beautiful little shop! i have been anticipating the opening of this place. joe behind the counter was very kind and took time to answer all questions and engage in friendly chit chat. he told me all about the products/services that they currently offer as well as what they plan on offering in the future. he recommended that the first thing to try would definitely be cinnamon rolls. he knew what he was talking about! these must be their specialty. it was warm and fresh. i also purchased a brownie as per his recommendation. everything looked so delicious and the presentation was wonderful. all of the desserts were very big, so it’s perfect for sharing with your pals. you definitely don’t have to be vegan to enjoy their desserts. give it a go!

Discovered this beautiful vegan shop while staying at a hotel nearby during a visit to NY. We always love finding good vegan options when visiting places. This, by far, may be one of my favorite vegan bakeries. Though we only were able to get 3 items off their selections to try for today given we had breakfast already, they were all really yummy. Right amount of sweetness and textures were also great. We plan to return a couple more times to try more items.

Since I discovered this place while passing by it I had to give it a try. Anything vegan I will try. When I arrived I parked on the street on the side. I walked into a cute little shop. The lady was busy when I walked in but the man came out so friendly and welcoming. So I had a couple of questions about the pastries and ended up getting the s'more cookie and the lemon cupcake. It came to $8. When I got in I tasted the pastries and they were very good. Both had great flavor and I loved both items. I will definitely return to try more.

One of the Best vegan or regular cake for that matter that I’ve ever had. Ordered a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and vanilla with strawberry frosting cupcakes for my son’s birthday. We are forced vegan since he is allergic to egg but honestly I don’t think I will eat regular cake again after this. Also, communication with the owner was quick and easy to order and pay ahead. Highly recommend.

I decided to stop by to purchase a cake. I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but I’m lactose intolerant and my son can’t have eggs. I figured it was worth a try. I purchased some cupcakes and a vanilla cake. Everything was great! I was pleasantly surprised and was happy that it didn’t have a weird consistency or taste. It’s such a relief to be able to eat something that won’t give us a reaction. My favorite so far has been the tres leches cupcake. They had so many goodies but I didn’t want to go too crazy. I can’t wait to come back and pick up some more!

My sisters and I love this place, we travel from PA every few months to get the assorted vegan pastry offerings! The chocolate is so rich and decadent, u can't even tell it's vegan! Everything is delicious and the staff is always friendly and helpful!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this incredible vegan bakery and words simply cannot express how impressed I am with their desserts. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with the heavenly aroma of freshly baked goods and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The selection of vegan desserts was simply incredible and it was hard to choose which one to try first. I ended up going with a mix berries and it was hands down the best vegan cheesecake I have ever had! I couldn't believe that it was vegan, it tasted so indulgent and satisfying. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable for the high quality of the desserts. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone who is looking for delicious vegan desserts. Vegan Pastry Lab is amazing. I tried their vegan sausage and cheese stuffed bagel, it was SO delicious! It was very tasty and the vegan sausage wasn't over cooked like some places do. I also bought their assorted vegan cupcakes for a birthday party and they were a hit among vegan and non vegan family members. I thought I would take the extras home. Unfortunately that did not happened, they went faster than another other baked goods at the party. On another wall, the Vegan Pastry Lab has some skin care items that looked and smelled great. I bought the Kush cream for my tattoos. I moisturized and make my dry skin feel so much better. I highly recommend the Vegan Pastry Lab for their food, baked goods and "other" items.

Wow, what a find! I can’t believe the vegan options available. It’s heaven. The pastries are so fresh and delicious. The lemon cupcakes are amazing; perfect blend of lemon and sweetness. The Peanut Butter & Jam bar is out of this world, so delectable!!! Also, I have to mention Carlos, he is such a sweetheart and was so helpful in making my choices. I will definitely be back.

Came here because I have a dairy allergy. I bought 2 cupcakes and a weed water. Decent prices. The two cupcakes were good but one of mine had a large hole in the cupcake and the cupcakes are pretty small to begin with. Besides that, cupcakes are delicious and noticed they are going to have ice cream soon. I want to go check that out. Will edit review with ongoing visits.

This place is as so cute! Bakery that sells vegan goodies like candles, snacks, gummies and other things like incense. The woman Jen was so helpful, friendly and outgoing. The cake was delicious but we were not a huge fan of the icing on it. I will definitely go back though! Thank you!

Visited the Vegan Pastry Lab and the pastries and customer service was AMAZING. I will definitely be going back as this place is awesome ❤️. I bought the Cookie n Cream cupcake, Red Velvet cupcake, GF Cream cheese brownie and Chocolate Chip marshmallow cornflake cookie 😋. Btw, I’m not vegan but the goodies here is definitely making me contemplate trying more vegan food.

A beautiful clean small vegan bakery shop with excellent cupcakes. I tried chocolate babka and it was good. No place to sit inside or outside, it is a grab and go. They also sell plants.

The BEST vegan bakery spot in nj/nyc area! So many options. So much varieties. *chef’s kiss* and reasonably priced!! Cant wait to order my birthday cake next year with them!

Delicious pastries! Many candies and other goodies, a fun place to shop! Wish I was hungry for their sandwhiches, they looked very good. Service was professional and kind, I'm glad I found this place. I will definitely be back!

Cake was super moist and not too sweet. It was a lot of cake. I ordered a two tee one which had great height and can easily feed 15-20 people. And the best was the three tier ultimate chocolate cake. Flavor was superb with a bit of cookie dough at the bottom and enough for approx 30’people. I also order one gluten free cake. I was told they can not tell it was GF.

Such a fantastic business! I get my wife's birthday cake here every year, and now I've started finding every reason I can to celebrate (e.g., my dog's birthday), just to have another delicious vegan cake! Cris is a terrific owner who is very customer friendly! I highly recommend the lemon blueberry cake with lemon frosting! And now, they have some amazing savory options for those who choose to be cruelty free! It's not a business you're likely to see if you're not looking for it. It's in a rather inconspicuous spot, so make the effort to find it! You won't regret it!

Cute little store. I’m SO happy they opened. I’m dairy free and can have barely any pastries. However, this place finally appeared and they have all the treats you could ask for. I’m a huge fan of the PBJ bar and unicorn blondie. Their prices are also super low. I go there every time i’m home from school!
