who
will
make
a
determination
about
your
situation.
They
issue
vague
instructions
such
as
"go
over
there
by
the
curtain
to
have
an
ECG
done",
but
while
you
wait
by
the
curtain
for
no
less
than
an
hour
or
more,
thinking
you
just
have
to
be
patient
until
someone
come
starts
dealing
with
you,
frustration
starts
setting
in,
so
you
may
see
a
nurse
&
ask
her
who
is
supposed
to
be
doing
the
ECG
and
she
will
tell
you
with
attitude
"you
have
to
ask
someone
to
do
it".
How
would
patients
and
their
relatives
know
that?
Or,
if
they
tell
you
to
"stand
there
and
wait
for
your
name
to
be
called"
again
in
excess
of
an
hour
is
when
you
will
finally
try
to
find
out
what
is
happening
&
that's
when
they
will
say
"oh,
go
to
screening".
They,
doctors
and
nurses,
offer
no
helpful
information
that
can
lessen
the
time
spent
there
that's
just
making
ill
patients
even
more
ill
from
just
sheer
frustration
and
they
are
the
epitome
of
lack
of
care
and
indifference.
Registration
staff
are
sour
and
unpleasant.
Customer
Service
staff
are
indifferent
and
mostly
unhelpful.
If
you
don't
know
you're
supposed
to
get
a
pass,
Customer
Service
is
not
going
to
offer
the
information
to
say
'you
have
to
put
your
name
down
for
a
pass
back
into
A&E
to
see
the
person
you
brought
in'.
They
all
act
as
if
you
know
the
place
and
how
it
operates.
So
my
advice
is,
if
you
ever
have
to
visit
this
place,
don't
take
the
instruction
at
face
value
and
don't
stand
there
patiently
waiting,
you'll
regret
it.
Ask
questions
and
keep
asking
questions
until
someone
deals
with
you.
The
same
doctor
who
has
been
dealing
with
you
on
and
off
from
the
beginning
asks
the
same
question
over
a
dozen
times.
You
are
screened
by
the
nurse
who
asked
the
same
question,
so
if
it's
not
on
the
screening
sheet
and
the
patient
has
already
verbally
answered
in
excess
of
3
times
about
his/her
medical
history,
why
continue
to
waste
time
asking
the
same
thing
over
and
over?
Is
it
just
to
look
like
they're
doing
something?
Some
of
the
Security
Guards
are
another
story.
Some
are
good,
but
a
few
of
them
are
just
sleazy.
Nobody
have
time
to
be
flirting
with
security
when
their
relative
is
in
medical
distress.
They
need
to
do
their
jobs,
help
where
they
can
and
keep
it
moving.
The
nurses
gossip
about
their
personal
business
right
in
front
of
patients
with
no
care.
I
don't
care
if
you
are
just
checking
the
glucose
level
in
my
urine,
I
DO
NOT
want
anyone
who's
not
related
to
me
or
serve
a
medical
purpose
in
the
room.
This
happens
at
this
hospital.
All
hospital
staff
should
be
oriented
in
a
way
to
understand
that
when
someone
comes
into
a
hospital
because
of
medical
issues,
they
are
already
at
a
disadvantage,
so
there's
no
need
to
kick
the
dog
while
it's
down
with
your
foul
attitudes,
unnecessarily
extended
and
frustrating
time
at
a
hospital.
You
already
have
the
advantage
over
the
patient.
The
A&E
and
other
sections
connecting
to
it
including
the
waiting
area
has
leaking
roof,
with
the
slab
sections
showing
signs
of
fungus
in
the
roof
and
the
tiled
sections
showing
the
water
stains
on
the
tiles.
For
the
amount
of
money
these
hospitals
get
the
mattress
for
the
bed
in
the
ECG
area
is
falling
apart
and
the
place
just
shows
signs
of
dilapidation.
Being
at
this
place
is
like
a
punishment
and
I
am
now
convinced
that
if
hell
has
a
realm
on
earth,
it's
called
Spanish
Town
Public
Hospital.
