Really nice island that's really close to Kingston. There's a quick 15 minutes boat ride from port royal to the island (Y-Knot charges 1500 per adult or 1000 per child round trip). The island itself is beautiful with its cool blue waters and (mostly) unlittered shore. There's also a small reef to the east of the island. Good for a quick snorkel.

After the ride to get here I didn't think it was gonna be worth it. I will tell you it was definitely worth flying on the air on the boat and the rough waters. Coming back is smooth but going is 👎. Depending on the wind. You will love it. Please bring towels and everything you must need. The island is beautiful alot places to swim and chill. You may be asking whats the easiest way to get here. Well im about to Help you. You need to get to port royal fishing port. You can take uber to get here but not back, you will have to taxi or public bus back. Ask for the bus stop in the small town.

Amazing experience! The water is so clear and the island itself offers an escape from the city. Not very crowded in the early mornings or on weekdays so you basically have the island to yourself.

So beautiful! Clean, clear waters and white sand. Has a really relaxing feel to it just being surrounded by water on a tiny island. There’s a not single place to buy food so bring your own and the boat ride to and from is also a nice relaxing experience.

Went here and had an amazing time, due to COVID-19 our family was the only people on the island so it was like our own little private island.

Always beautiful. Great chill spot...most quiet during the week, obviously. Should be cleaner..if people respected it more!! It has lost allot of beach on the west side due to storms and maybe sea level rise. It can get busy as curfews have weakened.

Been to a lot of places all over the world. This place is top 5. White crystal sand and friendly people. Nice gentle breeze. They cook fresh food on Sundays. Nothing like it.

Everyone love loves Lime Cay. I sincerely hope that everyone who has the opportunity to experience it will take care of it just the same. I'd recommend it to anyone who just wants a real getaway and to enjoy some of the natural beauty Jamaica has to enjoy. Whether with friends or by yourself, it's just awesome and you wont regret it This is a treasure that we all have the opportunity to enjoy, the least we can do is take care of it.

Lime Cay is a great place to hang out with friends and relax. We went on a sunny day and there are areas with large shrubs that protect you from the sun. Carry water, snacks, music and games if you want to spend the whole day.

Very beautiful place, cristal water white sand and a lot of green. It is very small and there is not a single shop there so take you own stuff.

Great little getaway from the Kingston. We took the boat from Y-Knot which was about $1,500 to Lime Cay and $2,000 to Maiden Cay. Regardless of party, it's always filled with people.

Just to let others know so you don't spend your time getting down to port royal to take a boat to Lime Cay, there are currently no boats taking passengers. I was just there at 11am on January 2nd, 2019 and drove into the lot where you see a spray painted sign that says "Lime Cay" and there was no one there and a lock on the gate. I asked some locals and they directed me to the hotel & spa next door to the lot where the boats also take off and they didn't have any boats leaving the the entire day either. A woman who lives in port royal told me there was an incident about a week ago in which a boat took on water and she thinks the coast guard has put the boat trips to Lime Cay on hold while they check the licenses and safety of the boats. Bummer

Such a beautiful beach. The view is relaxing and breath taking. The water is warm and it is a great spot to the spend a nice day on the beach. You would have to travel by boat to this little island. There are boats there to transport you and will cost $10- $15 per person round trip. I will recommend taking a cooler for drinks and some food as there is no where for you to purchase any meals or drinks on the land! I guarantee you will enjoy a day on this dazzling beach.

Lime Cay is a magical experience and really brings out the wondrous beauty of Jamaica. The boat ride from Port Royal is very short and relaxing. Lime Cay is like some place from a story book. It is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and the water is crystal clear. Visitors have the opportunity for a plunge into the Caribbean waters or start an old time Woodfire meal. It’s amazing place!

Love this island. Can get busy in the afternoon. Ensure you get the early ferry about 9-10 for a good spot on the island. Also leaving around 3-4 is quite busy and the locals don't like to wait in line to board the shuttle

The best beach this side of Kingston. It takes roughly about $1500 to get there by boat , The best time is in the week when there would hardly be anyone there.

Lime Cay is always a great beach day out. The water is lovely there, with beautiful white sand. The island is accessible by boat. There are limited permanent structures on the island, so ensure you bring a blanket or mat and find shade under a lovely tree. If you burn easily in the sun, sunblock is also a must carry. Pack a picnic, as there are limited vendors and food options on the island.

(Translated by Google) Great beautiful island. You can easily spend a day here. Don't forget to bring a snorkel, because you can spot beautiful fish here. We really had a nice day here. For a boat taxi to the island ask in the harbor for Captain Trix. (Original) Geweldig mooi eilandje.

Well, depending on your mode of transportation the journey can be splashy and scary or smooth and windy; You guessed it by putt putt boat or yacht lol. But once you get there you better know how to swim, note land is limited, so water is where you will be, it is perfect for your enjoyment. Loud music and lots of partying on your boat or the island/sandbar. Make sure to take your food and refreshments along. Special note, there is no bathroom facility. But a great adventure await you.
