Trying out PHUH for the first time tonight and I am so happy I did. Ordered the veggie pho with chicken and the bulgogi mam-ma. The veggie pho broth was very flavorful and delicious. Portion was great and totally enjoyed every pho drop. The bulgogi mam-ma was also very tasty and well prepared. Was large enough to have leftovers for the next day. Got to also try out the fried dumplings and they were crispy and seasoned just right. Delicious Vietnamese pho and Korean dishes and also open late night makes it a definite return! Just found my new favorite late night eats 🍜🥟🍛🥢🍜 😋

I'm floored at how amazing the food was. My bud and I ordered some chicken dumplings, kimchi bulgogi fries, and spicy beef pho. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of the fries because we couldn't stop stuffing our faces with em'. I haven't raced to eat something so quickly in my life. And the pho; delicious. A hint of spicy, the beef tender, noodles plentiful, and the broth smooth and glistening. The location was also very clean, the staff way too nice, and it really did smell nice in there. The candles were a nice touch. Def coming back here for more! Edit; a small update. I've been coming back here nearly twice a week. The food is absurdly amazing.

The pho here is great. Can order some appetizers to go and visit nearby breweries, which are in walking distance.

One of the last great restaurants that are open late in NJ. They have really good rice dishes where bulgogi meat or chicken can be chosen. Personal favorite is the spicy marinated chicken and white rice. The popcorn chicken and french fries are also really good where they're seasoned and not greasy. Prices also seem fair for portion sizes. They're dumplings are also good, I prefer them plain or dry seasoned without stir. The restaurant is fairly small with space for about 8 people to eat as a group and four more by themselves on stools by the window. Real good restaurant for fair prices and good food that's open late.

I didn’t know what to expect. This place isn’t your traditional Vietnamese spot but more along the lines of Asian fusion. Being the pho phreak that I am, I tried their version of pho or “Phuh” as it is listed on the menu. I ordered the beef noodle soup with extra chili oil and it was amazing! The broth was rich and bursting with flavor. For $17, you also get a huge bowl, with liberal portions of beef. I love to be surprised and I was. This place def checked all the boxes. Highly recommend.

Wow, I am so glad I stumbled upon this place! I was looking for some good Korean food (which they serve here along with Vietnamese dishes, like pho and banh mi). I had the the spicy pork mam ma and my partner had the bulgogi mam ma. We also had steamed chicken dumplings. These dishes were all to DIE for! My favorite was the bulgogi over rice. The mam ma dishes come with a perfectly fried egg as well. The server was very nice and helpful, and the restaurant is such a cute little corner joint. Really nice & intimate atmosphere, and lovely warm lighting & decor. I can't travel to Hackensack often because it's nearly an hour from my home, but I WILL be coming back here anytime I'm in town. I can't wait to try other dishes!

Tried out PHUHROO for the first time today (2/5/21) for dinner (takeout). Ordered Bulgogi (rice & meat stir together - Original). The food was really good and highly recommend. I look forward to trying out Bulgogi again but the spicy flavor option and other items from their menu.

We loved our visit to Phuh Roo. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the place is clean and cute. We left so full and satisfied! What we got: kimchi bulgogi fries, beef and shrimp dumplings, spicy pho, spicy pork bowl, kimchi and bacon fried rice, and fruit tea. Everything was so yummy!

This place is great! I had a door dash order to pick up and while waiting I was looking at their menu and things sounded pretty tasty so I came back later. For one the employees are phenomenal, so so so nice. The interior is pretty and clean. I got the chicken dumplings and I was scared cause I had dumplings from somewhere else and I was disgusted but this place was on point! The guy that served me was so nice and we had nice small talk, I felt very welcomed and I’ll definitely go back and recommend this place.

Food was absolutely amazing. The Bahn-mis were to die for and I’m not the biggest fan of this dish in general!! The pho was very yummy but the star of the show had to be the kimchi bulgogi fries. Honestly insane how delicious they were, and I will definitely be back to try the fried rice next—I heard great things. 10/10 service as well, the man who served me was so pleasant and very helpful. Love this place.

A sweet family shop slinging some very solid Korean-Vietnamese fusion. We tried and loved the spicy beef broth pho with chicken and the chicken rice bowl (Mamma) and everything felt so restorative. The owner and his family were also truly delightful to us and even threw in some chicken gyoza on the house.

I tasted the rice noodles here. The soup is rich in flavor. If you like soup or noodle dishes, it's good to try. Especially since it's open at night, it's a fantastic place to soothe if you're hungry late at night

Amazing amazing amazing!!! Went there during my NYC visit that included Jersey and it was the only place open late around my area that seemed nice. I got there late at night like an hour before closing and the place was still vibrant with great customer service and the music they were playing was also amazing (a total vibe). Got the spicy Pho and also was my first ever Pho and it was mouthwatering amazing <3 If I am ever back in NYC or Jersey I will definitely make a trip to Hackensack to come back.

Had their ramen soup, and it definitely was one of the best I've had! The serving is worth your money. It's one of those nice hidden gem places to find. I'm coming back again to try something else. Thank you!

My boyfriend is obsessed with place, the Kimchi fries are his favorite. The kimchi is spicy so we ask for it on the side. We also get the mama bulgogi which we both really like. I love their mango drink it doesn’t have boba but it has mango chucks which is better in my opinion. I’ve come 2 times this week so far. The owner is very much. Food comes out very fast too never waited more then 10 mins.
