I don’t do reviews, but I HAD to for this pizza I just had from Avellino. I’m visiting a friend on the WestBank Andy favorite pizza places are in the city, so when we decided to order pizza, my expectations were low. After reading a few reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the Philly Steak Pizza via DoorDash. When the pizza arrived, the smell was exciting. It smelled like a delicious pizza. When I toook my first bite, I was amazed, stunned and so very happy that I have now found my new favorite pizza place. THANK YOU, AVELLINO for this beautiful pizza!!!

Best pizza on the Westbank. Their side dishes though, like the wings & the burger, were delicious at one point, now they're rather meh.

The Supreme Pizza is Amazing. Taste fresh veggies and soft fresh cheese, crust on perfect point. Best in westbank will be back.

We just happened to see this place and tried it. First impression, it is not a high end dining restaurant. We were not sure what to expect but we were very happy and have told our family and friends about it. We got Philly cheese steak and Alfredo chicken pizza. Price for pizza was really good! And really cheesy! The lady there made everything fresh! The crust was really soft and moist. We were 2 adults and 2 children (under 5 yrs old) and ordered medium philly cheese steak and small Alfredo chicken pizza. The lady who was there was working very hard and getting orders in an out. Really impressive. She was really friendly as well. If you are looking for halal pizza or just really good pizza, go here! You won't regret it! Close to some hotels in that area as well!

Amazing!!! Was in town for a bit and decided to look for some pizza. Locals said it was good and they werent lying. Gotta XL meat lovers pizza and a Steak and Chz sandwich. Both were the bomb!!! Gotta give this place a try whether you're in town for a bit or you live here. Like 10-15 per person unless youre a child

The location made us raise an eyebrow. It's in an almost abandoned plaza, empty parking lot. We walked in and wasn't sure if we'd stay, it was smaller than expected (only had 2 1/2 booths) and a little discerning. We decided to stay and order anyway. OMG! From the first bite! It was delicious, thin crispy crust, we asked for it to be stuffed crust and she said they could (which wasnt needed). I've never seen so much cheese on anything my whole life! The gooey melt cheese, just amazing! Fresh ingredients as well! I got a medium veggie pizza, my friend got a large meat lovers. Worth every penny and will be a return customer!!! 110% recommend!

Absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in town for a bit. Had a feeling this was going to be the best pizza I’ve ever had, and the kind lady (who I assume is the owner), proved me right! Split the bbq chicken pizza with my teammate, he was just as enamored with it as I was. Clean, customer friendly, and not lacking in variety of options (including vegetarian) either, this place should be on your NOLA food place list! Also halal too.

Great pizza and they have a good burger You must try the Zara pie it’s so yummy

The gyro combo was so good and delicious and filling and at a good price. The service was courteous and very friendly. Also my small black olive and sausage pizza was very tasty indeed. I highly recommend Avellino!

You must be sleep if youre not going to Avellino Pizza. Time you woke up and did the right thing. Im not going to tell you its the best but it is very good. Ive watched the owner make the pizza dough from scratch. It is as fresh as you can hope for these days. The pizza, wings, fries, and burgers are without doubt top tier food. I cant speak to the rest of the menu, but if you expect it will all be great youre delusional. No restaurant is perfect. Everyone has a few hits and a couple misses. Avellino hits more than misses. Give it a try.

In town from the northeast, with a craving for food from home. Found this place by the reviews and I’m so happy I did. Just wanted a low-key pizza place style sit down to relax. The food was great, the owners are great, and the prices matched. A true hidden-treasure that shouldn’t be overlooked.

The best meat lovers pizza I've ever had, and that was a surprise to me. As a matter of fact, I didn't miss the pork at all. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. There's a nice old lady in the front, and if you choose to dine in, it feels like sitting at grandma's house. The crust is perfectly crispy, there's just enough sauce, the meats are delicious, and the prices aren't bad. I do wish they had a drink fountain. I'd make a trip back out to Louisiana for this pizza place alone.

Omg! This was the best meat lovers pizza everrr! Can't believe I slept on this place for so long , I didn't know I had a good pizza spot that close to my house !!! The wings were also delicious ! Don't second guess yourself ! Go ahead and order from them !

That Cajun Shrimp pizza was EVERYTHING. No heartburn.. 1st time having pizza made with olive oil as the sauce!! Loved it.. will be back soon ❤

Got the Spaghetti and meatballs and a cheeseburger and fries last night. It was very good and the lady there was very sweet. Next time I visit New Orleans I’ll be sure to come visit Avellinos!
