I like Philly Me Up. I enjoy going there and grabbing my lunch. But, I don’t like being forgotten about for 10 minutes and being left holding. While I can hear orders not being taken and then coming back to take others orders.

Definitely one of the best Phillies in the area! I had The Cajun with fries. It had grilled steak, grilled onions, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, Chipotle mayo, and Tony Chachere's. All the flavors came together perfectly. Voodoo is next up on the list!!

I love Philly Me Up food but I’ll never eat here again. I usually call my order in and pick it up. This day I called literally 30 times and they didn’t answer. Once I finally got an answer, the cashier put me on hold for 10 minutes and then just hangs the phone up. The worst part is as I wait on my 7 Phillys, I noticed the cashier handling food after she handled money several times. Not only that, the same cashier scratches her head with the gloves on, she rubs her nose several times with the gloves on and go right back to putting bread in the toaster without ever washing her hands. I asked them not to toast my bread because between her touching money, scratching her head and cleaning her nose with her hands and right back to toasting bread without washing her hands is a nooooo for me.

This was my first time trying this establishment. I have had friends talk of how good it was. The day I went must have been an off day. There were lots of people there waiting for food at lunch time. The staff was nice, but they were busy. I ordered the cheese steak hoagie deal. I was not impressed. The meat had no n taste to it. I barely tasted onions on it. My bread was soaked. The fries were soggy and not crisp at all. I would definitely NOT recommend this place.

Bought two cheese steaks and one kids meal for over 30. The kids meal was overpriced. One sandwich had a ton of stuff in it and one was lacking. Flavor was good on sandwich but fries were not fresh and miniscule in portion. Flavor is only 1/4 of the dining experience. What would have taken this to a 4 star was cheaper prices and larger portions. To get to five they would have to home slice their fries. Great service gives a star. Good flavor gets a star. Timely, kind and clean service gets a star. Value was lacking. Serving size was lacking. If you love cheese steaks give it a go. But don't get the fries. Lol

Parking lot is small so spaces are limited. We went at 12pm and it was fairly busy. From taking our order at the register and waiting was probably less than 10 minutes. The dining area is small too. Customer service was great. They have a lot of variety in terms of the different cheesesteak sandwiches and wraps that they offered. I got the one with the mushrooms and it was pretty good. Wish the portions were a bit bigger and it was loaded with more cheese. A lot of the steak in mine was a bit charred but I didn’t mind. Onions rings were large and deliciously fried!

I love this place. I wish they were open later but it’s probably a blessing they’re not, ha! The bread, the ingredients, the fries! It’s all good and fresh and delicious. You should eat here. If you find anything to complain about, you’re probably having a bad day.

Best eatery period! I’ve eating there about 5or 6 years give or take. I tried the, voo doo and have never cared to try another sandwich. The employees are awesome and the phillys are out of this world. Can’t give enough credit. I recommend it !! Steak and cheese fries. Don’t forget those! Forgive me if I get his name wrong. He’s been there forever. If you get lucky enough for him to make it, you in for a treat. I believe his name is Jeff. Every cook is awesome but Jeff is the s*^•. Only blonde headed fella in there. Like I said. All employees are A+

Philly Me Up has the best cheesesteaks I have ever had. Granted, I have never been to Philly. However, I have tried many cheesesteaks and theirs have been my favorite. I especially love the Cajun, and the Santa Fe is quite good as well. You may wait a little bit be ause everything is made to order, and they can get quite busy at lunch. But trust me, it's worth it. I usually order for pick up, because they are crazy hot, and so it stays hot while I drive back to work. Also keeps me from having to wait much.

This has been my favorite philly cheese steak place since I tried it in 2005. On average I probably eat here once a week. The food is great. Everyone working there is always pleasant to deal with. The owners are great people. I recommend this place to everyone and look forward to eating here for many years to come.

They have so many sandwich options. Some seem pretty off the wall. Every thing has been good. You may have to wait a little bit for your food, but they make it fresh, and your sandwich will be lava hot when you get it. The fries are meh. The place is small and fills up fast for lunch, and they almost always have a line of people getting to go orders. I have seen people complain about their eyes burning from the oinions cooking. Small price to pay for the best Philly in town.

My wife and I went to Philly me up yesterday and got the Cajun Philly and that sandwich was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try more stuff. The cheese fries were awesomely delicious also. This place is in the list of my top 10 favorite places to eat. I will be back.

I have been visiting Philly Me Up since they first opened and have raved about them to everyone I come in contact with. However after COVID something has changed. The meat doesn't seem the same. It's chunkier and tougher than before. The portion size of the meat is much smaller and the food is not seasoned well at all anymore. I noticed they have a new cooking crew that may not season the food like before but I was very disappointed on my last few visits. I don't think I will be visiting again. I'm not happy at all because this was my favorite spot to eat.

Easily the best chicken cheese steak I've ever had. Delicious, fresh, cooked right in front of you, and not extremely over priced like alot of PO-boy places. I'd eat her everyday if I could. Only downfall is they close very early most days, & weekends.

I can not give this place enough stars. I honestly don’t know how there is not a line out the door. The staff was amazingly friendly. The food it’s self was a real cheesesteak. Being from SoCal I frequented Boos in Los Angeles. This is the closest I’ve found since living in Louisiana. Half the places don’t have the right bread or even cheese wiz. Philly me up has both! I can’t overstate how perfectly cooked this cheesesteak was. In addition to the cheesesteak. The beer batter onion rings. Omg they were great. Nice and thick onions, not that weak stringy stuff other places have. 100 out of 10 and will absolutely be coming here regularly.

Fill me up has the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had. I got the classic Philly cheesesteak and I got the Cajun Philly cheesesteak. They were both amazing.

This is an excellent clean efficient sandwich shop featuring Philly Steak Subs. If you want one of the best Cheese Steak Subs this is a must. Truly nice friendly service, although they all work efficiently and little time for chatter. I witnessed all 5 behind the counter working as a team and well oiled machine. Best of all is the quality of their sandwiches.....an array of choices you can add to subway.all grilled right in front of you....love it!

Being from NY, I love a good cheesesteak. Heard about this place and it is tucked into a corner by the highway, so getting there can be fun. But it is well worth it. All types of Cheesesteaks, and more. The bread is especially awesome, soft, just like a real one. The food is cooked fresh for you, you can even watch them cook it. The Cheesesteak was moist and I had the BBQ, which was sweet. The fries were real potatoes and cooked perfect. This is about as close as you are going to get to a Philly Cheesesteak in Baton Rouge.

So I was trying to place a 4 person order. Needing to pay seperate. We were told that more than 2 transactions holds up the line.... 1 call with 4 transaction or 4 seperate calls with 4 transaction? Make it make sense. I do believe that holding up the line is not the reason... I will never order from a company that doesn't want the business or money... their loss. I hope your policy changes and I will give them our business. I love to refer people to good places but after this experience. This isn't a place I would refer.

My husband Steve and I are from Ohio and we come to Baton Rouge once or twice a year. We always make it a point to stop in at Philly Me Up for lunch and to say hello to, Josh, the owner. They have a wonderful menu to choose from but we especially LOVE their South Carolina Wrap. They have never disappointed us.

The man and woman at the front on 3.13.23 were nice and helpful. We really enjoyed everything we got and literally the only area I think they could improve on is slightly less pepper in the beef. It was a nice little lunch place and the staff kept it clean and were attentive while we ate. Fair price for the amount of food you get. I got a small and we shared sides, and we left full and happy!

Great Philly in Baton Rouge! Juicy and delicious. Lots of cheese! I got a surf and turf and the shrimp were big! Fries were not good… no salt or seasoning. Will be back!

Moved to Baton Rouge from Newark NJ and have been to Philadelphia PA many a time and enjoyed many a cheesesteaks. This place has GREAT sandwiches on SPECTACULAR bread! I got the classic cheesesteak- grilled onions and white American cheese and an order of onion rings. Truly delicious!

5 Stars from me!! I'd say their sandwiches are "DRIPPY GOOD"!!! What makes a sandwich good or not, for me, starts with their rolls and these rolls are TOP NOTCH!!! I was told they are authentic Philly cheesesteak rolls directly from Philly!! I'm sure some people think I use way too many exclamation points but this place deserves every one. It took 23 minutes to get our cheesesteaks, which I don't think is too long especially because of the quality of the food. The meat was seasoned perfectly and there was plenty of it. (I'd pay extra for double meat, hint hint. Lol) They don't have a huge selection of sandwiches but, honestly, I don't think they need to. You WON'T be disappointed with whatever you choose, regular cheesesteak, chicken cheesesteak, or, if you like lettuce, tomatoes & mayo they serve a hoagie cheesesteak as well. My wife got the chicken and said it was just as amazing as their regular cheesesteak. With onions, sweet peppers, hot peppers, banana peppers, and several different kinds of cheeses to accent this already amazing sandwich you can't go wrong. Please support our local small businesses especially this one. Tell them the Google review food critic guy sent you. Lots of drooling love to Philly Me Up Food Truck!!! From Your Google review food critic guy 🥰❤

They where out of some menu items but what I did order was amazing. The cashier was a little slow don't now if she can hear well or just ignore people until she's ready. The other team members were spot on. I definitely recommend trying this place it's pretty good and the staff is friendly👍🏽
