Came to Royal Gold Buyer today to sell some old jewelry and a an old Louis Vuitton bag. The owner’s name is Raj. His wife evaluated my bag and gave me a good price for it. Raj evaluated all my gold jewelry and explained the whole process to me and my husband because we did not know how it is valued. After giving me what seemed to be a good price, I told Raj I wanted to get another opinion. He said very pleasantly for me to go and I would not get a higher price. But he said I should go to see for myself. Well, we did. What a horrible, disgusting experience! The other place was a sneaky and low class operation. We walked out and returned to Raj. If you want to sell your old jewelry, look no further. This is an honest operation with great people working there. Raj is so incredibly nice and he’s a class act. Your whole experience will be amazing!

I submitted an online request for more info and a quote, listing out exactly which brands and models of watches i had. I brought in 5 watches all worth well over $300 each on the resale market after they called me and told me to come in. Offered me $120 total since they weren't "high end." When I asked why he even told me to come in then, the guy behind the counter (bald guy) gave me 0 reply. They get a star because the gave me a pity dollar to cover my parking costs.

A few months ago, I brought panned placer fine and nugget gold to sell at Royal Gold Buyer. The owner who was very nice looked at my gold and tested it, weighed it and gave me the weight in "penneyweighta". I asked if he could convert it into grams, which I used to weigh my gold at home. He told me he only uses penneyweight and could not. I reluctantly accepted his offer which was much less than I expected based on per gram value. He also told me he had to 'CLEAN IT, AND MELT IT", which costs him money. My gold was between 22k and 23k. Pure gold is 24k, I went online and got an answer to the following question. "Why do gold buyers use pennyweight?" Answer: "One Pennyweight is less than one gram of gold. By quoting a price in pennyweight, a buyer can make you think you're getting a good price for your precious metals, when you're not. DISHONEST BUYERS USE PENNYWEIGHT AS A TRICK TO ATTEMPT TO SCAM YOU. Many scrap gold buyers use pennyweightf" SELLER BEWARE!!!!!!!!
