I like Baywest Medical and have visited over 3 locations: Baywest Plaza, Fairview and Halfmoon. The doctors that I have interacted with were ok for the most part, however the front desk staff really needs training at the Fairview and Baywest locations. I really don’t understand how anyone could take on such a job and not be personable, polite and courteous. In less than a week I have had bad experiences at both locations mentioned. The lady with the braids at Baywest Plaza needs to be brought down from her high horse and learn proper phone etiquette and how to talk to people in general. One would think that they are begging for something at these medical centers based on the way the front desk staff treats people. Get it together Dr.Spencer, get your staff together.

It was the most awful experience I have had visiting a doctor. Firstly the receptionists had horrible manners and have no idea how to speak to customers. The GP I visited Dr Neil has a horrible attitude, he proceeded to gave me a lecture on my makeup and and the clothes I wear when I expressed to him that my surgery is so expensive that I will have to save for it. He is very rude and condescending. I find the other doctors there quite pleasant though so if you visit try to see any other if possible.

The front desk staff and nurses are unprofessional and unfriendly. This place never used to be like this. The wait time is ridiculous, over 3 hours to see a general practitioner. Went there and was waiting for an extended period so went to the front desk to ask how many persons where in front of me. I stood at the desk for a good 2 mins before I was acknowledged by any of the 3 nurse aides at the front who were blabbering. Seemed as if my question bothered them. Anyhow, when I went to check my vitals with the nurse, she asked me to step on the scale. I could see debris from the previous patients feet. Told her I didn't feel comfortable putting my bare feet on it and if she had anything to put there. She said no in disgust but I saw that she had a full roll of paper towel so I asked her to tear piece. You could see that my question disturbed her and she tore it off in hast and stretch it to without even looking at me like I was begging a piece of meat. Her body language was saying "Si it yah, KMT". So I told her thanks for her help and left. PLEASE HIRE LESS GHETTO NURSES. The facility is becoming squalid.

I have never had an awful experience here ! Dr.Spencer & Dr.Russel is the best. They were highly professional & super welcoming. The nurses that I've interacted with were kindhearted and extended their best help to me as much as they could. The front desk persons were really nice to me & provided me with great service ! Highly Recommend To Anyone Searching For A Gynecologist! JUST WHAT JAMAICA NEEDS. Location: Baywest in Montego Bay ❤

Need customer care training.

Well i gotta say my visit. Experience was really good i got thru in no.time.didnt even spend 10 mins .... I got an std (not some thing im proud to say my 1st time thou) i was really nervous... But the doctor was awesome Dr lewis i think hes name was always hate doctor. But he change how i view them he was very friendly n funny (made me kept laughing while getting the info he needed to treat me ) 5 star

Im absolutely annoyed by the receptionist at the front ...the old lady with the bump...all she worries about is money ....she is no help and definately dont know how to talk to customers. Ive been with this clinic for years. Anytime i have to deal with her i get a bad experience. I think they should move her from the front and put her somewhere else. She even went has far as to hang up on me when i was only trying to figure out the cost of getting something done

I'm completely disappointed the way how I was treated today, I had an antenatal check up with Dr. Russel and I had quite a few alarming issues re my pregnancy and when I arrived a little before 2pm which that's the time I always go as I'm a working woman in the medical industry as well!! And I was told that they are not accepting anyone else for today bare in mind i told them it's an emergency and this is the date Dr Russel gave me to return, no attempt was made to see how else I could be assisted, I called the other branch they go by appointments and was fully booked!! So I should go home with my alarming issues no regards to the unborn/mother very upsetting!!! The next time I visit I will be asking for my medical report so I can go somewhere else because this was totally unacceptable!!! The receptionist needs a thorough training on her position you guys are just unbelievable!!!!!

I am not the type of person to complain or give bad reviews...but today I experienced the worst service ever from Baywest wellness clinic over at baywest plaza...i would never recommend anyone to go there...not even my worst enemy...the staff lack customer service skills and they are very unprofessional...the waiting time to see a doc is over an hour long....if I wanted that service I would have gone to the public clinic or hospital...i have been there from 1:30pm and up until 6pm I haven't seen a doc...persons who even register way after me are seeing the doctor before me...(we were all waiting to see the same doctor)...went and asked about it...what the nurse did was to put my file further to the back of the already long wait list...i was so upset with how the matter was handled and I walked out hoping to never return to that place....i would encourage all of you reading this not to go there either...not even one star they deserve.

The worst place to ever go. The one that is at downtown Montego Bay the front desk young is so illiterate. I went there the day for and I couldn’t even get to referral because " I came too late" and she told that I can come the next day before 4’oclock then when I came back I still couldn’t do it because the doctors stop working at 3’oclock. The staff there are so incompetent and don’t know what they are doing especially front desk she lucky seh mi neva give har 2 badword because a she same one give mi false information. Mi woulda neva guh back there again. When I did my first ultrasound it was $4000 that was about 2 weeks ago then when I came back she is telling me it’s $4500 and couldn’t give me a logical explanation. WORST PLACE EVER AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ESPECIALLY WITH FRONT DESKKKK !!!!!!!!! Won’t ever come back there again . THE STAFF NEEDS TRAINING!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent service. Dr. Spencer is the best! Not so sure about the front desk people tho. They need to learn better ways to communicate with people.(not all of them tho).

Fast and efficient. Polite and friendly staff and excellent communication skills. Dr. Neil articulates himself well with patients and ensures the very best care.

These people were accommodating and helpful. I needed a PCR covid test within 24 hours and I called them. They waited for me to drive from Kgn and made sure my results were available in time for my flight the following day. Thanks so much guys!

Dr. Neil took care of us and while there the staff and everyone was very pleasant. Highly recommended! Thanks for taking care of us Dr. Neil.

Who ever is at the front's desk at fairview need to go home and sit until shes ready to work ,all I did was to asked for her to repeat the number for baywest branch and if you hear how she shout in the phone it's so unprofessional and rude..

What a shabby establishment, it's like they are running a patty shop. Got a 6:30pm appointment and didn't see the dr until after 8, add to the fact these people are not polite and just drift like it's free service they offer. Ridiculous

Wasn’t good I went and the doctor didn’t do anything to help me yet I was still charged. When I said nth I mean absolutely nth but recommended me elsewhere

Wow the new office across from the old office is nice and clean. Big open space! Cutting edge technology coming soon. Enough seating for many patients. I have been numerous times fighting high blood pressure and acid reflux got me down real bad. The Dr's and nurses assisted me with my issues and I'm feeling good now. I received great care when I'm at Baywest. I would recommend this medical clinic to everyone.

Being a frequent traveler to Jamaica since 2002 I will not be returning. I refuse to pay a $200 PCR test to return home to the USA after 3 days. The jamaican tourist industry will suffer if this type of price gauging continues.

Nobody answers the phone

Everyone i met there gave excellent service. Friendly and fun to be around. I got through pretty fast. Doctor os easy to talk to. Try it , you won't regret it.

Dr. Neil was the absolute best. He gave sound advice and you could tell that he is very serious about his job. Not such a fan of Dr. Lewis, that is all I will say.

I give this review honestly so others can be aware before spending their hard earned cash & regretting it. Baywest Wellness at both Half Moon & Fairview have the WORST customer service! When I visited half moon to query on surgery pricing the front desk kept rolling her eyes with attitude and sighed every time she answered me as if she was frustrated to answer me. Fairview takes years before they assist you for you to get dumb diagnosis that is not the real problem, they just want the money. I don’t feel comfortable doing my surgery with them & neither should you. These locations will not be visited by me moving forward.

Always great service and the team of nurses and doctors and front desk agents are always kind but professional.
