Spent 3 days and 2 nights at the facility where I had a spinal fusion done. The hospital is very nice, clean, and modern. The staff is super amazing and caring. They went out of their way each day to make sure I was comfortable and wanted for nothing. They truly care and are a fantastic group of people. I hope I never have to have surgery again, but if I do, this is where I want to be. Thank you Avala for taking such great care of me!

This is as the most efficient hospital we have been to. Everyone was so helpful. I highly recommend. Having a chef was over the top! Great food & always on time. Very impressive . Also EXTREMELY CLEAN! We WILL use again & recommend. Third floor staff were GREAT!!!!!

My name is Lawrence Newsome and I just had surgery at Avala hospital and I don’t have anything good to say concerning this hospital I have had five surgeries there now that was all necessary there a very professional hospital they truly care about you the nurses staff are excellent and the doctors that are on board a very thorough and efficient so if you choose to go to this Hospital you can know that you have made a very good choice

I can’t say enough positive things! I had an incredible experience. My night nurse and CNA were beyond incredible and were always two steps ahead of me to ensure I had everything I needed and that I was in as little pain as possible for my recovery!

Wonderful professional service at every level. I had back surgery by Dr Sean Ryder, and the entire team during recovery were caring and understanding of the needs. I felt loved and treated with care as an important guest. The ratio of nurses and patients was incredible, so I was always a priority... I highly recommend to all my combat veteran brothers to strongly consider making an appointment at AVALA it will be best care you have ever received.

Great staff, provided excellent comfort, had the most wonderful nurse, he was very caring and compassionate. And to top it off with the Most friendliest, kindest, passionate, caring, straight forward, doctor Dr Rolling for performing my procedure, with his team making sure that I remain safe during the procedure. I’m grateful for the call to check up on me and giving me the opportunity to ask any questions… There’s nothing bad in my thoughts to say….any whoo I must say if I can give a 100x I would🥰🥰

Hands down...The BEST place to have surgery, inpatient or outpatient!!! Every single employee from Security and the front desk, pre op nurses, surgery intake staff, OR nurses, anesthesia, to recovery and discharge nurses...every single person was incredible. All three of my procedures were outpatient, but my StepMom had 2 separate total knees as an inpatient and I stayed with her as her advocate...first time I ever felt the patient didn't need me because the care on the floor was also second to none!!! This is my second surgery, this one was my first over night. The staff from front desk,to recovery , to my room were so awesome. They were very attentive and checked on my constantly. They never rushed and would answer all of million questions. I would recommend Avala to everyone. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

All I can say is the nursing staff that took care of me was phenomenal and fantastic! This is the most professional run hospital I've ever been in life. And my doctor was fantastic too. I appreciate all the care they gave to me , they were there for me at a seconds notice. I can't thank you enough!

I would recommend this surgery hospital to everyone I know. My experience was amazing! From the pre op visit a week before my surgery, to my admittance and operation prep nurse was amazing and so was the post op/recovery nurse. The surgery seems to have gone great as 3 days post op I am already able to use my leg after an orthoscopic knee surgery. The surgeon Dr. Rudd was great! Put me at ease before the surgery, explained what he would be doing and how long it would take. Gave me peace everything would be fine. I could not have asked for a better experience.

My husband had eye surgery there last week. All of the doctors and nurses were great, they explained everything that needed to be done before they did it, which made my husband feel more comfortable. Will definitely close this hospital again.

My experience at Abuela was amazing! This procedure was very scary at first and the staff and team assured me of every step in every process that will take place. The high tech, and experienced equipment that they use at this location in Covington assured me over a 97% rate of accuracy and Efficiency. The staff treated me and my family as if we were their family. I wouldn’t want to have a procedure anywhere else!

Physicians, staff and facility are excellent. Diagnosis was spot on! I was scheduled for a neck procedure in a timely manner, had the procedure, and felt GREAT the next day. They had me back to work sooner then I expected. I would highly recommend Avala with issues concerning the neck.

Everyone was wonderful! Dr. Darr and his pre-op prayer with me was special! Torrie Guthrie RN(preop) was wonderful, her IV insertion was painless. Communication was thorough with all staff, my wife and me. Alanna ?last name? Post-op was awesome as well. 5 star treatment!!!

This was the best experience I’ve had for one of my surgeries. From the front lobby staff to the nurses that cared for me were great. I would return to the AVALA hospital if the need arises for another surgery. Example, I cannot see the hole in my skin where my IV was placed, that’s great. I mention this because, more than 6 months ago this happened to my husband at another facility. He now has a black spot the size of a quarter where his IV was placed, and then pulled, pushed and blown by a nurse, then left in his arm to swell up, the next day it was shown to another nurse that had to replace it. It was important to me to not be injured like that.

I cant believe how wonderful Avala is. On top of being a beautiful facility, every person you encounter is so so nice. I love the fact that I met every professional that took care of me before my surgery. Treated me as if I was the only patient in the house. I will be telling anyone and everyone that if it is possible,go to Avala. You kinda dont want to leave.

Overwhelmed by how organized and caring by all involved with my recent stay at Avala Hospital. I had the pleasure of using Dr.Terral for my hand surgery. He was so professional and knowledgeable with his diagnosis. I have never felt such compassion by everyone on staff. The nurses and doctors go beyond. I will definitely recommend Avala to anyone who's looking for a compassionate health care facility. I would also like to thank all of the recovery nurses who helped me feel so comfortable. Once I got to my room after surgery, I received excellent care. However as I waited for surgery that morning, the nurses never showed up. They had a mishap and forgot me. It was not discovered until they were ready to take me for surgery. At that point, three nurses rushed in and got me ready. This was way too fast for my comfort. Unfortunate all the way around.

Everyone so friendly makes you feel comfortable like at home after recovery in room. And what can I say about Dr. Devraj. Trust love him fantastic surgeon.

Professional safe place to have carpel tunnel surgery. The friendly staff were caring, funny and available for any question. I felt comfortable with all steps explained to me along the way.

Avala is a wonderful place to have procedures done. I would recommend this facility to everyone. Personnel treat you with respect. Receptionist nurses and doctors are very professional and do a excellent job taking care of their patients.

Wow!! The entire staff from Pre-Op to the day of surgery were absolutely wonderful. They took their time and explained everything before each task. All took great care of me along with my husband. I felt like I was their only patient. Thank you all for taking great care of me along with respecting my fears making me feel comfortable and less nervous .

It was great visit for me! Place was clean, check in was fast and easy. Everyone was super friendly! My nurse Kayla was sweet, attentive to all my needs. Very professional.

stay was very comfortable. The nurses were exceptional. The food was very good. The only complaint was the bed for guest is very uncomfortable. I would recommend this hospital very highly.

This was absolutely, bar none, the best hospital experience I have ever had. Every person I had contact with was professional, kind, patient and caring. The medical care was top notch. The food was delicious. Just a pleasant experience all the way around. I had a hip replacement at 75 years old. I would give them 10 stars if possible. I pray if I have to have anything else done, I can go here.

Very pleasant experience! Staff was attentive, informative, helpful and I was left with very little if any questions that went unanswered during my brief stay! Would highly recommend AVALA under the circumstances and much prefer this experience to a larger hospital with an overload of patients and staff!

My preop nurse Devin was awesome! so calm and kind. She knew how nervous I was to have surgery and she was able to calm and relax me. She took her time. Didn’t rush and even laughed with me. Chad rocked the whole anesthesia thing. Amy was my PACU nurse. She again was awesome! She took her time and again let me take things at my own pace. She was extremely supportive the entire time.
