Amazing view from the rooftop bar. The two stars are just for that. The food is TERRIBLY overpriced for the portions served, and was incredibly disappointing. It was over seasoned with salt and the mashed potatoes I had were not made from fresh potatoes, but tasted like they came out of a box. Drinks, also overpriced for the quality, were literally lukewarm when served and too sweet, and we had to keep asking for more ice. The people at the bar, I'm assuming workers at the hotel / restaurant, were incredibly loud and disruptive, and their behaviour destroyed the serenity of the space. Overrated; you're better off going to Labadi Beach Hotel or La Palm right down the street, and getting your money's worth. It's just such a terrible waste for such a beautiful spot to be under HORRIBLE management who clearly have zero vision.

Was woken up by a pool party that was still going on at 3:45am Friday morning - I live half a mile away! So great that Accra has ANOTHER place for the entitled where wealth and privilege override any concern for people living nearby. Perfect place to stay if you're young and full of your own self importance.

Hotel OWNER VERY RUDE!!! Niece wants to move to Ghana decided to come to this property see what they have to offer. We decided to go and swim and enjoy the rooftop grab some drinks and relax. We were approached by this short Indian women who came shouting at us and other group of black women ask asking if we were guest staying at the property. We told her no , she was attitude and demeanor towards her guest and other ladies at the pool was distasteful. Even how she spoke to her workers were nasty. One women even had to pull her to the side and let her know that what she was doing wasn’t hospitable at all. She demanded that we pay , which was never a issue we are black professionals we can cover any bill here in Accra. I was so shocked and disgusted that my niece wouldn’t even want to ever stay there or even return to swim. THIS IS THE ISSUE IN AFRICA !!! Outsiders coming in and being rude to the blacks and their workers.

View is nice but service is poor. Took a while to be attended to by a waitress. After ordering, it took a long time for the drink to arrive and even longer for the food to arrive. They really need to improve!!!

Suncity hotel is an amazing please to be right now. Good food, amazing customer service by their staff. The was this waitress who serviced me, Regina is her name, she is very polite and down to earth. I felt at home in her presence thanks. Overall had a great time there and definitely come once again.

Ordered for Strawberry Daiquiri, and this is what I got. Had to go back to the waiter to explain to him that strawberry daiquiri is always frozen and he’s saying I had to specify if I wanted it frozen. This was 50 cedis by the way

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable. Deborah the bartender was very professional and courteous. Can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again.

i had the opportunity for to spend sometime at this hotel and i have to commend it on its amenities. adaptability friendly. the pool at the rooftop nails it for me. rooms, restaurant on point etc. its a nice place to spend a weekend especially considering the rooftop, nice view and very relaxing. but i cant give it 5star, as usually customer service was poor. prices of their food and drinks is quiet okay too.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly and their supervisor too. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some Indian dishes and other great dishes to try, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

My friends and I were welcomed and greeted with respect and suavity by the friendly Nelson who lightened up our faces with his beautiful smile and masterclass service. The place is very nice and it’s aesthetic effects is so embracing. The entire experience was extremely awesome and wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, it is well kept and maintained. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating, allowing early check in and late checkout. Covid testing done right i. The comfort of our room for our departure. The breakfast brunch was diverse in ethnic options and tasty. The spa was amazing and extremely affordable. The pool waiters and staff were our favorites 😍. Overall an amazing stay would definitely recommend and stay there again

Me and my Woman came to suncity, we were seated at the lobster bar and the expectations were so on point. The Food was very delicious and amazing Thumbs up to the kitchen for a Job well done, secondly thanks to Daniel the supervisor for giving us a great service and recommendations on Drinks. The place seems very quiet for me , cause I’m used the old suncity vibes . But all the same nothing really has changed except few faces , good old cocktails, service was excellent from waiting to bartender Mr Francis. Who was very friendly and good mixing skills skill. Good food as well especially the wings. We Will definitely come back when next I’m in town.

My experience with Sun City hotel apartments was absolutely amazing ! I would like to start with the owner Shipra her customer service was amazing she always made sure I was comfortable and went out of her way to ensure all of my needs were met. Housekeeping was always great and on time. Friendly service the rooftop bar always had everything that I needed every staff there was very welcoming very warm and I never had an issue with security I always felt extremely safe. The ambience of Sun City hotel is very relaxing, very exciting, and very very fun I would refer anyone to Sun City hotel apartments for short stay or long stay it would be the best experience you ever had while In Ghana. I recently visited Sun City to check out the roof top. The staff at this location were extremely nice, attentive and professional. In particular my hostess-server was so polite and professional. I recall her name as Ms. Patience Nabil. She certainly made me feel at home and was open to giving me and my business partner information regarding the hotel and the general area. We visit Ghana from the U.S at least every 2 months. We are certainly considering Sun City as a place to stay long term on future visits. Thanks Patience and staff for making us feel welcomed in Ghana.

Hi, I would highly recommend this hotel. This place is very clean and safe, with a friendly staff. I remember Regina one of the servers, she was very attentive and pleasant.

Even though staff was notified in a short period, they responded immediately and gave me a good service.. room was very clean, and cleaners came in every morning to clean the room.. I had no problems with my stay and will definitely recommend to every traveler and enjoyed your service Pearltina

Loved the manager! He was so accommodating and kind however all the other employees were rude, from the entrance. The guard at the entrance very rudely accosted me because I didn’t walk up to him and tell him where I was going. Apparently, we are also entitled to only 2 rolls of toilet paper for the entire stay and after that, we’ll need to buy our own tissue. They also wouldn’t bring up an extra duvet because apparently we are entitled to only one. AND THEN, the receptionist called us before the checkout time to ask if she could send a maid to clean the room, trying to basically bully us into checking out.

The food was good,I loved the pool and just looking at the cars passing. Sunset was so beautiful.

Rooftop bar had a nice vibe. But waiting staff had zero care. Cocktails weren't cold, food was blah. It will be nice if food and drinks matched the vibe and they got professional waiting staff.

Some friends and I decided to go and check out this Apartment/Hotel rooftop restaurant and pool. Amazing view , great staff they were very attentive and respectful. As we were enjoying our time at the pool we were approached by this Indian women literally yelling at up at the top of her lungs asking if we stayed here over and over again. We were so shock by her approach. She was very rude didn’t say hello didn’t introduce herself. Her reasoning was she wanted to give us chocolates for Valentine’s Day , but only if we were staying at the property . My friend approached her very calmly and ask her why would she raise her voice at us , when we are guest. The owner was very disrespectful to my friend even put her hand in her face said have a good evening dismissed her. Even snapped at workers and told them have them pay. Apparently there’s a fee to swim if you’re not a guest which is 175cedis per person. There’s no sign that states that. Just a heads up is you want to go there and swim.

I spent my Christmas season in Ghana, and stayed at the Suncity Apartment Hotel. My stay at this apartment hotel was nothing but fantastic. The management and staff were very polite and responsive to all my needs. The apartment was kept clean throughout my stay and has all the amenities that you will find in a one bedroom apartment. Visit the Helicopter restaurant on the rooftop where you can get a good view of Osu and its surroundings. Could not have reserved a better place. A home away from home.
