I
tried
to
support
a
local
business
service
after
years
of
going
to
Metairie
and
New
Orleans
for
haircuts.
I
heard
that
Traci
Woodard
Salon
had
a
good
reputation,
called
and
made
an
appointment
with
Brennan
for
last
Thursday
afternoon
at
3:00
pm.
At
about
2:15
pm
that
day,
I
received
a
call
with
a
request
to
push
the
appointment
back
to
3:30
pm
because
Brennan
was
"running
late."
I
agreed
and
arrived
a
few
minutes
before
that
time.
At
roughly
3:50
pm,
Brennan
was
ready
for
me
with
the
explanation
that
the
previous
client
had
requested
"additional
services."
Brennan
and
I
discussed
how
I
wanted
my
hair
done
and
she
proceeded.
I
was
a
little
surprised
that
she
didn't
shampoo
my
hair
but
merely
sprayed
it
with
water.
I
told
her
that
I
wasn't
that
concerned
if
she
cut
it
"a
little
short
because
it
would
grow
back."
When
she
finished,
I
mentioned
that
the
back
looked
a
little
long
and
I
was
"too
old
for
a
mullet."
She
told
me
that
in
her
opinion,
it
looked
good,
and
directed
me
to
the
receptionist
to
pay
which
I
did
(with
a
20%
tip).
That
night
I
asked
my
wife
what
she
thought
of
my
new
haircut.
She
commented
that
it
was
fine
but
looked
like
a
mullet
in
the
back.
She
suggested
that
I
go
back
and
get
it
trimmed.
Due
to
my
schedule
on
Saturday
and
the
salon's
on
Sunday
and
Monday,
I
couldn't
call
until
early
afternoon
on
Tuesday.
I
explained
to
the
receptionist
that
I
needed
the
rear
trimmed
and
would
like
to
see
Brennan
when
she
had
"5
to
10
minutes
to
trim
the
back."
She
asked
me
to
hold
while
she
checked
with
Brennan.
Roughly
5
minutes
later,
she
came
back
on
the
phone
and
stated
that
Brennan
was
busy
all
afternoon.
I
asked
her
if
she
could
see
me
another
day
later
in
the
week
and
she
immediately
responded
with
"no,
she's
booked
all
week
and
on
vacation
next
week."
I
said
"really?
She
doesn't
have
5
to
10
minutes
to
fix
my
problem?"
She
again
responded
negatively
and
I
told
her
I
would
go
somewhere
else
to
remedy
the
situation.
Very
sad
statement
about
customer
service.
I've
mentioned
this
incident
to
a
number
of
my
friends,
both
female
and
male,
and
the
unanimous
response
is
disbelief.
Obviously,
I
will
never
return
nor
recommend
this
salon
to
anyone.
