I must admit, I do love this wee theatre. Steeped in history, and in a seaside town. The staff are friendly & accommodating. Last visit, it was slightly cool. This visit it was far too hot but the staff couldn't get the radiators turned off. It is an older building. Taking this into consideration, I'm always pleasantly surprised at the legroom for each seat, which makes the whole theatre experience much more enjoyable.

Saw the Circus of horrors, it was brilliant. When going in everyone was told to wear masks and you had to do a covid test before you went so i felt safe.

Great panto again this year. The Gaiety is a really nice comfortable, intimate and small historical theatre, it's staffed by volunteers and kept running mainly by donations. They manage to produce their own unique panto every year. It's always been a great place to see a show or a concert. Some really big stars have played the Gaiety over the years. Love it πŸ˜€

Had a great time at the panto. The tickets were reasonably priced the theatre inside looked great. The sweets were reasonably priced and the panto was thoroughly entertaining family had a ball. I am so glad the Gaiety survives and should be encouraged to continue to thrive as a great resource.

Staff at the theatre were brilliant & well organised. Nice to visit a theatre that doesn't rip you off. Β£3 for a very generous tub of ice cream. Free Parking available in surrounding streets after 6pm. Lots of parking fine horror stories for car park beside theatre. DON'T USE , YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

What a great night. Made special by learning that all staff are volunteers. We had loads of laughs. The live vocals and dance moves were excellent. We saw Queenz, a very funny and emotive show πŸ˜„

I always enjoy visiting the nice area of Ayr & this venue for some live music. Located in the heart of the town centre so easy to get to. They offer a wide variety of live entertainment so there's always something going on for everyone to check out. Show tickets, drinks & ice creams priced competitively. Pleasant staff & comfy seating. Was recently here again while on a week's trip travelling throughout Scotland to see Talon, an amazing Eagles tribute band. Look forward to returning to this theatre next time I'm in the area.

Have been coming to the Gaiety for years & every time I come to see a show, I seem to see a bit of architecture, etc, that I'd not noticed before. Inside the building is beautiful with three levels to view a show from. You have the stalls, the circle & what we all called 'the gods' as it seems so high up. There are also two boxes to watch a show, too. There have been some great shows here & thankfully, there still are great shows coming throughout the year. The prices are very good & the staff, who are mainly volunteers, are very courteous, happy & knowledgeable. I've just seen the pantomime with my granddaughter & had a truly brilliant time. The only issue I have, which is nothing at all to do with the theatre, is the car park beside it as the machines are either not working or you have to get a ticket using a website whilst in the car park & you only get 3 hours which at times have made it a close thing to get back to the car before the time runs out. It's a private company who own it & as far as I'm aware are extremely strict on enforcing times etc.

The Gaiety Theatre is a cozy, well appointed building with very good acoustics! Like so many, in need of donations and patronages to upkeep and express the true beauty of this fine theatre!

My PA I were at the gaiety theatre tonight to see the Ayrshire lads. What a fantastic performance Unfortunately someone took unwell during the show, but the situation was dealt with swiftly and professionally I'll be back at the gaiety to see Raymond Mearns, so roll on April!

Had a wonderful Panto experience here last week.' Jamie and the Unicorn' was written for the Gaiety Theatre and beautifully performed by a very talented cast. My grand children were spellbound. This theatre relies on volunteers, who do a fantastic job, and donations to survive. So dig deep and support a worthy cause.

We were here on Saturday night for the Jamie and the Unicorn panto. What a show! We thought it would be more for the kids but all the adults in our party were enthralled too. An absolute must see. After a couple of hard years for these venues, I'm so pleased that it has reopened and can produce wonderful shows again. WELL DONE!!
