I have to say I was pleasantly surprised here at Jack's. If I'm being honest I didn't expect much for Mississippi sushi by the railroad tracks but it was great. I had the Black Pearl and also a shrimp taco. Pretty tasty. I think with just a little bit more refinement it could be absolutely amazing. I will definitely come back on one of the live music nights and check it out. Looks like a cool place.

Go, just go. Great service and awesome food. The shrimp and grits were some of the best I've ever had. Crayfish balls are a must try. Sushi was fresh and delicious.

Jack's by the Tracks is a local juke joint kinda place. It reminds me of an old southern 'shotgun style' home and is quite cozy with local pictures and art from the Gulf Coast region. They serve a variety of sushi, sandwiches, and other signature dishes that are unique to the coast and the establishment. They have a very well stocked bar, draft beer taps (even GUINNESS which is one of my favorites), free live bands (Fat Boy Squeeze this particular evening), and a sushi bar. My experience has been excellent everytime I have had a solid or liquid dinner here. Lots of locals frequent this establishment and they are typically fairly busy in the evenings so be certain to join in the fun early.

Delicious Everytime!!! The staff was very welcoming and it was not to busy either. They have a great beer selection on tap and your classic spirit selections. They have live music on the weekends and is a cozy place. Definitely worth a visit and will be back again.

Wow, the food here is AMAZING! I got the Pascagoula run and the big bayou sushi, both were delicious! The waitress was very friendly and did a great job! I'll definitely be back!!

I really wish I could rank this 4.5 stars. The food is excellent and there are some creative menu choices. Their sushi is not the typical selection but instead some pretty unique options (for example one roll, made with crawfish, is called the Awesome Crawsome). Excellent house salad. It's a bit on the pricey side. I typically get out for about $30-35 per person with an entree and a drink. I personally don't care for the dark interior with no natural light but their big draw is live music, which they excel at. If I were a big music fan I would definitely give them 5 stars. Overall, I highly recommend them.

The food was great, you get a lot for your money's worth! Service was kinda slow when I went but I was also told that there were a lot of orders backed up at that time. As for the atmosphere, it was very bar like, very loud and just people sitting/standing at a bar. But that is mostly from me being an introvert and not very outgoing so take the 3 stars with a grain of salt lol.

The shrimp and grits aren’t the traditional classic recipe but that’s okay as they are the best I’ve ever had! This is what I order every single time I eat at Jack’s. My daughters really like the sushi and my soul really likes the music, but my tongue & tummy will stick with the shrimp and grits.

First off, Shrimp po-boy was excellent, should have come with a side other than Zaps for the price though. Sushi was very small, about the size of a California roll. Overall, the menu is overpriced for the amount of food you receive.

Fantastic foodie food. Crawfish balls are addictive. Insanely tasty. Good but small beer selection. Fabulous music.

I went at 5p on a Tuesday Not much happening But it seems like it could be vibrant little dive Time-worn floors Rock music Several biggish TVs I had The Pascagoula Run sushi food thing It was very good!

Very good food! I got the spicy shrimp tacos “pumped up” which means they add feta, avocado and bacon. Was so good. Also had the crawfish balls. Good size appetizer with a bit of a kick. Service was great too. Primarily it’s sushi and seafood. There are a few menu items such as roast beef poboys and fried bologna sandwich and a house salad for those that don’t like seafood. No side dishes served or available to order, only apps and mains at the time of this post. They are undergoing a remodel which is great. Ambience is a little dark due to the entire inside, walls and ceiling are black. Food and service overrides that though! Just fyi. Live music and great cocktails. Also plenty of parking and you can walk right across the road and be in the heart of Pascagoulas nightlife and only about 3-5 miles at most to the beach.

A+++++++ This is the 2nd week in a row I've gone. Both times I ordered the jackimo sushi & crawfish balls. It was amazing. My new favorite casual restaurant. Great service!!!!

Way overpriced! $7 for a 12oz draft beer. The tuna was not fresh and and the taco's tasted decent but are very unfulfilling for the price! Waitress was friendly and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1.

Went for lunch with my husband. It's definitely a twist on sushi, not bad but hard to explain. We got the shrimp n grits, the jackimo roll, and a fish taco. Everything was good. The service was AMAZING! That's the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 3. There was A LOT of shrimp in the shrimp n grits so that's super filling. The fish taco was ... Okay, not bad. The jackimo roll was good, but ... I think it was a lot of cream or something. I'm not sure what threw me off about the roll, but something did. The inside of the restaurant was adorable, and I'd love to go for happy hour or when there's live music.

Ok, it’s a little pricey but, I took my 3 kids to eat dinner. The waitress was unbelievably nice, like to the point my kids thought I knew her. Food was really good too. Can’t remember what all we had but my kids had a great time. I wish I remembered our servers name so I could give a shot out to her.

Great place with great people. The food here is really tasty and a bit different from your typical dive bar cuisine. They really have a lot going for them as far as the servers and the kitchen staff. Solid bunch of folks and they are consistent with service and food.

Service was good. Food was so-so. Crawfish Sushi, not every piece had crawfish in it lol. Tiramisu was good but I don’t think too fresh. I probably won’t go back.
