My
mom
was
brought
in
on
an
ambulance
for
unconsciousness
twice.
She
arrived
around
5:30pm,
because
of
traffic
I
got
to
the
hospital
at
7pm.
I
was
met
with
Mikki
at
the
front
desk.
She
told
me
my
mother
was
still
on
the
EMS
stretcher
in
the
back
and
had
19
people
waiting
to
be
seen.
I
told
her
that
my
mom
has
an
advanced
condition
to
were
she
won’t
be
able
to
communicate
well
,
etc.
She
told
me
to
take
a
seat.
I
waiting
about
30
minutes
approached
the
desk
and
stated,
that
my
moms
been
in
the
back
for
a
little
over
two
hours,
are
you
saying
that
she
is
still
with
EMS
on
the
stretcher,
that
I
should
be
able
to
at
least
see
her
given
I’m
her
legal
representative
and
to
register
her
etc,
she
said
she
was
registered.
I
stated
that
she
isn’t
of
sound
mind
to
sign
anything
so
I
want
to
make
sure
I
can
do
those
necessary
things.
She
then
got
frustrated
picked
up
the
phone
and
stated
“just
go
back”
as
I
was
walking
to
the
ER
door,
she
started
making
rude
and
unprofessional
comments
to
me.
I
stated
“that
is
completely
rude,
disrespectful
and
I
will
be
reporting
this”,
she
got
up
out
of
her
seat
angrily
and
stated
I’m
going
with
you
to
report
it.
She
then
started
speaking
hastily
to
a
charge
nurse
Christie,
who
then
started
yelling
at
me
stating
she
just
came
on,
was
busy
and
overwhelmed
and
I
can
just
go
back
and
sit
in
the
ER
waiting
room.
I
am
not
only
taken
back
by
this
behavior.
This
is
not
a
way
to
treat
family
members
with
medical
emergencies.
This
is
one
of
very
many
times
that
we
have
been
to
this
ER
as
my
moms
doctors
are
affiliated
with
WJ.
We
have
never
been
treated
with
such
disrespect
which
violates
the
patients
rights
and
responsibilities.
I
understand
that
their
very
busy,
and
that’s
okay
but
the
lack
of
respect
is
intolerable
and
saddening.
My
mom
was
unconscious
twice
today
and
it
was
very
emotional
and
worrisome.
We
are
now
in
an
ER
treatment
room
and
absolutely
very
happy
and
satisfied
with
our
nurse
Jordan
who
is
very
compassionate
and
caring,
who
recognized
us
as
well
from
a
previous
visit.
We
really
like
West
Jefferson
and
happy
with
all
our
specialty
physicians,
nurses
and
care
team
members
who
are
all
true
professionals.
My
only
other
concern
is
that
staff
seem
very
overworked
with
many
cases
and
in
return
a
lack
of
compassion.
The
charge
nurse
Christie
was
non-apologetic
and
she
never
gave
me
an
opportunity
to
tell
her
about
how
I
felt
disrespected
by
Mikki,
this
made
me
taken
back
and
I
felt
very
mistreated,
her
manner
and
tone
shocked
me,
she
reprimanded
me
for
something
that
could
of
easily
been
resolved.
The
wait
times
are
normally
4
hours
to
be
seen
as
they
remain
really
busy.
