Konoko located in the hills of St. Ann. About 5 minutes from the town of Ocho Rios. This attraction includes a waterfall, botanical garden, museum, mini zoo, aviary and Koi pond. Also, Yssasi Lookout Point where you can overlook the resort area of Ocho Rios. There’s a restaurant on the property so no outside food is allowed. Cost is $1500 or 20USD for adults and $1000 or 10 USD for children. The staff and security is very hospitable and all covid protocols are followed. 👍🏾 if this was helpful

It’s a lovely Spot … The area is located a bit off the main close to Ochi High School. If you drive it’s convenient and also if you are taking public transport because taxis are right there willing to drop you up that side. Entry fee is $2000 JMD over 12 years and $1000 JMD if 11 years and younger; someone deals with this at the entrance. The atmosphere is comfortable and it immediately feels like clean nature. There are a few animals (it’s a mini zoo) but it’s beautiful. Someone is there to assist if you want to touch the animals and the customer service is amazing. Their is a restaurant in between the zoo and the fall and they provide lockers at a cost ($750 + $750 deposit) . The fall is beautiful and easy to climb (coming from a non water lover) and has different exit points if you choose not to finish at multiple point. There is a great look out point as well at the top with dining benches. Love the spot and would visit again.

Was an amazing place to go for 1 or 2 hours.. full of nature. I really enjoy it! The guide was super nice and teaches me a lot! Very knowledgeable and to have the snake, iguana and guacamayo in my hands was the best!

There's a museum and a zoo as well to see some past Jamaican artefacts and beautiful animals. To climb the falls isn't difficult and can be done once you have the average fitness. There's also a point where you can see the entire Ocho Rios bay. Go with friends as there isn't much more entertainment there, but the space is wide enough to stay to have a picnic and to relax for a bit. The hill to get to Konoko Falls is quite steep though, so make sure your car is able 😂

Beautiful place for photography as it has gorgeous views, botanical garden, aviary and various animals to interact with. The food was quite good and most of the staff was quite friendly. It is a good place to go with groups. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the various flora and fauna in the botanical garden. However, the place lacked the necessary bathroom facilities and had no changing rooms, so the bathroom was the only area available for changing your clothing. Certain areas were in need of repair, such as some railings on the steps that led to the bottom of the falls that were barely attached and shaking, as well as one on the walkway to the lookout area was broken. Some areas on the steps were somewhat steep, which you had to maneuver carefully, which made climbing down and up the stairs a task for both the young, old and not so in shape. There were mainly two swim spots to choose from on the falls; one at the top that was usually crowded and the other way at the bottom of the falls below the 200+steps. Though there were some little spots here and there, one would have to climb either up or down the falls to get to it. There was a pool area at the top near the garden area, but you would have to pay an extra $500JMD to rent a life jacket to swim in it, as it did include an 8ft deep area. So if you didn't walk with extra cash, you couldn't enjoy that area. The card machine at the food area was not working the day I visited, so the use of my card was out of the question and it also closed off at 4pm and so you were not allowed to purchase anything after that, which was strange to me being that people were still at the park in abundance and would probably still need some form of refreshment. Food service took a while for my group as some people had to wait over an hour to get their meal. Overall if you love taking beautiful pictures, cooling off in the rushing waters of the waterfalls and sightseeing, this would be an ideal place to visit friends and family.

( FOR MORE INFORMATION VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL "JAMAICA WALK BY") Very beautiful and well kept grounds, staff was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately my experience wasn't that great as I didn't get a tour guide and also certain activities were restricted due to covid (I visited December 2021). The falls were so beautiful however the steps to access the falls 😢 😪 it was terrible going down and even worse coming back up. I did a vlog of the property from the entrance all the way down to the falls, you can check it out

A great place for a family to visit while in the area. Our 3 year old was able to climb the falls as well as 70+ year old mother. The park and grounds are nice as well to see local flora and fauna as well as some animals.

Great for family recreational activities, a little of everything; mini garden, mini zoo, mini museum with things used in the past and of course the lovely falls. Very beautiful lawns for picnic... Superb scenery for picture taking...Be prepared to exercise; lots of steps to go down to get to the falls...

Terrific place with lots of beautiful flora and fauna to see. The guides are very knowledgeable and helpful to our group. Very accessible for everyone. Several in our group were in wheelchairs and scooters and they were able to see everything. Great view at the top of the port below.

Great attraction in Ocho Rios... Climbing the falls was on a bucket list I didn't even know I had. 🤪 Jerome was an AMAZING guide along the Falls, he gave clear instructions and made us all feel very safe. Our tour guide (I don't want to spell his name wrong- older gentleman) through the garden and zoo was so kind and knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would recommend this to anyone. Thank you for a positive experience 🙏🏾

Had an absolutely amazing time here! One of my favorite spots to chill and climb the falls. Please ensure you wear shoes with grip with climbing the falls. You need to check out here if you haven’t. Friendly staff and it’s only $1,500 for adults.

We went here on an excursion from our Caribbean cruise. The falls were really beautiful. The guides take you up the falls walking through the water. It was actually a lot of fun. It could possibly be dangerous without water shoes. They conveniently sell them there for 10 bucks lol in case you forget to bring your own. Be prepared to get soaking wet, there is no way not to unless you chose to just walk along the path and not do the walk through in the water. That is an option if you don’t want to get wet. We went in January and it was surprisingly hot out. When you leave be careful because the local vendors will harass you to buy souvenirs from them. They go way overboard with it too. Overall it was a fun day.

We visited the lush garden with lots of different flowers & herbs. It's walkable with wheelchair or walker. You can get to waterfall but view only at the top if with wheelchair or walker; to go down there are a few stairs with very steep steps.

Soooo beautiful! Took my college student, 2 school age kiddos, and toddler here. The climb was very easy and we were able to do it without a guide—even the baby! There’s 2 pools on the way up the waterfall to swim in. Beautiful views of Ocho Rios at the top. There’s also a restaurant that takes credit cards! Great value and a must see. I can’t say enough great things about this place.

The Garden House is located here and is ideal for wedding ceremonies. Very, very beautiful location and the premises are well kept. The CARIBBEAN fauna is amazing and a wide variety makes for a fascinating adventure for plant lovers. The drive up Shaw Park Road is like driving through the garden of Eden.

Cant say enough about how great the experience was. We were greeted right away by the guide Andrew Clarke. He did an amazing job at explaining everything as we walked through the garden and museum leading to the waterfall. He does his job very well and we really look forward to bringing family and friends next time we go so they can experience it for themselves. Much love Andrew! Ya- Man!!

0/10 would not recommend. The place is a disgrace and is falsely advertised. Management does not care whether the experience is enjoyable or not and has poor customer service skills. The falls has little to no water. The only sufficient things they have is their garden and a few birds. Hope Gardens and Zoo has better attractions even so.

I wish you could rate lower than a one star. There’s little or no water in what they call the “falls.” You pay $1500 JMD to look at trees and flowers and the fall has more stones than water. Customer Service is beyond poor, and that Manager they have is not so much of a manager. He blatantly told me that it matters not if they get a poor review and that they can do nothing about the fact that our visit was not satisfactory...It’s just purely false advertisement because what was advertised was not what we got. Take my foolish advice and don’t ever waste your hard earned money to come to a place that doesn’t value their customers and is based on purely false advertisement.

Handed off to a tour when you arrive, and you barely see the falls. You aren't told this on the way in that you don't see anything but the swimming pool at the top. Paid 20 each to see some birds, plants, and koi. Waste of time and money.

We went on this excursion through Moon Palace Resort. They have lockers for 10 USD and you'll get 5USD back. The water was refreshing. We had two life guards guide our group up the falls. There's a camera man that takes video and pictures and makes things interesting. There's no rush to get to the top but it is a little physical so one couple just stayed around the viewing patio. Our guide then gave us jerk chicken bites, took us around the garden and gave us a brief history in the museum. BTW 1USD is about 120 Jamaica so tips are very appreciated.

One of the best attractions on the island. The property is beautiful. Don't even bother with Dunns River. It's a money & tourist trap. Konoko Falls is more beautiful & more affordable.

We had an awesome time at Konoko Falls. The guides helping us up the falls were great. They took great care that we ascended the falls safely and had a good time doing it. The guide that showed us around the property was very knowledgeable of the local plants. We were able to get our pictures with an iguana, parrot and snake.

I like that apart from the falls, they have other attractions. There's a small zoo section where you also have the opportunity to hold some of the animals (snakes, birds and iguanas). They used to offer budgie (bird) feeding, but I was told that since the start of the pandemic, they no longer allow it. They also have a small botanical garden and offer tours. The falls are gorgeous but to get to them you either go down everlasting and steep stairs or you can access part of the top of the falls via ramp. They have a bar / restaurant on property which I did not purchase anything from because of their card machine issue (they only had one working card machine in their office the last time I went, which means every purchase was inconvenient). The workers were pleasant and definitely did the best that they could with the card machine issue, but just know you should have cash on hand in case!

Want a challenge... Then climb Konoko falls and go all the way to the top, if you dare, as you hear the mission impossible song playing in your head...what an accomplishment...but the imposing falls needs one of their friendly tour guide to help you make it to the top and makes it feel easier than it looks. What a thrill!

Incredible place. A warm welcoming environment, with friendly staff & well taken care of animals. We got to hold Ziggy the iguana 🦎 and Sonny the parrot 🦜 We saw other beautiful birds and fish. Sam (the crocodile 🐊) was too stubborn to let us see his entire beauty 😁 It was a great experience overall, but the steps coming back up from the bottom of the falls was like climbing Mount Everest ⛰ Got a great work out tho! 😂

Honestly had a better time here than I did at Dunn’s River Falls. A lot less crowded, and you get more time to actually relax and be in natural pools. The lifeguard was so helpful and easygoing on our way up the falls, taking pictures of us without us even having to ask. Just a magical time, really. I’d recommend this to anyone.

Very lovely place. Great for school trips and family outings alike. However, I must say this, the Falls are very mossy, which cases slippy rocks, and some holes are full of clay. It brings naturality to the area, but I'm sure it can be given more cleaning and care. Overall, for the price, it is worth it. And you are free to leave at anytime.

Really terrible customer service. The website is NEVER updated, they don’t answer the phones. When I went during a regular business day they were closed for a wedding, which could’ve been stated on the website or online on their social media. The drive there was long, so it really would’ve been convenient for it to be stated on the website. Don’t ever just show up, call WEEKS in advance. Smh

Konoko Falls!!!! Where do I begin? I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely be back for another trip. It is situated on the outskirts of the famous town of OCHO RIOS and is an absolute promote for Mother Nature. Of note, the journey there can be winding and somewhat scary because of the extremely narrow roads and hilly turns but once there you won’t regret it. You are greeted with tall green forestry in the parking lot and a big sign that clearly distinguishes your arrival. The price to enter is fairly reasonable so it’s fit for a group or individual setting. Staff was warm and welcoming and stood out wearing their branded tops. There was so much to see, basically rare plants and aquatic animals alike. If you are a selfie lover then this is where you can get out the camera and start shooting some selfies! The tour guide assigned to you or your group will be educating you as you go along so feel free to ask questions. I specifically remember passing a bridge that had this tall tree in the background and that provided an extra cool shade amidst the piercing rays of the sun. On the way to the falls, you will reach the chill zone that has one of the most well kept gardens in Jamaica. The lush green grass and the zoo like setting around it was incredible. One could see a crocodile in his cage, parrots, snakes, owls and many more unique birds. Because you are so far up in the hills you could also see an overview of St Ann and trust me when I say it is incredible! The chill spot is where you safely rent a locker and put away your things so you should bring only the necessities. I must say that the journey to the entrance of the falls was nothing short of an extreme leg workout! There were clearly more than a 100 steps in total base on the number of flights of stairs to climb down. I would probably recommend you don’t have a leg injury if you are going to attempt climbing falls in general. You would be able to take selfies and shoot more iconic pictures on the way as well because the varying level of nature. Anyways, so you are now at the entrance of the falls. Looking at the entire falls you are going to climb you would feel motivated because the end is in sight. Unlike the bigger falls like a “Dunn’s River” Konoko Falls is a definite easier falls to climb and yes you still have a tour guide. The water like most falls is cold so don’t be too shocked to feel the soothing coolness. I think the coolest part of the falls was the section where you can go down into a small like cave and only stuff your head in it. To put that into perspective you can only got your upper body in the cave and you have to turn side ways. There is also a “falls pool” so you can take a breather and swim around literally on the falls. If you get too wild though you will be stirring up the mud and therefore the water can get real muddy shortly so be mindful of that. Arriving at the top, you can will meet upon more slipping stones so be mindful of that as well. I do remember some slippery sections but thumbs up to the tour guide to clearly point them out so you can avoid it! After you are through climbing the falls you will make your way back to the chill area where there is an on site dj with nice music! Reggae and a mix of culture songs would be rocking into your soul until you feel your head start involuntarily nodding. There is a dance area and some historical drawings depicting the life of the Indigenous people before our time. This was cool. Overall Konoko Falls was a great experience for me and my friends!

This was my favorite excursion. Guides were great, falls and gardens were beautiful..minimal sales pressure. Those with knee/foot/other mobility issues may wish to avoid. The climb seemed a little more difficult than Dunns River Falls. The pools are not as deep, but steeper climb. Well worth it though. There was also a restaurant/bar that had excellent jerk chicken.

(Translated by Google) It's okay so far but I wouldn't go there again. The park is quite small, here and there birds sit in cages and you get e.g. also put a macaw on the shoulder. That was it. If you take your time, you'll be through the park in 45 minutes. Better go straight to the Dunn River Falls.

The staff warm, courteous and friendly. The ambience is breathtaking the experience is to die for trust me you won't regret it. Perfect for all ages I went earlier this year and I'm planning to go back next year.

Tour guide was good the mini zoo was great. The scenery wonderful but the only draw back was the fall. There was more rocks than water

I'm a native of the island, Konoko falls its an experience one should definitely have. I especially loved the tour, the staff was well informed super friendly and made each and every visitor feel welcomed and loving the experience. Loved the animal side if the tour as well

Beautiful, scenic, quiet and breath taking when looking from the overview, the falls is quite a catch, have multiple rest spots on the way to the top, making that view also great. Only draw back...took over 45 minutes to be served our food and another 5 minutes for my wifes' order to be redone which came back cold. I will enjoy the view and the falls, wont be eating here again.

Location is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Kids had a great time. Food is available for purchase on sight but not that great but the sights and waterfall made up for that.

The place was very beautiful and I really had the best time, thanks to my amazing company. If you love nature and animals, this is absolutely a place to visit. I must say though the signage to getting to the place was poor. They have signs but it’s really low and hidden, so that could be fixed. I also didn’t experience the best customer service. In fact, we realized after paying our money, we were on our own. We had to tour ourselves lol and find our own way around. Again signs weren’t the best help so we just walked around. Dress comfortably (shoes especially) and I’d suggest backpacks so you can easily walk around. Also it’s so beautiful you’ll want to take photos! Thank God I had my tripod, it really came in handy. Overall, if I’m going again, it’s really because of the beautiful place. Oh they have very reasonable food prices compared to other places in the area. That shocked us, even though we didn’t eat there. Not a bad place. Fix these things and easily they could’ve gotten 5stars.

Calling all nature lovers...this is a must do, see and experience. Beautiful grounds. Lovely animals. Well kept falls. Food was nicely priced and very tasty. The pork...it made me smile. A must do.

It was an awesome experience from the interaction with the animals, the amazing views and the climbing of the falls. The lifeguard was so patient with those who weren't so strong to climb the falls.

Ambience was really nice, however we didn't have much of a great experience, not sure if its due to covid but there wasn't much to fi other than to look at the animals n walk down by the falls and back that was about it.

The scenery is awesome and all of the grounds and vegetation really nail the paradise feel. The area where the animals are is a nice addition. The food and drink options were all great and the prices weren't that bad. The gift shop also wasn't as pricey as I thought. The falls are easy to climb and there pools of water at different levels that you can relax in on the way up. There stairs to climb to the top if you want to do that, but be prepared its a steep climb. Its not as busy as the other falls attraction in the area and it looks like more locals go here. One other thing they do upcharge tourists, so if someone in your party is from the island let them do all the purchasing

The falls are lovely the grounds are also wonderfully kept. It was mostly a great experience except that the restaurant closed off early and we didn't know so we ended up without food.

Don't even waste your money going there. I spent $13 000 for our group and spent approximately 45mins there. We did enjoy seeing the various birds and lush greenery. The issue we encountered was trying to get into the pool of water at the bottom of the falls with the kids. We stood there and waited about 30mins while one group of about 10 people stayed in the pool of water and didn't give a chance to anyone else to get in the water. The bottom of the falls is a small area and the only place you can really get wet and my group with a few kids were not able to get in. They should monitor or limit the number of people they let in since it is so limited. I felt like I wasted $13 000 ($1500 each adult and $1000 for kids) just to look at some birds and had to find a beach after to bring the kids since Konoko Falls was so disappointing. We had plans of spending a few hours here but the time lasted 45mins , out of which 30mins we stood on the side waiting to get into the water. Don't waste your money , just go to Dunns River where you also have access to the beach.

Such a beautiful place to take friends, family and loved ones. This isn't a very well known place, tourism wise. Had to search outside of the typical resort suggested excursions and tours to find this place. Great experience and well worth price of admission.

Such an unforgettable family memory. We climbed the falls with our teenage grandchildren and their parents. There are cooling pools on the way up and even a small cave. You'll need water shoes with grip and don't forget a gratuity. This grandma with 4 joints replaced made it to the top (where there is an amazing view and lush gardens) with the help of their outstanding staff.

Great experience. You get a tour of plants and animals before you climb the falls. Jermaine was a fantastic guide. He was so careful with all of us. Loved the cave.

Lovely alternative to Dunns river falls, just as pretty and not as busy. Also get a tour around the gardens with an informative guide. Steps to falls are quite steep the only negative.

It's a little excursion that packs a lot of history of the island and it's beauty in a day. There's a lot of walking up and down hills on uneven footing, but our tour guide took the time to ensure all were safe. A surprise of local wildlife during the tour was a fun twist!

Our guide, Noldi (I hope I spelled it correctly) was excellent. Very kind and super informative. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the animals are obviously very well-cared for. Such beauty and history. We’re so grateful to have had the chance to see the falls and learn everything we did.

So much fun, we had a group excursion here. Our guide a nice young gal was great, she told us about a lot of the different plants and flowers they have there. We had 2 wonderful guys who guided us up the waterfall,l. I just felt bad my money was in the bus and I went back to get it to tip them and our driver was ready to leave. Sorry guys, 😞 you 2 were wonderful!

Absolutely gorgeous park with amazing views. Beautiful wildlife, waterfalls, and a cliff overlooking Ochos Rios. Had a great guide who walked us through the park. Wish we could have had more time, but we were on an excursion with Norwegian cruise lines and had to stay with our group.

If you are a nature lover and water baby like me, Konoko falls is the perfect place to be. It’s a falls and zoo so if you’re looking to interact with different species, you are in the right spot. The property is huge! Family trips, friendship outings or just a nice tour day, I recommend. Getting to the bottom of the falls is tiring and getting back up is twice as tiring but it’s all worth it. The water is cool and the scenery is super relaxing.

This is an amazing experience. It's very relaxing and gets your mind off of the day today. The water is crystal clear and the flowers are beautiful. Great experience

Great smaller falls and be ready to climb up via the falls or stairs. Pretty little park zoo with flora and fauna and animals.
