resort is beautiful and the staff are friendly and very kind. However after seeing the true poverty of the country and being hustled for 'gifts' aka cash tips, I can't help but feel like the resort industry completely takes advantage of the wonderful people who work here and at other resorts on the island. Particularly with Sandals, I felt very uncomfortable even entering certain areas of the resort because so many employees are begging you to book additional spa services, private dinners, another Sandals vacation, etc. We stayed in a honeymoon suite which came with a concierge service. We didn't book the room because of the concierge service; we were simply looking for an upgraded room on the sea side of the resort. (It's worth noting the resort is split into two sides, with the butler rooms being on the jungle side.) We called the concierge one morning to make dinner reservations and were told none were available. Called the next morning, were put on hold, then told no reservations were available and that we needed to make them at least a day or more in advance. That would have been nice to know during our initial call for reservations. We ate twice at Soy because they don't require reservations and had a disappointing $300+ private dinner that we left early because it was so bad. Our flight was delayed a full 24 hours and we did not arrive at the resort until 930pm the next day. The resort refused to do anything to remedy our loss of a night and full day that we paid for in full when we booked the vacation in November 2021. Overall, it's fine. Be prepared to tip and be asked for tips in the form of gifts by some of the staff.

This was our first time at a sandals resort and it is also our honeymoon. But our showers and sink did not work and the only bathing we were able to do was when we spent time in the pool. We told the front desk two different days, also told the employee who went around asking for reviews and service. Each time they said they would send someone right up there but through our entire week stay nothing ever actually happened. Jamaica is beautiful and everyone is amazing and so happy. But this location feels like a cruise on land. The only place to really have “fun in the sun” is the very nice and large pool they have. The “beach” is a small roped off square in the water. The service at the restaurants and red lane spa or excursions were all great. All of the drivers are super nice and will teach you so much about the culture and anything you have questions. We were very disappointed in the service to the room and lack of help we actually received after mentioning it to multiple employees. But other than our room problems the resort is great, especially if you have never been to Jamaica before.

The trip was fantastic! We got married and honeymooned at the Ochi resort, so we splurged on the Butler sweet package. Dexter and Moria (our butlers) were both the kindest, most helpful people ever. They made the whole trip extra special. Food was amazing, drinks tasty, and the resort has activities for everyone. Totally recommend for a relaxing getaway or a special event!

Me & my boyfriend had such a great time at Sandals Ochi. The staff was so friendly. The resort was very clean and well kept. I loved being able to sit inside the lobby and still enjoy the fresh air coming in from outside. The food was great too. There were so many different options. I truly had an amazing time. I highly recommend to anyone interested. You will not be disappointed.

Sandals all-inclusive beach resorts never disappoints us. The accommodations are spacious and clean. The grounds are spectacular from pristine beaches with clear blue water to beautiful landscapes with flowers and plants. The restaurants offer so many tasty dishes. But staff is what makes it all so wonderful. They're the best.

Stayed 5 days in the cheapest room and had a great time. Staff is very friendly and the place is clean. So many pools to chose from and a complete other resort across the street. Dive team is very knowledgable and never in a hurry (that’s the Jamaican way). Everything is very close to your room. The restaurants are fine but I’ve had better food. The notable exception is the French restaurant which was 5 star for taste, presentation and service. 90 minute drive from the airport is something to consider. Well done Sandals. I won’t be back only because I prefer Beaches Negril.

My wife and I had the best time on our Honeymoon to Sandals Ochi. Perfect weather, our butlers were amazing, the food was great and relaxing by the pool and the ocean every day was just what the doctor ordered. We ate at nearly every restaurant and ALL of the food was fantastic. With my wife being pregnant I had to drink for two but the bartenders always mixed her delicious non alcoholic beverages that she loved. We've already booked our next Sandals trip and we will definitely be back in Jamaica eventually!

It was our first time visiting Sandals Ochi and it was beautiful. We were escorted and driven from the airport and taken straight to our room. Our bags were taken for us. We had a room with concierge and room service. We very much enjoyed the pools with the swim up restaurant area. We participated in karaoke, trivia, the broadway show and the circus show! We loved Le Gourmand. Jody Kay was such a thoughtful waitress. We also enjoyed having Princess serve us at Valentino’s with great service. My only complaint was that room service took over an hour to arrive each of the three times we ordered using it. By the time it came, I didn’t want it anymore. Overall, lovely stay.

Had an amazing time at Sandals. Came with 5 other people (3 couples total) one group had the butler suite and they helped a lot with making reservations and getting cabanas down by the beach. The rest of us stayed at the beach side Rivera rooms and although a little outdated we still had fun and enjoyed the rooms. The beds were clean and our room attendant was super nice and helpful. The other couple staying in a different room never got any room service or the cute animals that were left on all the rest of our rooms while staying. Luckily our attendant went to their room and gave them fresh towels. The bed was soft but with the nonexistent box spring it left us tossing a bit. Still comfortable but not much you can do with that. The couple staying at beach side butler said their bed was super soft. Food was great at kimonos and soy (definitely get reservations) the rest were your average all inclusive food, some things better than others so luckily we ordered multiple things and one made up for the other. All of the employees are amazingly nice and made the trip fun with jokes and great conversations. One person in our group ended up hurting themselves and ended up on crutches so luckily their butlers took awesome care with them and sent the nurse to check on the every other day. One thing I will note is be prepared to walk, luckily we all didn’t have an issue unless it started raining, which it most likely will so be prepared with the provided umbrella and forecast. Overall we enjoyed the Sandals resort, definitely one for the books.

This was our first Sandals trip and first time to Jamaica. We went for our wedding and had 25 guests who joined us. 2 couples had a problem with their rooms but the issue was resolved the next day and one moved to another villa and one got an upgrade. The wedding was flawless. We had such a great time and we were VERY impressed with how good everything went without us ever stepping foot there. We had a butler villa on the hillside. Julia and Patrick were our butlers and they made our stay so great we decided to book again the same dates next year and even got to request them. They were amazing so if you ever get a chance to go request them and you will not be disappointed. We saw negative reviews on a facebook group about the outdated rooms and I will say there are a few layouts that could be updated but please remember this is an older Sandals resort and the prices are cheaper then the others. This doesn't take away from the beauty of this site. The landscape is incredible. Lots of plants, flowers and trees around. The beach area is a little small but plenty of pool areas.

Service was hit and miss. We did come over a holiday, so that may have been part of it. Overall, service was friendly. Our room was nice, we got an ocean front room, but the bed was definitely sagging in the middle. Shockingly, it didn't hurt my back. Resort is beautifully and keeps going and going. Many pools. Hot tubs aren't really hot, but more of a giant whirlpool tub. Snorkeling on the resort was amazing. So many fish, the excursion out was less exciting, but still worth it. Had a great time on coffee tour, downhill biking on blue mountain etc. Great trip overall. I'd skip the hibachi restaurant, Caribbean was excellent as was the sushi.

Resort was absolutely gorgeous and the staff couldn't have been nicer to work with. Everyone I interacted with was as nice as could be, wonderfully helpful, and went out of their way to make our experience magical! The food was terrific. The rooms are a little dated but were clean and in good repair and the view was incredible. We enjoyed several excursions and had a wonderful time.

Overall the resort was in good condition. We had to make several requests to have a leaky toilet repaired and ultimately had to change rooms, but that was the biggest complaint - which is not a huge deal. My first impression of the staff is they weren't as friendly as the other Caribbean islands we visited. However, a few staff were friendly and warm enough to more than makeup for the not-so-friendly staff. Staff like Sean, the manager at the Southern Table restaurant, and Patrice from the Vibe Team made us feel like family. Sean was pleasant, accommodating, friendly, attentive, humorous, and engaging; he made it a point to ensure we were taken care of and had a good time. He introduced us to his staff and treated us like family when we came to eat at his restaurant, which served good food every time. Patrice was friendly and fun! She engaged the crowd and made sure everyone had a good time whenever she came around. The resort offers lots of fun things and good food to eat. If you want to relax, you can do that too. I recommend my friends and family visit Sandals Ochi Beach Resort if they are looking for Adult only Inclusive Fun!

Definitely more lit than sandals Ocho Rios royal plantation next door. It has more of a party vibe than a romantic vibe which is fitting for the venue. The have great performances with a fun unique vibe. They have more versatile and unique restaurants. If you stay at royal plantation you get the best of both!

We had a horrible experience at Sandals Ochi during our stay a few weeks ago. Our room was split into 2 sections, the air conditioner didn’t work in the living room portion. Our butler said he would have someone come look at it but no one ever came. Our butler phone (provided by the resort) was close to dead when it was given to us- our butler said he would bring a charger and never did. We requested extra pillows and never got them. We didn’t have hot water for over 24 hours. The main pool was so cloudy and dirty you could barely see the bottom. Servers in the bar acted like you were an inconvenience unless you were leaving a cash tip with each visit. Air conditioning was broken in the restaurant one night for dinner- it was so hot we left dinner early. Most of the dinner food was mediocre, although the lunch and room service were good. We had to leave early due to a medical emergency- we informed our butler who said he would notify the front desk of our change. 6 hours later the front desk still had no idea about our changed departure. We stayed at this resort before and had a wonderful experience. We were very sadly disappointed with this stay- so much so that we did not book another vacation before leaving (which we have always done).

Wonderful resort in an even more wonderful location. Everything about the grounds and property were beautiful. It was very easy to get from place to place within the sandals property, and there were a lot of things to do for fun, leisure, entertainment, food/drink. Marsha and Jason (our butlers) were professional, warm, and accommodating - and they made us feel right at home. The performers working there (especially singers/dancers) were talented and amazing. The beaches and pools were stunning and relaxing. The bars and bartenders (especially at the rabbit hole and ocean beach bar) were awesome. This was our first all inclusive experience, and it's going to be VERY hard to top it! We can't wait to come back to Ocho Rios!!!

The weather was amazing, lots to do, and I felt I was eating at a 5 star restaurant every night, the food selection was incredible. We got in 3 rounds of golf while there and our caddy was great and it was just a short bus drive to the golf course. The staff were fabulous; you had questions they had all the answers and were there at your beckon call; and with these trying times of "COVID" I felt that they took every precautionary measure possible to make you feel at ease. Great trip; will definitely go back! Yeh man!!

Greetings All, I am currently staying on the property for a family vacation with older siblings. The online pictures does not represent how beautiful both properties truly are. Words cannot express the beauty.. There are so many restaurants and bars staffed with the great and outstanding employees. They offered games and played games me when my family didn’t want to. They have tennis and basketball courts. The shows are outstanding like Vegas, the speak easy club takes you back with drinks and live music from that era. The food; I could write all day about how good it is. The people who work at the resort are beautiful, talented, and have outstanding service attending to your every need. I wanted to offer tips because the service is always outstanding but everyone told me ‘no.’ I love it here and plan to return with other family members. Sincerely, Anita McLean Virginia

Let me start off by saying that the staff is great! I like the location also. The amenities are not bad. What made this place suck is the lack of real Jamaican dishes. How do you have a resort in Jamaica 🇯🇲 that barely serve Jamaican dishes and the few that you serve mostly were not that good. From the reaction I’ve gotten, I’m not the only one that. I got an upgraded room and it was still the smallest room I’ve even been in at any resort The views were great

Everything was amazing, pools are great, entertainment was great, ends at 10 or 11pm at the latest for shows. Beach is small only issue. Everything else was perfect.

The highlight of my stay at this resort was most definitely our butler Natalee and Sashemia. They went above and beyond what was required in the job, every single day. On some occasions stayed later after their shift to accommodate to our needs. Word can not describe their exceptional service! After speaking with other guests and their butler experience, It just confirmed how lucky we were to have them. I will always request them as our butlers for any future visits. I hope they are rewarded well for this. The resort itself is beautiful though the rooms are very dated and doesn’t have great lighting. Our housekeeper Tiffanie was also wonderful. There were many restaurants however not enough authentic Jamaican cuisine. I had to spend extra money locally outside the resort to experience this. Same with the entertainment/ music etc, I experienced true Jamaican culture off the resort. The resort entertainment and food catered to a Caucasian audience. Overall great resort!

The resort is nice, but standards have fallen. The food wasn't up to par and you'll wait 40 minutes for room service at a minimum. Our Butler was completely inattentive and didn't do anything. Dinner service will take at least 3 hours for a 3 course meal.

Truly a wonderful place to stay at. We came here for 7 nights in June & would come back again in a heartbeat! The restaurants serve delicious, gourmet food. The grounds are beautifully well maintained. Truly a 5-star all-inclusive resort!

Stayed for 3 nights. Almost 2 hour drive to club but we wanted to do that to see more of Jamaica. You do stop about halfway through in Discovery Bay at the Jerk Shack which was great for the restrooms but the food smelled amazing too. Resort is beautiful, everyone was super friendly, and don’t be afraid to ask anyone anything because they all know the answers! Food everywhere was amazing. We did wish we had brought our snorkels because they do not have ones you can use at the resort. They will take you snorkeling on their boat out the in ocean which was nice. Check out the location when selecting your room. There is a road that separates the resort. There is an upper part (farther from beach, big pool is here) and a lower part (closer to beach), but the bus runs every 10 minutes for guests and takes you to 3 stops, the beach club, the main lobby at the upper part, and the main lobby at the lower part. It was great for getting around! Club Mobay saved us hours in lines on the way home at the airport. We definitely recommend it!

This was the first time we stayed at a Sandals resort. Moving forward, this will be the only way we vacation. This resort was amazing! Staff was remarkable! Quick shout out to Patrice. She was extremely helpful and made sure our experience was outstanding! Food was delicious, grounds we pristine, staff was amazing. Hands down the best vacation we have ever been on! Thanks again to all of the remarkable staff!!!

Had a fantastic two weeks at the resort. All the resort staff are wonderful and friendly. Sports equipment is well maintained. Scuba dive sites are superb. Rooms clean and comfortable, although may be in need of a lick of paint in some places. Bar staff excellent, the only criticism is there is each bar had its own special menu and there was no "base" menu that could be easily relied on across all the bars. Restaurants were excellent. We unfortunately had two bad experiences in 12 nights. One was a delay to providing food and drink but once aware upper management were on site working to sort it. We had a food poisoning case at one but the resort staff were excellent and we had regular check ups from the duty nurse and manager. Food range and quality however could not be faulted! Overall a wonderful holiday!

I left for this vacation hoping it was going to be, in the words of Michael Scott, “ Hot, Hot, Hot!” and instead left feeling like Michael watching Darrell run over his steelpan drum with a forklift, angry and regretful. Two stars were given only because the island and beach were fantastic. The resort room, food, and service were abysmal to say the least. We did encounter a few workers who were great at their job and seemed to have fun doing it. However, the majority were put off lacked any type of joy. This was in stark contrast to the other Sandal’s locations we have stayed at. Two of our dinners consisted of only have received appetizers by the 1 hour mark, by an hour and a half in we finally received our entrees. The food quality was severely lacking. The other Sandal’s we have dined at had delicious and fresh dining options. All the food here tasted like it came straight from a package or can and had little to no thought out into it. Perhaps the most frustrating was getting locked out of our own room 4 times. We did not keep our key cards in a wallet or next to a cellphone. This was blown off by staff who insisted we must be swiping the card wrong. Even after the 4th time being locked out they refused to do anything about it. The rooms themselves had all received the “landlord special” with globs of wet paint covering up the many holes, chips, and defects. The paint being wet was found out the hard way after touching it, no sign saying wet paint was present. The bathroom tile was grimy and cracked in many places, not even the gobs of silicone caulk could conceal it. This is not a resort I would ever visit again or recommend anyone ever visits. There are many other Sandal’s resorts to experience before ever visiting Sandal’s Ochi.

My wife and I celebrated our 13 year anniversary here at Sandals Ochi and was completely amazed at the beauty of the property, amazing beaches, crystal blue water and the people working were all 5 star!! The service was top notch, the food was very good, the quality and amount was perfect! I have to also mention the room. The furnishings was all up to date and very nice and comfortable. The bar is stocked daily and if you need some more red stripe, just call concierge and they will have more brought up!! I could go on and on about our entire experience but if you are wanting a relaxing, adventurous and romantic get away, this is the place!! Thanks Sandals staff for making our experience amazing!!!

A tropical paradise with an an amazing resort nestled inside it. Whether you want an activity filled Jamaican adventure or a relaxing, do as little as possible vacation, Sandal's Ochi has got you covered. Friendly staff, great accommodations, fantastic food and drinks. Definitely worth booking a stay. Already booked out trip for next year.

Boy idk where to start. This was a perfect vacation. From the second we stepped foot onto the resort (even before) we were treated amazing. The rooms are a little dated in the halls but the rooms were nice and air conditioned. SO much entertainment, Martin kept us very entertained throughout our whole trip and we loved seeing him at the amphitheater. Food was amazing, service was perfect, and we enjoyed our stay so much we booked an extra night. I really have nothing bad to say about our stay. Overall I’d recommend staying in the riviera side because you’re closer to the beach etc. and we spent little time on the hill side. We really didn’t mind that there were two sides because it kept stuff less crowded and allowed us to be a little more active. We never had a problem finding beach chairs, and bar service only took 5 minutes at the most— at a restaurant it does take longer. Could not recommend this resort enough!

Our trip was amazing! The food was delicious and the service at the restaurants was excellent. Our waitress Sabrina at Valentino's was the best! I loved how everyone said hello and gave a big smile. It made the atmosphere so pleasant and fun to be a part of. Our room was well taken care of and very clean!! We will definitely keep Sandals Ochi on our list of places to visit again!!

Spent 5 nights for our first all inclusive resort. The experience was truly magical. The people (staff and other patrons) were all so kind, nice and fun to be around. Loved that for whatever kind of vacation you wanted to experience you could find it on the resort and/or off. The rooms could be better maintained. We had an older and updated room and both could use some work, but since we hardly spent time in our rooms, it didn't bother us much. The food was pretty good. Not 5 stars but good for the options and variety. Really enjoyed having so many options. Would totally come back.

Sandals Ochi Rios hotel and overall was a decent place with a good selection of restaurants and excellent staff. The property is divided into two sections, and I particularly enjoyed the hillside part, which had the best pool. One of the highlights of my stay was the variety of dining options available. The hotel boasts a range of restaurants, each offering a different cuisine. From Italian to Asian, there was something to suit every palate. The food was generally of good quality, and I appreciated the effort put into creating diverse menus. The staff at Sandals Ochi Rios were incredibly accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure that guests had a pleasant stay. Whether it was the receptionists, waitstaff, or housekeeping, everyone was always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm and welcoming attitude truly enhanced the overall experience. The hillside section of the property was my favourite, mainly because of the pool. It offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and was a perfect spot to chill and have some fun and unwind.

We went here for our honeymoon and were blown away. The staff would regularly go the extra mile for us, and they were incredibly nice. The resort was beautiful and we loved the swim up bars. All-inclusive is the only way to vacation!

Had a great trip at Ochi. Enjoyed my stay very much. Huge resort and lots of different things to check out. Beaches are small but very calm warm water. Food and drinks were great. The breakfast buffets were my favorite. The room was nice but did think the bed was too high. Water in the shower was warm some days and hot others. The grounds were impeccable, the staff cleaned and swept all the time. Staff was excellent and very friendly YA MON

I stayed here for three days. Transportation was provided to and from airport which was very convenient. The front desk staffs were extremely welcoming and helpful. They made a great first impression. The grounds are very beautiful and well-maintained. If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind, there are numerous gardens and outdoor spaces to do so. The beach is extremely small. I was rather disappointed by this. The food at the Jamaican restaurant was delicious. The food at the rest of the restaurants was OK. The room that we stayed inwas dated and needs updating. The all white party and steel pan event were a great time. The rest of the activities could be more entertaining. Overall a good experience. Would recommend.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I stayed in the Butler village on the hill in a private villa. My butlers Ray and Devin were exquisite! My massuse at the Red Lane spa was amazing! Great drinks, great service, wonderful people, you want for nothing, great weather, 16 restaurants and beautiful waters! Definitely will be going back! I just returned yesterday, 10/13/21 and miss it!

My husband and I loved this resort for our honeymoon! We had scheduled plenty of activities/excursions, but even without these we would have kept busy just with what the resort has to offer in daily activities. There are so many restaurants we ate at a different place every night. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We cannot wait to go back! It is about a two hour ride from the airport, but well worth it.

It was very clean the staff is so so friendly! It’s not very handicap friendly which was disappointing for my parents who were there for our daughters wedding. Beach and pools were great! Food was very good. Hours for the restaurants were odd. Drinks were free drinks but good. We really enjoyed our visit! If you want to do a wedding here it’s highly recommended in the chapel!

We are there in Sandals for 4 nights. The staff are very warm and I haven’t seen such positive and helpful people any where since I travel a lot. Kudos to the Management. Me and my wife went here for our honeymoon and it was nothing short of spectacular! Shaw and Scott were our butlers and they made the stay and experience even that much better. We are truly grateful for them and highly recommend them for anyone who may be going in the future. We can’t wait to come back and will certainly be requesting them. The drinks and the food were great my wife has a shellfish allergy and they were so attentive and accommodating towards that. This truly was our paradise for 7 days and a honeymoon we will never forget.

Had a blast the great part of the hotel is that it's kiss free! There is absolutely no smoking in the hotel or balconies, they have little pit stops outside around the hotel to smoke. Staff was very nice food was great to my surprise a lot off different restaurants. The bars have great drinks, the young lady who cleaned my room really did an excellent job! The best yet she didn't fake clean she really changed sheets pillow cases and everytime I was left and awesome note just the best.

Loved the resort as there was so much to do and lots of dining choices. If you didn't want to do anything, that's ok too. The speakeasy was very cool and the entertainment superb! Staff was super friendly and accommodating to guests. The grounds were beautiful. The resort is in two sections. . .beach side (northern side) of the resort suited us best but the southern side had an awesome swimming pool. Guests could use any of the facilities on the 100 acre resort. The all-inclusive part of this vacation made our vacation stress free as you didn't have to worry about money while there or driving. . .just having a good time each and every day. The trip to Sandals Ochi was about 1 1/2 ride from the airport, but enjoyed that as well as you got a glimpse of life in Jamaica. We did have a few issues at the start of our week but management took care of them and even sent us a bottle of champagne to the room with some balloons. This was our first Sandals resort but won't be our last! Would highly recommend this vacation / resort!

This was our first experience staying at Sandals and we absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Jamaica is stunningly beautiful and so are the locals, Such a happy island. Sandals Ochi is the best of everything, either for light life or a quiet romantic evening, its all there. Ochi restaurants offered menus that catered to every pallet vegan to carnivore, so many options. Breathtaking views from Beach with crystal clear water or tropical rainforest it something for every occasion. We had such a great time we booked a second trip next year.

Amazing. We already booked for next year. The staff was always so nice. The grounds were beautiful. And the view our first night was amazing at dinner

Meh. We have stayed at sandals Barbados before which is why we booked this place and Barbados was much better. We’ve only been here one night so far and our shower is broken and there are pieces missing/laying on the ground for it - called an hour ago to see if someone could help us put the shower together and received no response/help and given no timeline for a fix.

What an experience. Truly fabulous people from the bus from the airport to the restaurants to the pools. The friendliest people in all of hospitality with a great standard of care for all guests. Great location naturally too. And they have pickleball courts to stay active between the great meals! Don’t miss out on the speakeasy…if you get invited that is.

Overall a great resort with great staff. Two side of the resort mountain and ocean side. We stayed on the mountain side and didn't take the shuttle. We walked up and down the hill which is only about a half mile to the other side. Food was good however the sushi place was by far the best overall. Pizza places near the pools were great.

PARADISE Our family trip with our adult children and spouses could not have been better. The staff was fun, friendly and very helpful. Our scuba experience with Joshua Black was excellent! Danny the photographer did an out standing job!

So I was really hyped about this trip. I was looking forward to everything being included (it's not FYI). It's just like any other resort where they are trying to get money from you left and right. The beach was so rocky. The pool water was colder than the beach water. Their minimal fee for the scuba discovery course was $200usd per person. I'm sorry but in what world is that a minimal fee... the food was ok, again just like any other resort. The service was slow. There weren't enough pool chairs at the resort, so you had to wake up at 6am to get a chair, otherwise you missed out. I did enjoy the snorkeling. Also, it was a clean resort.

Excellent stay. This is our second time staying at this resort and it was very relaxing. We were upgraded to the Riviera building as they do have some rooms in need of a little tlc. All in all, I would definitely book to stay ghere again.

The trip to Sandals at Ochi Rios was our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience. The resort grounds are beautiful but any place can be made beautiful, what makes this place a truly amazing experience was the people. Every single Sandals employee we experienced was very helpful, pleasant and made you feel like they truly enjoyed making the trip exceptional.

Overall our trip was fun. Some of the restaurants were better than others. We really enjoyed the speakeasy. The AC in our room went out but they fixed it quickly. The water in our room was either cold or luke warm. They did clean our room and refill our bar daily. Most of the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were given a list of the entertainment schedule so we missed several events and were told they few people came to them anyway. We enjoyed the sunset catamaran cruise, couples massage, and candlelight dinner. We will probably do another sandals trip in the future but at a newer resort.

We spent a week at this resort for our friend's birthday in December. The food was exceptional, and I really enjoyed the activities and the spa. I was, however very disappointed in the level of service by the hotel staff. We only got housekeeping service 2 out of the 6 days we were there, even after repeatedly asking. On the third day I called to have the mini fridge restocked (something they tell you to do when you check-in) and the lady on the phone hung up on me. This is a no-tipping resort and I think that explains why no one wants to work very hard. The most disappointing part of the trip was trying to scuba. We signed up 5 days early, and they told me I needed a doctor's note. I spent a LOT of time and international calls to obtain the signed form from my doctor and emailed it to the address they gave me. When we showed up for our dive, they said we had been removed from the list because I did not have the paperwork. I finally convinced them to check the email and was told that it was there but no one checked it. They also removed my husband from the dive because they "assumed" he would not want to go without me. No apology, no compassion at all from the staff. I loved Jamaica, but I don't think I would go back to a Sandals.

We are at Sandals Ochi right now. This is our first Sandals experience and it is mixed. The food here is amazing. Very high quality. This includes alot of seafood and beef options. The entertainment and workers are also very nice! The service though has not been good. Our room was not cleaned for 3 separate days. We are going to call before dinner to get towels to shower. The refrigerator was restocked once and we have asked for water numerous times and not once have they restocked. Our AC UNIT is also leaking over the floor which we have told the housekeeping manager and the front desk. The floor is soaked! I'm not one to complain, but when you spend 4k for a resort on vacation, and the frills are about the luxury and comfort you will have, this has not been that experience. This is not a 5 stars experience. We are staying on the seaside part of the resort.

We loved Sandals! Anywhere on the resort was a great place to be. From the pool, to the ocean, to the amazing food and drinks. The room we had included butler service, something I never thought I would ever have. It was great, our butlers Tevin and Stanford were just a simple call away from giving us a ride to bringing us food, or even answering a simple question. Our room was nothing exciting, but it didn't need to be, we didn't spend too much time there. The only CON we had was the people that would harass you to schedule a spa appointment or schedule our next visit to Sandals. Every time we would walk through the lobby of the hotel, someone would try to flag us down. Multiple times we had to give the "cold shoulder" and just keep walking.

The resort is gorgeous, the food fantastic, drinks are delicious and the staff is so helpful and friendly! Imagine walking up every mourning to 70+ degree weather and looking out over lush greenery and flowers to the ocean, drinking delicious Blue Mountain coffee and being able to just relax or participate in one of the many activities planned daily. Sandals Ochi is a slice of paradise with some of the friendliest people you will evwr meet!

Beautiful resort, very clean. They take covid very seriously. I was very impressed to see every employee had a mask on and never heard anyone complain about it. The friendliest employees too. I loved our butler service, they really took care of everything for us. Can't wait to go back!

The Butlers made the trip!!! Food was good. Drinks were very limited but were ok. The rooms you see and the food you see in the pics are not what you get! We had a room that was so far from everything that if you didn't have a ride then it wouldn't be worth the walk. I had roaches in my room on 3 different occasions. I reported it and no one even acknowledged it and even went to customer service after I got back and not a response. Our AC didn't work first 2 days we were there. But the people who work there are fantastic and its them who make it what it is. It is not worth the price you pay. Long trip to airport and back. I am not hard to please and understand things, but I won't be back. I may not have a better experience somewhere else, but this place will not get my money again.

Stayed April 27- May 2 - Upon arriving at the resort I was told that my bags would be dropped off at my room and that I could explore the resort while I waited. When I got back to my room both of my suitcase were wide open and someone went through all of my clothes, jewelry and makeup. Imagine how scary it felt as a young women to see that I had been robbed. I didn’t feel safe! My purpose for the trip was to be the makeup artist for a wedding and after inspecting my bags, several of my makeup items were missing and some of my clothes. We immediately called security and they reassured me that this had never happened before and that they would investigate. ON THE LAST DAY OF MY TRIP, I was finally able to speak with a manager and gave her an estimate for the missing items. She voluntarily stated that the resort would reimburse me and that I could expect a refund in that amount within two weeks. It’s been over a month and I haven’t heard back from the resort, nor have I received the payment. Obviously I would not recommend staying at this resort. I was looking forward to having a great trip but this experience was horrible and I will never visit any Sandals location ever again.
