Passed by this place a few times, saw the 4.9 rating and had to read the low ones. LOVED the responses and we made sure to block a day just to visit this place. If all you know is Judy Garland for The Wizard of Oz, you would not appreciate this hidden Ruby or Emerald! If you know Return to Oz or any of the many books that came before the movies, then you are in for a delightful treat! The Immersive experience is a nice end to walking through this slice of history. Go in with an open mind, and you will not be disappointed.

I did not really know what to expect out of it when we arrived. They had us watch a quick video explaining what the museum had to offer. I was intrigued and purchased tickets. I was amazed by how much I didn't know about the world of Oz. There was so much written prior to the movie that everyone has come to love. There were multiple authors that continued the land of Oz stories after Frank Baum passed. The museum is so informative, and after viewing all the memorabilia, there is an interactive viewing room with 360⁰ video in it. We loved our time there and left pleased with our visit. The admission fee, I did feel was a bit overpriced, yet this is a one of a kind place.

What a wonderful way to spend an hour while visiting Cocoa Beach! The memorabilia and stories were so interesting, and the collection extensive. The kids scavenger hunt was engaging and fun. The immersive room experience was beautiful and we danced on the yellow brick road. Thanks for this great experience!

Wow! What a great day trip. We came over from Leesburg. We'll worth the trip. We will be back with friends again. You can see Dorothy's dress, the monkeys staff, a 3D yellow brick road and so much more. Book enthusiasts will love to see and hear about the big collection of first print Frank Baum books. What a storyline! Kids even have a scavenger hunt! Technology, books, memorabilia, collectibles and so much more@ Great rainy day place to hang out when vacationing in Coco Beach, Port Canaveral and more!

So amazing! The immersive room is the nicest one I've ever seen. Relaxing and absolutely breathtaking. Great dolls and memorabilia. It's a terrific brief (about an hour or less) stop for people of all ages! Don't let the strip mall location keep you from going in!

We're off to see the Wizard of Oz Museum and what a wonderful museum it was! Exceeded our expectations. I came with my mother and young daughter and we had a blast! So much to look at and such friendly, knowledgeable staff. The immersive room aptly named, we were thoroughly entertained. Excellent way to spend an afternoon when on the space coast-NOT TO BE MISSED!!!

There is so much to look at! They have a self-guided tour, just scan your QR code and listen (bring your own cell and headphones). There are SO MANY books and things to look at! The virtual experience show is really fun! It has some Wizard of Oz, a planetary show, and a Van Gogh virtual exhibit. It's very fun and there are benches to sit on. It feels like you're walking on the yellow brick road! Definitely recommend it! The staff is friendly and there is a souvernue shop too!

For an experience like nothing you've ever seen, you must stop here. Truly one of a kind! I cannot express how amazing our time was, going back through history. Actual props from the movie, figurines, books, & the 'live feel' video experience....10 stars. Highly recommend & I will be back. Thank you very much

We had an absolutely enchanting experience at the Wizard of Oz Museum in Florida! This place truly transports you to the magical world of Oz. The attention to detail in recreating scenes from the movie is astonishing. From Dorothy's ruby slippers to the Emerald City, everything is beautifully displayed. The museum's staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enjoyable. They were eager to share interesting facts and stories about the making of the movie. One of our favorite parts was exploring the history and memorabilia section, which gave me a deeper appreciation for the film's cultural impact. The gift shop also offers a fantastic selection of Wizard of Oz merchandise. Overall, this museum is a must-visit for any Wizard of Oz fan or anyone looking for a whimsical adventure. I give it 5 stars without hesitation!

What a pleasant surprise! This museum is so informative and the immersive experience was delightful (the Wizard of Oz and Van Gogh!) You'll be surprised how much time you spend here and we even watched some of the movie. Adult rntrance is $30, there's also a cute gift shop. Loved the homage to The Wiz and Wicked as well.

It's small but truly an awesome experience. I appreciate how well preserved everything is. I love the vintage items. The whole experience is wonderful. You get Wizard of Oz and Van Gogh! There's also a little room for kids to play. I truly enjoyed it. It was worth the trip and the shop has unique things to choose from. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable! I'm a huge fan and I would come back. I hope it continues to grow!!!!!

This was an awesome adventure! Plan for a couple hours and be sure to use the QR code tour through the museum and then sit through the entire immersive experience (or skip through it if you’re up for a really fun time!) this was an awesome time and a TON of memorable displays. Totally fun for all ages!

This was worth visiting. So many Wizard of Oz items to see. The history of how the movie became to be...the totally cool IMMERSIVE ART Museum experience was great. We felt the tornado take us away to Munchkin land, we got to walk on the yellow brick road and in the land of poppies...a nice thing to do while in Cocoa Beach.

What a gem! The artifacts are very well organized and beautifully displayed. Had a lot of fun taking pictures with the life size characters. The immersive experience was a treat too. They even have a little playroom for the kids. The staff, Mike and Jessica, are very friendly and knowledgeable. The Port is minutes away. Good place to grab some food on the water

Small but HUGELY Informative. Pics & Props were plentiful. Finding out stuff that was In the books but Not in the movie was very interesting. The Back Room has a very cool 360° showing of a different version of T.W.o.O. + it threw some Vincent Van Gogh in it too. It should be advertised more. I found it on line, but Most of the locals and drivers didn't know it existed 🤷🏻‍♀️. A Must to see for fans🌈

Such an incredible and niche place to learn all about the wizard of oz! I LOVED all of the collectible items they had on display. The immersive experience was also SO FUN! Mike was super friendly and Knowledgeable. Would 1000% go back!

We had so so much fun! The museum has so many interesting things to see. My children went on a little scavenger hunt and loved finding details I would have missed. The interactive exhibit felt like we were in an actual story. The Van Gogh experience was awesome.

It was wonderful to see everything, and even better for my daughter. We had seen the Van Gogh Experience too up here (which my daughter loved) so that was a definite plus❤️😁

Our group included ages 8 to 80, and everyone had a magical time! It was truly wonderful to relive memories in a new way, learn about Frank Baum, and delve into the history of Oz and beyond. Highly recommend this experience for all ages.

This museum is a gem! We absolutely loved our visit. Not only is it full of so many amazing things, but the owner is so kind. My kids ages 10 and 8 even loved it. The best part is it’s completely wheelchair accessible. We cannot wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time. The museum is bright and clean and we were Amazed at all the artifacts and memrobila and props . Very big collection of everything Oz from the original books to costumes. Everything displayed so nicely and organized. The Wizard of Oz scenes and Van Gough Immersive and flying through the universe was awesome. That is great for all ages. Our 6 month old loved it too. Great gift shop too. If your a fan of The Wizard of Oz books and movies, you will enjoy it! Wish I could post the little video my daughter made of our visit.

I went with my mom, cousin, and 2 year old daughter. I absolutely loved seeing all the memorabilia and the history behind the books. The immersive room was by far the best part and it was so cool to be in the middle of the scenes. I will definitely be taking her back as she gets older.

I am visiting from CA. I didn’t know what to expect. This was an amazing experience! There was a lot of history about the Wizard of Oz. Lots of knowledgeable stuff and great QR codes to go with the displays. There was a fantastic video, too! You will have a great time if you visit this museum! The people were very nice who greeted me! They gave me a military discount for the admission ticket. I highly recommend this activity!

They claim it’s the largest collection of artifacts from the film, it’s more like the Largest collection of Oz memorabilia! not much else to look at. They have one jacket from a play production and fur used by Judy garland. The interactive experience was laughably bad. Save ur money, just watch the movie to relive the magic.

  • 5/5 Amy F. 11 months ago on Google
Definitely worth seeing. They have many interesting things to see. As an added bonus, they have the Van Gogh immersion exhibit. If you are in Cocoa Beach, stop by and see them.

This here was nothing special unless your an Oz or Wizard fan club member. A place of a lot of memorabilia and information about the book/movie. I didn’t think the film they showed was very good or was the free showing of Van Gogeh. For the price of the event was a little high.

We really enjoyed the museum and all the memorabilia. I highly recommend if you are fan Wizard of Oz the movie or the books. I really like QR codes for the self guided tour. Mike was great very knowledgeable and great with overview before you go in the museum!!!

Amazing place to visit and learn things you never knew about this iconic classic. Jackie was amazingly informative and went through everything thoroughly and concisely. The memorabilia is worth seeing alone, but the immersion experience was amazing. If you liked the movie, this is a must see while you're in the area.

Wow...I just can't get over the actual history of The Wizard of Oz This was a nice surprise and cool for everyone, young and old. A lot of work went into this museum. The owner is very knowledgeable about all things Oz. The last part of the tour with the immersed experience at the end was VERY cool. I would recommend checking this place out. Who doesn't love The Wizard of Oz?

What a fun experience! The staff is so welcoming and generous with their time. I really enjoyed examining all the memorabilia and learning about the original book. The immersive experience was wonderful, too, segueing from Oz to the Hubble telescope space sequence to Van Gogh’s art, all set to relaxing music. The gift shop has a great variety of merchandise. This place is one of my favorite ‘finds.’

It was absolutely amazing, the QR guided tour was great and all the posted information was beautiful. The immersion room was fun and spacious. We went at 10am on a Wednesday and were the only ones there so we got to ooo and aaaa and giggle as much as we wanted. Definitely would recommend.

Definitely worth the time and money. So much history and information. I learned a lot about the author(s) of Oz. Would have never known there was so much behind the stories. The immersive experience was a pleasant surprise and well worth the ticket cost. Buy your ticket online to save $1 or so.
