Penningtons Tea and Coffee both make the perfect cuppa. I use Assam Tea, as I like a good malty brew in the moring to wake me up, and this certainly does the trick. The best thing about it is their personal service. I know I can contact them to discuss my requirements and oh so quickly, a lovely parcel arrives in the post. If you're looking for a unique gift or hamper, give them a call to arrange a bespoke box of treats everyone will love.

Service is always with a smile and 2nd to non, the product is great and this has been confirmed by all the people I have introduced to Pennington coffee. It’s worth spending a little to achieve allot and their responsible sourcing of coffee beans is a real comfort. As you can see I am a big fan and would encourage anyone to at least try them out.

Amazing coffee, lovely people, and amazing service! After spending 8 years in New Zealnad, I discovered a taste for coffee I never had. Now I am back home making my own flat whites using Pennington's amazing blends of espresso coffee. I could quite easily be sipping a delicious flat white from a cafe on the shores of Lake Wanaka in high summer, but I'm not, I'm at home in Kendal! **Pennington's ----> Highly recommend**

I get the fruit/herbal tea monthly subscription. It always arrives on time, is well packaged - but not overly so - and means I get to try some different flavours to what is available in supermarkets. I've not had one I don't like yet! I'd recommend this company wholeheartedly if you want to try something a little bit different, and support a family run company.

No order too large or too small...whether it's one bag for your own personal consumption at home or a catering sized order to service your hotel, boutique guest house or independent coffee shop the friendly Pennington Family will be more than happy to help. Very much worth the small detour if you're anywhere in the Kendal area...and mail order is also speedily dispatched if you're not! Check out the subscription service as well. A great gift that's gone down very well from everyone that we've sent it to.

I’m a big tea lover and can’t get enough of Pennington’s Fine Lakeland Blend, so much so that I now wouldn’t buy any other tea. We always buy extra to give to family and friends when we visit, and they have all been converted to Pennington products. The mail order service is first class and the personal thank you note just adds to the whole family feel and personal service of this business. If you haven’t tried Pennington products yet, give them a try you won’t regret it.

Penningtons barrel aged whisky blend where do I start!! This is the best coffee ever made in my opinion its awesome! The smell is out of this world, amazing barrel taste and a nice strong blend. I've tried many more expensive alternatives including dark woods, oven bird and whisky shop and nothing compares to penningtons. Please don't stop making this as my mornings will never be the same again 🤣

These guys have lots of delicious coffees and teas, and the roasting of coffee happens fresh on-site there in the Kendal roastery. We discovered the great-tasting coffee in a cafe in Kendal a couple of years ago, and then found ordering online was simple during lockdown. They do an option to subscribe and try different flavours too. Great family-run company with a warm welcome and always a friendly and interested team happy to talk about what they do. If you haven’t tried their Summit coffee yet you’re missing out!

Not even up for debate, best coffee in the world. Started using their coffee while working on a coffee van but still like the odd treat off penningtons now. It's either penningtons or no coffee in our cupboard which currently means no coffee lol. Very friendly very professional team and I don't think you'll find a place kept as tidy and clean as the penningtons headquarters. Even non Cumbrian business should make the switch

THE BEST tea and coffee.Everything we have tried is fabulous. Mostly order through the website and have it delivered as we don't live in Cumbria unfortunately. Website is easy to navigate and delivery is prompt. We only drink Penningtons tea and coffee now, that's how good it is. Give it a try, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
