Had a good afternoon in one of the cabanas. The server was very pleasant, and overall, we had a good time. The only improvement would be the Ladies' room as it is a bit small and very hot. My friend from overseas had a great time!

A secluded hidden gem. Quite a lot of questions were asked at the gate before they let us inside. Biggest question was whether you are coming for the beach or restaurant cause I guess there’s a beach entrance fee. But once inside, the view was magnificent. Service was friendly. Food took quite some time but then I think that’s typical for Jamaica. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something quiet and private.

We knew we had to pay to get access to the beach, so that was fine. We got the gate and the woman informed us lounge chairs {1500/ person} or cabanas {5500} if we pay for chairs but then want to upgrade, we’d have to pay the full price of the cabana not the difference (she also made sure to say it’s minimal shade, which we didn’t take literally, but realised our mistake very quickly). So we paid for the cabana. It’s a couple pieces of bamboo that make up the cover… & the condition of the seats were atrocious, it’s def not worth it… see pics The food at the restaurant was mostly deep fried, which wasn’t appealing to us. We still had lunch but didn’t really enjoy it. Our waitress was pleasant enough and the beach front was nice. Update - returned to give them another try. The cabanas have been completely revamped, though it’s $7000 JAM now, we got lounge chairs and moved them to a shaded area which worked just as well.

Hidden gem! We spent about 6 hours at the beach with the kids swimming, find fish on the reef and playing in the sand. The water was the perfect depth and temperature and the reefs blocked all the big waves. You can walk along the beach to get here from the Riu and Sandals resort and go to the restaurant.

Very simple and nice beach club. You can get a beach chair or cabana. It was a group, so we reserved a cabana. Staff was courteous and helpful with the menu if needed. There's a bathroom with shower and changing rooms onsite. You can take your kids there as well. Menu has a bit of everything for everyone. I got steamed fish and bammy, ackee and Saltfish spring rolls, and 2 different cocktails, which cost a total of around $50usd. It's not hard to find either though secluded, and I love that about it. It has a gift shop onsite as well.

The Beach was amazing!!! Breathtaking views and beautiful water!! $15 USD entry fee per person, I’m not sure why they charge, there are no amenities or water sports offered. There is a small souvenir shop on site. You just get to relax and take in the views, no music was playing, it would have been nice to have music. The staff was very friendly, good food and drinks but a bit pricey, and a chill atmosphere. Thank you to our waitress Shantel!!! All in all Bamboo Blu Beach was worth the visit, definitely check it!

I've been coming here for the past 5 years. This year (2021) they introduced a mandatory 1500JD fee for entrance (chair fee). It's a bit too steep in my opinion. Beach and crowd is decent, but it stopped being a local hidden gem when the beach chair tax was introduced. Will I be back? Definitely, albeit a bit sadder that a place this beautiful is commercialized.

Great place to go. Not too busy and not too many folks around. Nice beach and good facilities certainly will be visiting again.

Service was extremely friendly and the views of the ocean Beautiful. We purchased a day bed at $50 and it was comfortable offering partial shade and a nice place to lay down. The drinks were good and the tacos were delicious!!

Great place to relax. It’s a private beach almost in Ocho Ríos. With a small fee you can enter and entrance fee covers the chairs. There is a restaurant and a gift shop as well. The water is shallow so is kids friendly. Every time I go the water is cristal blue and body temperature

The food here is always amazing and the beach is clean and nice. The customer service is good with friendly staff. The menu is not bad as it offers a wide variety to choose from for different pallet types.

Wow what a find! We stayed at RIU and just next door was this phenomenal restaurant. Every dish was exceptional 👌 most are fusion between traditional Jamaican and world cuisine. Really nice experience!

We stayed at the RIU and walked to this place. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The meal was to die for! It beat anything that we had on the Island the whole 6 days. The drinks were called Jamaican Delight, and they were, very tasty. I want to buy this place, and move everything to Tampa Florida. It does not belong in Jamaica! If it was in Tampa, this place would be busting at the seams with business. I hope the Jamaican Government gets economy going pretty good again, so these awesome people stay in business. Must go here, call ahead, make sure the Curfew BS does not have the restaurant closed.

The entry-fee of $1,500JMD per person includes, secure parking, a well kept beach, lounge seats, indoor/outdoor dining and decent bathroom facilities

The beach was Amazing! The seabed the current. Breathtaking. It was a nice vibe. They play music all day. If you're celebrating a birthday, they will do a nice gesture for you. The cabana was extremely dirty!! Once you pay for a cabana the entry fee is waived for 4 persons. The food was cold, bland and not worth the usd they are quoting it in.

Exceptional food. Excellent drinks and friendly staff. Could use better signage at the main road to make it easier to find though. Definitely recommend this spot.

We went about an hour before closing so I think the restaurants were already closed off. Gorgeous property with beach volleyball and gazebos. We stayed at Northstar villa nearby and got a free access pass so I'm not sure if there's an entry fee but the beach was beautiful and there are also lots of fishes for those who enjoy snorkeling!

I've been here more than once and I can't say I've ever been disappointed with the service. The customer service is really great! The place is beautiful and very clean, and on top of that very peaceful. The meals weren't bad, but also not the greatest but I'd keep coming back because the service and drinks are worth it. Plus all I really need is the amazing beach with clear waters.

Paid 1500 for entry fee. Bathroom was very clean and modern. Only 2 showers and 2 cubicles, think they need more. Beach is very clean and not crowded. Such a great experience. You can carry food so u have to buy, food pricey and wasnt worth it to me. Overall u should go, would recommend.

Beach is nice chairs are quite old and uncomfortable. Food is outrageously expensive but access to the beach is $15 including your chair

The food was excellent, and our server Mortina was an added bonus. The view is worth mentioning, too.

Overall great relaxing experience 👍 The property was very clean with ample changing room/restrooms. The restaurant had a wide variety of meals including oxtails and curry goat which was pretty good, a bit pricey though. I would definitely recommend for a relaxing day at the beach with the family or a group of friends👌

It's a beautiful spot. The food is OK, but the service is great. The water is very shallow (less than two feet deep in most parts), which is great if you're taking kids but not if you actually want to swim. Not sure if its worth it. Admission is pricey, you have to rent a chair for each person (JMD 1500) or rent a cabana (JMD 5000) whether you want one or not.

Go ahead and treat yourself to some great Jamaican food. Bamboo Blu was all that and then some. My wife and I had the pleasure of having lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We started off the meal with Nachos and Jerk Calamari. The appetizers were so full of flavor. The Calamari had 3 different sauces to add to the fantastic flavors already being served on the plate. The plantain nachos are in a league of their own. So many flavors in your mouth at one time. We had the Lobster and another shrimp entree to top off a great lunch. There were so many unique flavors in our dishes, we were in food heaven. We highly recommend Bamboo Blu for a great meal. Last but not least, let me tell you how amazing our service was. The servers were on point from the time we sat down till the time we left. Super job by all the staff at Bamboo Blu!
