Great evening at this beautiful gem in Aberdeen. Worth going just to see the building but play was very funny too. Comedy version of an old classic. Well worth a visit. Modern extension containing a good restaurant/coffee shop too.

What an experience, my first time ever at His Majesty's theatre did not disappoint. Went to see the production Joseph and the technicolour dreamcoat. What a delight, the staff were friendly, the arena was spacious and comfortable. The merch stand was right by the main entrance which was handy and ofcourse the bar staff were quick and experienced. I enjoyed it alot and even got a wee booklet full of all the other performances they are planning throughout the year.

Beautiful! Great sound of orchestra. We watched Scottish Ballet performance and it was amazing. Theater is not very big but it has some history spirit to it. Clean and comfortable for sure. During intermission they actually bring some ice cream in if you do not like to leave, kind of sweet 😉

Wow, it’s great to be back in Aberdeen after 26 years! Massive changes all for the better! The theatre is as beautiful as it always was! I love the stone and designs of the buildings here. Truly beautiful.

Fantastic building. Beautiful theatre. Very friendly staff. Clean toilets. Guests were very well ushered, everything is very well organized. Lighting and sound are excellent 👌🏻 Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Watched "The ocean at the end of the lane". Best theatre I have ever watched and that's saying a lot.

Lovely little theatre. Sat in the right hand stalls in N9 - decent view of the stage however mildly cut off at the top (although did not impair vision). Also found that the seat also lead to some difficulty with the far stage left. Best seats would likely be a bit more central.

Panto has went downhill over the last few years. It’s now just a comedy with people running in & off the stage. I have been every year for the past 30 years. But the last few & this year were such a disappointment! If it wasn’t that I’m taking the grandchildren then I would have stopped going. The scenery is just big screen/curtains going up & down when it used to be actual buildings & sets. They used to interact with the children more, but now just toilet rolls were thrown into the audience. The jokes are all adult innuendo’s that goes over the children’s heads. So come on Alan get back to the old fashioned style of pantomime and make it about the children and not the adults. Don’t cut corners to save money, use proper sets/buildings, get back to a traditional pantomime

Buying tickets was quick and easy, entry and help directing to our seats was great. This years Panto was brilliant, it was hilarious. I want to see it again!! Walking back to the car, all you could hear from everyone was "Hi Gary...." you'll know if you were there!!

Show brilliant!! First and last time in balcony seat area, too steep and everyone has to sit sideways as your knees are pushing up against the seat in front. Seeing only half the stage, fortunately we were able to move towards the middle, seeing a little more of the stage.

There is something special about His Majesty’s, the most beautiful auditorium that puts many West End theatres in the shade. The stunning circular dress circle bar with its wonderful atmosphere sits well alongside the practical and recently revamped glass extension. Great to see HMT packed and buzzing for The Barber of Seville.

Enchanting old theatre, we had a good view from our seat when we were there a few weeks ago. Seats are rather old, someone's seat in row in front completely broke just before performance, however efficient staff had it fixed in no time for the person sitting in it. I think the theatre are trying to get newer seats anyway. Toilets fine, nice and clean. Would recommend.

I enjoyed the Buddy show today, it was great, definitely gives the feel good factor. Unfortunately the let's say lady at a stretch, behind me seemed to feel having her very smelly feet on the top of my seat.was ok.The lovely usherette tried to encourage her to conform and put her feet on the floor, with limited success. However the quality of the show won out in spite of the nuisance value.

I had two tickets for the Scottish Ballet's recent performance of A Streetcar Named Desire, which was brilliant. HMT itself is always a pleasure to visit. We had seats A23 and A24 in the dress circle, which had a fantastic view, although the seating and surrounding area itself could do with an upgrade! Still lovely though.

First class venue for operatic, musicals and ballet. Comfortable seating, good acoustics and subtitling above the stage to help with interpretation of the show.

Went to see Death Drop, Back In The Habit with my 2 adult children and we all loved it. The seats were well kept and all areas were clean. Can't wait to go back.

A beautiful theatre with a recently revamped cafe bar, The Terrace. Ornate internal architecture & comfy seats. There are no restricted viewing areas. I went to see The Girl from the North Country, a play using the songs of Bob Dylan, which was moving & emotional. I've been visiting this theatre for over 40 years & never had a bad experience.

Friendly FoH team, in and to our seats without any issue, and out again at end of performance easily. First time back since COVID, and was good to be back.

The Terrace café-bar is now open. A stylish brasserie space with great views across Union Terrace, the gardens, and beyond. Menu looks great, starters from £6, mains around £12, sandwiches about £8, desserts £6ish. Another great addition to the city centre. Looking forward to going back soon. Book ahead on show nights for sure.

Great show. Seats are horrendously too close to the ones in front. I had to stand at the back as it was so uncomfortable on my legs. Witnessed other people moving as well. Seats would be fine if you were a child.

The ballet was beautiful. The theatre was beautiful had an amazing night. Choose your seats carefully though. That is my only downside.

Lovely experience. Watched the stage play, Life of Cher, here in early October. Comfortable seating, good views and acoustics for an older theatre.

Grand venue with scary seating and marvelous views of the shows. I have seen the book of Mormon musical as well as ballet and opera at this theatre and the acoustics are superb.

Went to see Bat out if he'll the musical. Wow what a show. Staff were very helpful and polite.

The show mama Mia was amazing and the staff very helpful. Just be aware if you are in the balcony there are a lot of stairs! Also not much room when sitting, I'm only 5ft 1 and my knees were pushed against the seat in front. Very uncomfortable, luckily there was no one in front of us.

Great venue. Very clean and tidy. Toilets seem to be a bit poorly positioned for large audiences. If you have long legs you might want to avoid the balcony seating. Looking forward to visiting again.

Really enjoy our evenings here. Lovely ‘original’ feel to the theatre, cosy, intimate, and full of atmosphere. Plenty of leg room for a tall person. Easy access and ample parking locally. Expect to pay theatre / cinema prices whilst within, but that’s to be expected.

The theatre is absolutely beautiful and well kept, however it is not very accessible to the elderly or infirm. Even getting to your seat in the Dress Circle I had to hold onto the arms of the other seat going down. The staff at the front door were on the ball and entry and exit went smoothly. My seat wasn't the most comfortable and I wonder if they have a policy of going around and testing the seating on a regular basis. Saying that I usually always enjoy my visits and look forward to going back, they have a great variety of shows on offer.

I had never been this high up before, that was pretty cool but you miss so much of the stage when this high up and sit to the side. Would prob not sit so high up for the next show I see here
