Can't speak to the care, was never serviced. Made an appt. for the afternoon. I was called and told to come two hours early because there were no patients, and they were going to close the office early. I dropped everything and went over there. When I arrived, I was told quite a few patients had arrived in the meantime and I would now have to wait. After waiting an hour, I was told there were still several patients ahead of me. Needless to say, I left and went to another location. I understand having to wait, but the office called -me- and told me to come early. Then, I was told basically I would have to wait until my original appointment time. Very unprofessional.

My wife went to clinic after a fall and extreme pain in her back and short breathing. was x-rayed, seen by a "doctor" and told to go home and take two OTC painkillers. Went to another appointment the next day on another ailment. relayed experience of previous day. Doctor asked was breathing still shallow, answer, yes. Doctor said "I cannot see you until you go through the emergency room" Emergency room found crushed vertebrae, T8, applied a flexible cast and prescribed opiate painkillers. Made an appointment with a neurosurgeon. Subsequent operation filled crushed vertebrae with cement and that was the end of incident. If she had not seen the other Doctor she would be home taking OTC painkillers. ON ANOTHER INCIDENT MY grandaughter turned her ankle and the school nurse recommended OUC. She presented her Medicaid card and was told in a VERY insulting manner "We don't take those here". My wife paid with a credit card. Later a man came in with an appointment. Ms. surley told him he did not have an appointment. The man insisted and said he had an e-mail confirmation. Ms. surley called a "guard" who proceed to berate the man at the top of his lungs within hearing of all in the lobby. This site has problems with the Medical staff and the non Medical staff. It is a poor reflection on Ochsner. I knew the original Dr. Ochsner and he would not have wanted this facility associated with his name. We will NEVER go there again.

I came here specifically because I was told I could get tested for meningitis in the facility. The person said yes on the phone and they do not. Do not go here based on anything that needs testing because you can’t trust their answer. So mad. I’ve been chronically ill for a couple years, and I’ve wasted so much money on con artist facilities. I feel like my eyes are bleeding chronically, intense head pain from head trauma due to a seizure and have neuropathy issues, and I was given a handout on what a headache is and caffeine pills. What a joke. Where are the good doctors?

Believe it or not, I had an appointment last Thursday for 2pm and was out the door by 2:55pm. I was greeted with a genuine smile by the woman at the front desk. Every patient that came in after me was treated just the same. The medical assistant was courteous and treated me with respect. The attending doctor was just as nice and was very thorough with her discharge instructions for my upper respiratory infection. I was absolutely blown away with the level professionalism and kindness from the moment I walked through the door all the way back out. If you’re in need of an urgent care center, this is the one you want to drive out of your way for. Great job, Ochsner!

Cut my leg open and thought I needed stitches. Dropped by to get it looked at. Got seen really quickly, within 10 got into a room. Karen got my history and vitals and such, she was very pleasant. Then a nurse practitioner Shannon came in and checked it out, and stitched me up. Everyone who I dealt with here did a great job, super professional and really friendly. They all deserve raises. I'm going to try not to cut my leg open again but if I do I'll definitely come here!

My mother and I had a great experience with this Urgent can, needing fast results and treatment. They set up an apt when we got there so we wouldn't have to wait, came back and was treated like clock work. The Staff, Nurse Pa,Dr MD listened , reviewed and treated our medical issues, so we could feel safe to meet our new baby that was just born in our family. A friendly caring Group. Thank you.

The Doctor was great, nurses were great people checking in we very nice, only problem I had was the 3 hour wait to see anyone and the extremely small parking lot. Was told if I did not return quickly my appointment would be given away so we waited in the car. Had to wait outside in a line just to check in. I do understand Covid is bad and urgent care is extremely busy. Our usual urgent care in River Ridge is temporarily closed and has been for over a month. We need more Urgent Cares in our area!

HORRIBLE! I made an appointment using the Ochsner app 12 hours in advance only to arrive and be told that that wasn’t an appointment at all. I was then told that I would be placed in the line at the time that I arrived and have a 3.5 hour wait time. The employee told me that it’s a common mistake and that the app only lets you precheck. What?!? Just drove down the street to LCMC and was seen in 5 minutes. I will never use Ochsner again and will be switching my health services to LCMC.

They don’t take Medicaid which is a big inconvenience for most people who don’t have the funds to pay out of pocket.
