Nice, cute theater. Snacks and drinks during intermission were a nice touch, with either water, wine, or punch. Saw a Saturday evening performance, acting was uneven, which is probably normal for community theater.

Always a fun event at SBCT but this one was amazing.....held on Sept. 11, the play was taken from a true story of a firefighter and a writer who met to write eulogies on the 13 lost firefighters from his unit on 9/11. SBCT invited first responders to the play and had a lovely chili-sampling event with trimmings and drinks. It was a poignant play and a reminder of how that day changed all our histories.

Four of us went to see "SPAMALOT". Great sold out crowd. Not a weak cast member in the production. We laughed loudly. I've always loved comedies and this did not disappoint. We will be back.

Saw The Odd Couple (female version) last night. It was a great show at a good price. Seats were comfortable and venue was a nice size (not too large). We look forward to going again.

My wife and I indulged in a date night and enjoyed every minute of it. We started the evening at The Sloop, right around the corner from the South Baldwin Community Theatre, for a delicious dinner with friends. We then made the quick walk to Big Beach Brewery for some pre-play libations, after which we ventured to the Theatre for their spooky season play, POE. It's probably been since high school that we actively read anything Edgar Allen Poe, so the play brought back memories and spurred discussion for most of the drive home. Everything about our time spent in this community theatre was fun and engaging. The volunteers and organizers out-did themselves with the theatre dΓ©cor, intermission snacks, and hospitality. The play itself was fun and energetic with strong actors and actresses giving great performances. Makeup and costumes were noticeable and elevated the production. The show captured the essence(s) of the stories and made for a very enjoyable evening. We plan to return for future productions!
